I Love the food but it's very expensive they serve their soup in paper bowls No bread No pickles Soup is good but i hate eating it in paper for what they charge can't they give you 1 piece of bread and a couple pickles? Love this deli! Not only do they have delicious food, but you could also buy loaves of bread, bagels, sweet treats, and shelf stable items to take home. My daughter and I split the full size corned beef on rye bread. We got it lean. My husband got half a brisket sandwich on a French roll (forgot to take a picture of this sandwich) For sides we tried the potato salad, the macaroni salad and the cucumber salad. All of them were terrific. My favorite was the cucumber salad. We also got matzo ball soup with noodles, a sweet and sour cabbage roll, a potato knish, a piece of noodle kugel, and potato pancakes (I also forgot to take a picture of the this) Yes, we got a lot of food! Everything was so darn good. We took home some egg bagels. I brought these home and put them in the freezer and we have been enjoying them. Frank helped us out that day and he was so very nice. Each time I have been to Kosher Bite, has left me disappointed. Over 7 or so years ago, I was so disappointed with my sandwich and vowed to never come back. Since then I have found a terrific deli in NYC which includes next day shipping to guarantee freshness and I utilize them whenever I get that Jewish deli crave! They have never disappointed me. Knishes, pastrami, seeded rye bread, mustard, pickles and their kreplach soup is the best I have ever had. I mentioned to friends last week that I had flown in my Christmas Eve dinner from this NY Deli and was looking forward to it. It was mentioned that I should try Kosher Bite next time. I mentioned that I had not been there in years as it was a disappointment to me. So as I was running errands today I thought, OK I will run in and give them a try. I picked up a half sandwich and paid $12 for it. What I got was so darn small and flat! I peeled away the tin foil and was laughing so hard and thought Why? Why did I just take $12 and toss it all away? My brisket sandwich was appetizer/snack size and was about 3 inches round. I asked for mustard and seeded rye but was told they were out of seeded rye. AND there was no mustard on my sandwich. And if there was any mustard, I couldn't tell. Sorry Kosher Bite, I will not be returning anytime soon at all. I don't typically eat a Kosher diet, it's more of a visit of convenience here because I go to the school next door and we only have a 15 minute window to grab a snack but the guy that works here in the mornings is always so friendly and nice. They're open soooo early and the older ladies that frequent here are so cute and sweet. My parents raved about this place after their first visit awhile back. Today my dad and I went for lunch. I had a Turkey on rye with lettuce, tomato,onions, and thousand island dressing. As my side I had potato salad along with a pickle. My dad had a pastrami sandwich with the same sides. He also ordered us latkes. The order comes with 3. We each also had a Dr. Browns cream soda. Once we sat down to wait one of the employees came over and refunded my dad a couple bucks because they only had two latkes available. I thought that was so kind. Most businesses wouldn't do that. We arrived right around 12:30 so right at lunch time. We had no issues with finding a table. Seemed like a lot of people take food to go. The food was so good! The latkes especially were so flavorful. They had a nice crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. They come served with applesauce. The employees were all so friendly and helpful. Also tried a knish, which was very good, but different from the type I'm used to. The prices were very reasonable and the quality and service were outstanding. Not wanting or having the time to cook for Rosh Hashanah dinner we called Kosher Bites to place an order. I used to go there once a week to pick up lunch for a holocaust survivor who lived in Laguna Woods, but since she passed away and living in Dana Point it was a little bit of a drive to stop by for lunch, boy did I realize how good this place was when we all sat down for our dinner. We ordered brisket, matzo ball soup, potato pancakes, challah, apple strudel and everything was excellent. The service as usual was terrific and the order process and pick up process was very easy. For sure we will be ordering from Kosher Bites for our future holiday dinners and I now will make it a point of driving over once a month to a great deli sandwich for lunch. This is a hole-in-the-wall with just a couple of metal tables. Most patrons get take out. Two Jewish friends and I went recently and had pastrami sandwiches. Delicious! I've been coming here for about 9 years. I have not been back for 2 years and there was a change of ownership. I ate here about a week ago and ordered the triple meat corned beef and pastrami. For what I paid and the amount of meat I got on the sandwich I can't justify it was so little. I literally was shocked I've ordered this sandwich many times before and have never felt ripped off like this. This is what happens when you cut corners people will start to notice and slowly stop coming. My money can be spent better elsewhere. read more

Old school Brooklyn style Jewish Deli (they even have Ubetz chocolate syrup should one want to make an old fashioned "Egg Cream" and they also have black and white cookies- which made this transplanted New Yorker feel at home) I had Brisket with Russian Dressing on Rye bread of course and it was delicious Potato salad was better than the macaroni salad for my taste and of course the kosher dill pickle was on point. Found this gem on a whim. Not many good kosher delis in South OC, but I was very pleased at this one I got a corned beef with cole slaw, matzo ball soup, and a Dr Brown's. Sandwich was served with choice of bread. Nice portion of super-tasty corned beef; not fatty at all. Slaw was the mayo type, with not too much mayo. Matzo ball soup was a joy. Matzo was flurry fluffy and light, no hockey puck here. Broth was rich Staff was super friendly and attentive. Looks like they have good pastries and fresh breads. Have been wanting to go over past 30 days but have been busy. To start off with this is truly old school Jewish deli. I have been lucky enough to go to many in New York. This is as close to New York as possible. I had pastrami on seeded rye with mustard which was excellent. Also purchased corn beef and brisket to have sandwiches along with a loaf of bread. I have been going to Kosher Bite for many years After the change of ownership, things seemed okay for a while, but my last visit was truly disappointing. Went mid week, got there around 11:30, and the first sign of trouble was no line, next, nothing in the counter. Ordered my sandwiches and sat down to a small ball of dried out pastrami that didn't even cover the dry, (Day old?) bread. The Mac salad was watery and flavorless as was the Potato Salad.
