The atmosphere is well lit and spacious! I loved that their menu had illustrations of the dishes. The service was also excellent! The food was very good - wish I hadn't forgotten to take pictures! My husband and I shared tteokbokki, which was delicious but could have used a little more sauce. I ordered the chicken bulgogi which was very tasty and the sides/toppings were also yummy. My husband really enjoyed his order of kimchi dolsot. Unfortunately, I do not eat beef or pork which made it more limiting to eat here - so just a heads up to those in a similar boat! Without a doubt the worst meal I have had in recent memory. I was looking forward to Korean barbecue of bulgolgi at the table. Only at table option was a meal for 2 at $60. The owner told me it would be a 25 minute wait. 60 percent of the tables were empty. I opted to get it off the menus already prepared. I think they boil the meat - all day. Totally tasteless and over done. The rice was the only part of the meal that was edible. The egg rolls must have been bought frozen. Definitely not freshly prepared. Many of the tables had meals from lunch not yet cleaned. A large area of the restaurant had what appeared to be lost and found piled on tables along with junk. When I went to pay I had to get the owner's attention away from the tv show he was watching. The overall impression was that they had stopped caring about the restaurant, the food and the customers a long time ago. Horrible experience. Avoid at all cost. Food quality has gone down substantially. They really need to work on basic broth and stock for soup. Just no flavor lately. I've been there quite a bit in the past but now it's disappointing. Super clean and friendly staff. Looks like it's run by a family. Everyone was happy and informative. I stopped by for lunch. They had a good share of traffic for early Friday. Didn't have to wait for a table. I ordered the Sanchae Dolsot, which is the hot clay pot bibimbap. And a Japchae to go. This has been our go-to Korean place for 20+ years! We loved it back when it was tucked into a dark strip mall and even more now in its bright and spacious location. We ordered the Yakimandu, which is served fresh, hot, and crispy and the dak (chicken) bulgogi--you can request more or less spicy when ordering. The banchan accompanying entrees includes the most excellent cucumber kimchi. Also highly recommend the bibimbap in the stone bowl, while my teenager loves the kimbap rolls. read more

One of the very best if not the top Korean restaurant in the OKC area. Have not tried their KBBQ because you need a minimum of two people but was able to order dishes they had available a la carte, including the Kim Bop (which was solid) as well as the pork bulgogi (closest thing to the pork belly for one person) and the cold noodles (Naeng Myun). Their bonchon (side dishes) were also good, but wished they had potato salad and/or some macaroni/noodle/japchae side like some places do. Also saw that they had jajjungmyun (black bean sauce noodles) listed on the menu but they didn't have it available at that time. Very good and highly recommended! read more

My go-to Korean Restaurant when visiting the OKC area. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon, later than I normally like (1215) and place is packed, we waited roughly ten minutes to be seated. Order my standard Beef Lunch (bulgogi) extra spicy; today they did not disappoint. A ten piece yaki appetizer for the table to get us started, then the lunch arrives within 15 minutes. Good flavor, great heat on the beef today! Another friend that ordered the extra spicy had a runny nose and sniffling by the time he finished his plate. Pro-tip for this place...arrive early, 1055 and wait for the doors to open. Get here later than 1120-1130 and you can expect to wait for a table. We have enjoyed our TKD Team dinners here! It's a new tradition to dine here after the OK tournament and they have served our large parties flawlessly. The bulgogi, galbi and (hot) bibimbap are our go to orders and as I wrote this, I am getting hungry remembering the delicious meal. It's a simple place and they just do food right. In fact we almost went back a second time in a row as we can't seem to order anything but our fave items. The beef was super tender and flavorful. I ordered Kimbob which is rice rolled in seaweed with veggies and meat inside. The kimbob was pretty good. I also ordered yukke jang. Yukke Jang is a spicy beef soup. It is served with a bowl of rice and side dishes to include kimchi. I enjoyed my yukke jang too. It tasted similar to the same dish in Korea except not quite as spicy. I guess it was toned down a little for my pallet. The resturant was clean and fairly large. It had table set ups for 4 and 8 people. The servers were friendly and polite. My overall experience was excellent and I will go back again. I would like to try the korean style bbq that you cook on the table in front of you. Hey, I don't normally leave reviews because I feel like mistakes happen and a restaurant shouldn't be tarnished because of one bad day, but what happened to me today was not this. If you are the child of a veteran and you want to use your household member tax exempt, it's best not to go here. Even though it explicitly says on OKlaw that a household member is the spouse or other persons who live in the veterans home, they said that I do not count. I tried to explain that I do by even providing my military ID, but he refused and said no I am not a household member, even though I live in the house. The food wasn't all that either 2/5, but that is a separate issue. read more
