We were pretty excited to try this place and had heard great things. Great reviews definitely inspired us to head over and try them out for a late breakfast after a fasting appointment. I didn't want to get something too heavy so I decided on avocado toast, which I rarely order because of my love of so many other breakfast foods, with one egg sunny side up. My roommate got the corned beef hash that comes with hash browns, cornbread and eggs. The eggs were probably the best part of the meal, however when I went to open my box the egg had been placed upside down and the entire yolk was soaked into the box. Then I opened my toast and found slimy greens over soggy wheat toast. The corned beef was tough and needed a steak knife but the taste was good. Unfortunately the hash browns were barely cooked and had managed to almost congeal into one single mass by the time we ate which was less than 5 minutes after picking up our food. Wanted to love the place but I will not be making a second trip. Hoping others have a better experience. read more

And the fries...it had a seafood taste to it. The only thing that was worth paying for was my 2 eggs. Yhis was my first time here, and definitely my last. We went bright and early at 8am on a Saturday and got seated pretty quick for a group of 7. Everyone said food was so good. I got the corned beef hash plate with corn bread. It was chunks of corned beef and was really good and the corn bread was so delicious. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The chicken and rooster decorations were fun, everywhere you looked there was something quirky. I came a long time ago and should have wrote it then but I never like get anyone in trouble because they did the right thing. I walked in and went to put my name on the waitlist, and immediately got sat. The host/server was instantly yelled at by people in the waiting room. Saying hello we been waiting. And she responded with, did you sign in? and the lady goes no... and she goes ok, so how I going to know.... valid sis! you tell em.... Then, I was eating with my party and the table next to ours tells a different waitress, "hey! why didnt i get a military discount?" and the server said, "hmm did you tell me you were military or show me any identification." and this lady goes "*chuckles* no" and the girl goes, "well that's why, sign here" Nevermind the food is bomb and the location is convenient ... parking is the only issue but they can't control that. Looking for a Saturday Brunch spot on the West side.... Reuben's been here & said it was good! We arrived at 12:25pm. Last call 12:45! There was no staff at the hostess stand but saw workers rushing around. One of the staff girls seated us on a tiny 2-top table by the entrance, but there was clearly more open tables so we requested to move. She sat us on a larger table near the kitchen which was much better! There's lots of cute Rooster decor and collectibles adorning this place. There's also a sign saying they Charge a 3% Credit Card fee. I've been meaning to dine here or do take-out so glad we got a really nice server, Kyra. Elijah was also very friendly & helpful. We also met Manager, Dominique and found out it was their 8 year Anniversary yesterday! Their table's had nice fresh flowers displayed on them. I ordered Corned Beef Benedicts, Mac Nut Pancakes w/ Coconut syrup on the side, and Reuben ordered Mushroom Swiss Burger with Waffle Fries. Presentation was good. Large portions!! My Corned Beef Benedict: Egg was poached well. House-made Corned Beef (brisket-style) was very good. Hash-browns were crispy outside and soft inside. Nice balance. Mac Nut Pancakes: Lots of Mac nuts! Would've like the pancake to be a bit more moist & fluffy but still had decent flavors. Coconut syrup on the side was good. Next time will ask for butter on the side. We have been to Kountry Style Kitchen in Kaua'i and absolutely loved it. When I was driving by this shopping center - I noticed another restaurant with the exact same name. I figured it was someone attempting to copy the business or maybe even another location. Fortunately, it was their second location. This was a very unique place to have a restaurant of this caliber. Mainly because Ewa Beach is pretty far out of the way for tourist clientele. I guess that means more for us, right?! Interestingly enough, that didn't mean there were no people. It was packed out full of locals. If you're a tourist and don't mind the commute, I recommend you stop by. It is in Ewa Beach so there are several beaches available to visit after brunch. The location decor was cute and matched their Kaua'i location. They did an excellent job with consistency. For food - I had their Uber French Toast which was absolutely phenomenal. . My friend and I were driving through Fort Weaver Road towards Ewa Beach around 12:30p, and I found this place on yelp as a place to try. We didn't think we would make it since they close at 1p, but they took us in anyway. Some plates are a bit high, but it is worth the amount and deliciousness they give: Garden Eggs Benedict - 4 stars - for $15.25, I had 2 egg benedicts that included spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and olives. However, I thought the olives overpowered the other ingredients' flavors, and was not able to enjoy the spinach taste with the sauce in it. Also, the sauce was ok, but a little bland, but maybe because I could only taste the olives. I received a moundful of my choice of hashbrowns, and it was perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Best hashbrowns I ever had, and would return again for more. My friend ordered Omelet with Portuguese sausage ($8.50 + your choice of items for an additional price), and it did not disappoint! The omelet was stuffed with an abundance of pieces of portuguese sausage, that he could not eat it all. It comes with a choice of hashbrowns, rice, or fruit cup and toast or cornbread. Of course he chose the hash brown and freshly baked warm, soft cornbread. Service - 5 stars - felt like old hawaii (in the good ole hanabata days), with friendly local speaking staff and a local style setting, except we had to sign in electronically. It's been a while since I've came here with my family. When we first came here it wasn't as busy as it is today. We came for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. I get it, it's busy. We waited patiently for our table since there was a wait. Thankfully not long. We brought in Starbucks and the girl told us she would hold our drinks on the side since it wasn't allowed. Sat and waited a little over 10 minutes before I flagged a server down. Asked her why we didn't get water or help when we sat before the 2 tables she was serving. Rudely, she said I'm not your server then tells me, but I can help you with what you need. So I told her, I need my server? I mean how am I going to know who my server is if I never got served yet and we've been waiting with a hungry toddler? Our server came and took our orders. We ordered the sampler, half order of the strawberry French toast along with the keiki chocolate pancakes. To my surprise our order came out super quick! Everything was good and we finished majority of it. Overall it was an ok experience, wish we got better service today. The foods is a little on the pricier side... But it's still a must try. I did notice our server offered another table 2% off their check for paying in cash... So I wanted to make sure I paid with cash. Unfortunately she didn't offer us the same. We were stuffed and still had a to go box that we could snack on later.
