Such a great hole-in-the-wall find in Cheyenne! They are currently open for takeout, but you can eat your takeout in the restaurant if you want to. There are a few indoor tables available. The owner came out and sat and chatted with us while we ate. The spicy chicken is fantastic. They have a selection of non-alcoholic beverages available. The kimchi is awesome. They sell it in to go containers by itself, as well. Street parking is available and we were able to park right in front on a Friday afternoon.

I wanted to like this place. The rave reviews must come from folks inexperienced with Korean cuisine. The Kalbi ribs was tasty but lacked a sear to caramelize the meat This is the only Korean restaurant that did not use short grain rice and did not offer kimchi, which I could overlook except for the meat. The sign says "take out" only but there were three tables with customers.

Love the food! Really good and tasted authentic. The owner also really nice lady. But, this place only accept cash payment. Make sure bring some cash!

Up front: They only accept cash, so hit an ATM because you don't want to miss eating here! Korean House is honestly pretty easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for, but i promise that you'll be happy you didn't miss it if you go. The food came out steaming hot, and it was so good i burned my mouth a little because i couldnt wait to eat it. The service was quick and our server was so kind, answering any question i had. It came out hot, fresh, and in large portions. I definitely plan on visiting again so i can try out more items on the menu!

Who knew I'd be able to find some of the most bangin' Korean food in freaking Cheyenne!!! Place is a total hole in the wall and we were the only non Asians in the joint so we knew it was gonna be fire. Adding to the authenticity, the menu was just pictures on the wall and the Korean ladies working in the kitchen got into a fight over mistranslating a to go order! My friend and I both got bibimbap with bulgogi. One, the lunch portion for like $9 feed us for like three days! Second, that meat was like crack good. And third, literally everything was so fresh and the rice so crispy! If I lived in Cheyene, I'd be there like twice a week and sustain my entire life eating their bibimbap!

Don't nap on this place. The flavors are so good. Cash or local check, and take out only right now. My bibimbap was prettier before i stirred it up, but tastes delicious.

Fantastic Sushi, with Wonderful Gluten-Free Options!!…read more - - - - - - - - June, 2026 Visit Kyle and his team went out of their way to make us gluten free sushi, off-the-menu!!! and it was amazing! Kyle put so much into getting us a wonderful lunch that we would grant six stars if we could !!!!! For the record, as of this visit, most of the food at Hi sushi is gluten free... only the eel sauce, onion something and tempura have gluten, and they are willing to substitute for you. And still, as we just asked to confirm what we could order, Kyle and Kyla worked to confirm what we wanted and we confirmed a couple substitutes. THEN they worked magic.... They improvised on the recipe and brought us something even more special!! The Tokyo combo is good and they made sure to replace the one fish marinated in eel sauce with another fish - this was good. Same for the nigiri / sashimi we ordered. Both were good without soy sauce... and Lyle replaced that with another gf sauce for us and that was extra tasty, too. Kyle's magic was the Laramie roll... a couple ingredients were substituted, and they put "baby" scallops on top - the smallest I have ever seen, about the size of a pearl onion. And then Kyle and team provided a special sauce that was fantastic. The GF Laramie special is fantastic. Thank you for a great lunch, Hi Sushi!! ----- ----- -----

The veggie tempura was plentiful with 2 servings of 4 veggies. For the main, we usually choose cook it yourself style but after a long morning of sports tournaments, we came to try the cooked bbq. Now we are reformed and prefer it. It was nice to have 3 platters of meat to dig into. There is plenty for a single person but for a couple people it could be fine with some appetizers. One in our party chose the bimbibap and it was a great portion. The mains were served it with 5 sides which were fine. Note that additional side like lettuce might be extra. Overall, the tastes are perfect if you've never tried Korean food before. We finished our meal with the strawberry crepe cake which was the perfect end to our meal. Definitely recommend if you have a hungry crew.

Her recommendations to try anything here are spot on. The food was A1. We had a soup bowl Koi-sho (sp?) with beef, a chicken Thai basil stir fry, crab cheese, and spring rolls. We only regret we can't return in the near future, because we don't live in Colorado. It was completely worth the trip across town from our hotel to enjoy authentic food. The ingredients were fresh, the sauces were put together with expertise, the presentation was just right. I thought the spice level of 1 was perfect--heat that didn't overwhelm the other flavors. My husband didn't complain about his level 2. He thought it was great, but he wouldn't go higher. The restaurant itself is basic tables and chairs, but each table has a beautiful live flower rooting in water. Everything looked and felt clean.

Anyway, somewhere I'd heard relatively good things, so I stopped in for take-out when I found myself on this side of town. It was well into the dinner hour but the place was relatively empty - just a couple of people at one table. In retrospect, I should have taken this as a sign. I ordered one of my go-to dishes - pad see ew - and decided to try the fried tofu as an appetizer. I am struggling to find anything positive to say, so I'll just give it to you straight. The pad see ew had barely any broccoli, which to me is essential to the dish. I ordered it with beef - they used steak, but it was cut into tiny pieces and tough - cooked too fast and too well done most likely. The tofu was deep fried hard - as in there was a really hard crust - and it was packaged with absolutely no garnish, just the hard blocks of tofu and a container of sauce. I'm not sure if they've recently changed ownership or if I caught them on a bad day - it just seems weird to me that my experience was so contrary to all of the other reviews. I may give them another chance, but I can't say that I'm going to hurry back.

From the moment we walked in - I'm recovering from recent shoulder surgery and dressing isn't easy so I didn't look my best - I discreetly asked the hostess if it was ok for me to come in looking kinda grungy and she sweetly told me I looked cute. Then a very friendly young man led us to our table. The place was packed, there were a lot of families with children as well as older folks like my hubby and me. Our waiter was also very friendly. Hubby and I usually each order soup, then we order 2 appetizers and one entree to split when we go to Asian restaurants. We ordered the same here. The egg drop soup was heartier than we expected, it had corn and little bit of chicken in it. It was delicious. Our appetizers, spring rolls and wrapped shrimp, were delicious and they were served on beds of noodles with sliced carrots and cucumbers around the edges of the plates. We had to ask our waiter for carry out containers before our entree even arrived. Our entree, pork with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and oyster sauce was delicious....just like everything else was. And since we ordered too much we had enough left over for dinner the following night. Hubby and I usually go for Thai or Japanese when we're in the mood for Asian cuisine and we have our favorite spots in FoCo for those (I prefer Thai, he prefers Japanese). We now have our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great and the service was very friendly!
