We read several reviews about slow service. We decided to try the place anyway and see for ourselves. We entered the place (about 1:30pm) past the lunch crowd. We fo seated and without much delay someone came over and asked ok our drinks order. We then ordered food which also came out in a normal amount of time. So what's your he p Olen with this place? I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich. When it came there was only meat between the buns. I mentioned it to my wife. She pulled the sandwich apart to find some cheese. She claims to have found some cheese but I didn't see it. The meat was also very dry. In short it was not a good sandwich. My wife ice ordered a burger. She states that the best she can rate it is at the bottom of OK level. Staff seemed short and barely wanted to engage. Looking at the reviews and combining it with my experience. I would not recommend this place. Find somewhere else to dine.

Local family owned restaurant that my family had been going to for years. They sure love the prime rib and live music. The employees are so nice and make you feel like you're at home and part of the family. The food is always delicious and gives you that sort of home cooked meal feeling. Always a stop when I'm back in town visiting.

Service is so slow you may want to bring a snack. Smells like barf inside.

I have NEVER had a bad meal here, I would say it falls in the "greasy spoon" category but that works too.

I have to say Bunkhouse Brewery was one of my favorites here in town. I thought their beers were creative and more on the experimental side but what really drew me into one of their beers was an ESB (Extra Special Bitter) and the one I had had brown sugar in it which really put a great spin on this beer type I've had on a variety of occasions. The specific name for this beer is the Bozeman Pride ESB. The brown sugar in this beer tempers the bitterness and you can taste the brown sugar itself in the flavor profile. This gives the beer a great complexity which made this beer a super fun and memorable beer to enjoy and drink. I could easily delve in for another time and time again.

They have a wide variety of flavors and you can really taste each individual ingredient within them. When I went I had the bonfire blonde ale and it is definitely in my top 3 beers I've had to this day. Definitely worth checking out !!! The only con I would have is that the inside is a little small when it comes to days with bad weather.

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

My server knew the special menu, regular menu and drinks very well. I ordered the bison patty melt and tots for the meal and the Bridger Hazy IPA for the drink. The bartender recommended the IPA and it was excellent. The homemade tots were great. A shredded potato in the middle, nice and creamy and crunchy exterior. Feedback was there were only 5 on the plate. Definitely could use more. The bison patty met was perfectly cooked. A lot of folks overcook and dry out the bison. It was perfectly medium and juicy. Feedback would be a little char on the patty would be great. The service really tailed off in the end, it was not super busy and they had about 5 servers behind the bar. I sat there for at least 15 min until another bar tender asked if I wanted another brew and my server came about 5 to 10 later to attend to things.

Great food Great…read morevibes Good service This place can be girls night out, dude meet up, family gatherings or date night. The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? I'd swap that for some roasted garlic with the truffle oil. 6/10 Local brews and ciders were great! 9/10 Huckleberry Cheesecake 9/10 save room for this bad boy. We split it between 4 people. Not too sweet. Tart and delightful! The world cup was on the TV so it was a hopping place even as it rained during a late June evening. Parking garage nearby is free for 2hrs so thats cool! Come DT BZN and support local!

The atmosphere was great and made you feel transported to a different time. Incredibly tasty and on the heavier side Elk meatball- pretty good, but I enjoyed their mains more Smoked trout dip- pretty good, but I enjoyed their mains more bison short rib- incredibly tender and very flavorful. The more lean profile of the bison really showed out, and made me appreciate how much tastier bison is compared to beef Wapiti chops- incredibly tender and very flavorful, without being too gamey or fatty Elk and porcini ravioli- really good as well panzanella- balanced and fresh. very well done Service and atmosphere- 5 stars Food came out quickly and the servers and bartenders were really attentive. The cabin feel, the lighting, and all the taxidermy on the walls. I truly felt transported to what Montana is pictured to be. Incredible experience if you're around the area Bottom Line Excellent steakhouse at the Lone Mountain Ranch. The quintessential place to get the Montana experience
