    Burned gyoza

I'm not sure what happened tonight but the lady in the front was so rude . The cook was also on face time maybe that's why he burned the gyoza ? There was mold on the water jug and when I asked if I could get a refund on the gyoza they said no but they could make me a new batch . . The new one came out raw... I usually come here often but I don't plan to if I see the workers you had tonight on the clock again I've never been to a restaurant where EVERY worker on the clock was on face time . (Update : I ended up getting super sick . I've been throwing up nonstop with the worst stomach pain of my life...)

So. Damn. Good. The chicken broth is to die for. Bursting with flavor & a velvety texture. I haven't had ramen that I actually enjoyed until here. Their ramen noodles are quality noodles, their toppings are fresh and delicious. If ordering chicken, make sure it isn't burned or overcooked- it's happened before & that texture isn't enjoyable in ramen, but they have no problem revising. My husband and I tried this spot and didn't expect to love it like we do. He usually gets the pork broth, but adds chicken for protein. The cashiers are kind and have been welcoming. As far as the ambiance, it's clean, but the music kind of throws the vibe off. Will be back for more delicious ramen

This is our go to ramen place when we're in the area. Me and my now husband, had our first date here and we come back all the time. I've never been disappointed and I'm still in love with their ramen after all these years. The ramen broth is full of flavor and the staff is so nice and attentive. I've been currently obsessed with their spicy pork chop rice bowl. It's such a huge portion, end up taking half home. The chicken karaage is also a must try, so tender and yummy.

Wow!! I'm still full and I tried this place weeks ago!! On a cold moist day the vibe was absolutely a warm bowl of ramen. A quick search we found Kotsu and could have been happier. When we got in it was slow only a couple or two. By the time we left 75 percent of the space was full. This is a walk up and order then seat yourself type place. The servings were absolutely massive which I wasn't aware of or I wouldn't have ordered one of everything with a side of rice haha. The meal was fast, extremely flavorful and really hit the craving that was itching.

One of the best ramen soups I've ever had! The Kotsu OG was so delicious, I didn't want it to end. The portion size was generous, and while the pork meat portion was smaller, the chicken had plenty of pieces. Service was quick and friendly. I've definitely found a new favorite spot

super good! spice and everything was on point! The service was attentive and the ambiance was nice and peaceful!

    Cheap plastic fork

I really wanted to love this place, but almost everything that could go wrong with a carry-out order did. I placed my order online, and it took nearly an hour to be ready. When I finally sat down to eat, I opened the container and was greeted by a clump of mushy, fused-together noodles. Not exactly a great start. To make things worse, I wasn't given chopsticks for my ramen--just a flimsy plastic fork that actually broke mid-bite. I'm a big fan of ramen, and this was the first time I've ever had to eat it with a fork. Not exactly a milestone I was hoping to hit. As for napkins, they included a couple of those rough, brown, tri-fold paper towels you usually grab in a public restroom. It really added a certain... atmosphere to the whole experience. The food itself wasn't terrible--I've definitely had better, but it wasn't the main issue. Overall, though, the experience was so consistently off that it felt less like a meal and more like an experiment in how many small things can go wrong at once.

Some of the best ramen I've ever had. The broth was incredibly flavorful with a perfect consistency, not too thick, not too watery; and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I constantly compare other ramen spots to this one and this is my favorite! The service and food were great, but the facility maintenance needs attention. The bathroom was unattended: no toilet covers and no soap.

This is our second time here, tried the bowl this time around and again it did not disappoint. I recommend this to everyone that wants to try something new and enjoy delicious flavor! Whoever is in charge of the playlist needs a raise! The music and vibe make dinning here more enjoyable.

The broth is the real star here. Rich, flavorful, and clearly simmered for hours, it has that perfect depth that makes you want to keep sipping long after the noodles are gone. Whether you go for tonkotsu, shoyu, or spicy miso, each one is packed with layers of flavor that feel both authentic and thoughtfully crafted. The noodles have the ideal texture--springy, chewy, and never mushy. You can tell they're made or cooked with care because they hold up beautifully in the broth without getting lost in it. The toppings are just as impressive: tender chashu pork that practically melts in your mouth, perfectly soft-boiled eggs with jammy yolks, fresh scallions, and nori that adds just the right finishing touch. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the kind of place you can go alone for a comforting meal or bring friends for a casual hangout. Service is quick and friendly, and the staff seems genuinely happy to help you customize your bowl exactly how you like it. Portion sizes are generous, and everything comes out hot and fresh. It's also surprisingly consistent--every visit tastes just as good as the last, which is rare and really appreciated. If you're looking for ramen that feels both comforting and high quality, this place absolutely delivers. It's the kind of spot you start craving before you've even left.

Two years later, Kazama has become our go to sushi spot. My wife and I have been back more times than I can count and it's one of those places where we already know we're going to leave happy. The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious, the sauces are amazing, and the spicy garlic edamame is STILL one of my favorites. We've tried plenty of different rolls since that first visit and have found quite a few favorites along the way. The service has also continued to be friendly and welcoming every time we come in. We love the hole in the wall vibes this spot gives. I always think the best compliment you can give a restaurant is becoming a regular. We said we found our new favorite spot two years ago and Kazama has definitely earned that title. Still an easy 5 stars from us!

Bummer to have to lower my rating but the inconsistency has become frustrating…read more I imagine there may be several chefs and I'm not opposed to personal style but when the inconsistencies include sub par plates it's not ok. For example, we love the vege roll and it usually has seaweed salad and lots of good stuff on it yet last month our arrived with mostly lettuce and nothing interesting. We thought it was an anomaly until yesterday when we had one of our favorites, the salmon skin hand roll and it came with salmon skin that was undercooked, not crispy. We enjoy the restaurant and love the hamachi collar so we're not giving up yet, just keeping our fingers crossed.
