I love it! I was craving latkes this Hanukkah and found this place online. We walked in after the lunch rush. It's A simple storefront. A heating table towards the back of the room about 6 options. Nothing special. No latkes. I asked the lady if there were any latkes and she said she would make me some. Oh wow!!! She makes them with cooked potatoes instead of raw potatoes. My favorite. I haven't had that since my teens. They were terrific. Then, on to the food on the heating table. First, some kind of soup. With okra and barley. While I can't describe the taste, it was the best, tastiest soup I have had in years. Basically, one thing after another was exceptional. We will be back. My review is based ONLY on her food, because the place itself is not very pretty, it is all self serve (so don't go in thinking you will be waited on- it's just NOT going to happen.) It is pretty obvious that her specialty is catering, which she pretty much has nailed. I paid $10 and tried everything! Just had lunch at Kosher Buffet and what a treat did we have. The owner was so nice and helpful and kept bringing us a variety of foods because this was our very first visit. We started out with a delicious vegetable soup that could have been the whole meal due to being seasoned perfectly. The Chicken pieces were seasoned in the Moroccan fashion...WOW what a treat and they were so tender and delicious you just couldn't stop eating more. The rolls where large and home backed and a little brown on the bottom but we eat the whole thing because they were so good. The fish was good and so was the bean soup and great jalapenos grilled peppers. Desert was a oatmeal cookie that we took home due to being so filled up. Will we go back again you darn rights we will and can't wait to do so. Kosher Buffet feels like you're in someone's home for a meal. Customers and employees all seemed to get along and many people came in to get food to go for their Shabbat dinner today. Seriously the most awesome all you can eat Kosher Food! I have never got food poisoning from this Kosher food! A very reasonable price for kosher meats. I asked the owner chef lady if she could make all you can eat Matzo Ball Soup in Chicken Soup! And she made it. It was fantastic huge matzo balls floaters with very flavorful soup with many chunks of veggies and herbs and chicken. I love the dark chicken meat. I love the stuffed beef bell peppers. I love the white pita bread. There is a place to wash your hands before serving yourself. There are plenty of clean plates. Very quiet customers and the gentiles love this restaurant too. Peace loving customers. People don't talk politics in this restaurant. Plenty of parking and it's free. Call before coming during holiday hours. May be closed the whole day if it is a Jewish holiday. Even the Orthodox Jews eat here, you know the guys in black hats and black suits, and beards, the men eat here. That's how great this restaurant is. Don't ask for butter though they don't have it here due to Kosher food laws. I'm Asian and a Gentile and I just love this food. All people are welcome here and customers are nice and quiet and welcoming too. Closed on Saturdays of course and maybe Sundays. Check hours. Today they had salad, hummus, pita, chicken soup, chicken schnitzel, baked chicken with potatoes, veggies (did not try as these looked typical cafeteria-style), rice, stuffed grape leaves (pass on these), and several other items.
