I ordered two pork belly ramen with extra noodles and a side of rice. Please consider better packaging- noodles should not be mixed with toppings and not in a cheap plastic container.. for $17/18. The container should be large enough so I don't need to use my bowl.. for me that's part of the luxury of ordering in. Now the quality: Rice: inedible. Overcooked or stale... I can't tell.. but it was bad. Ramen: the broth was good, not great but I am sure it's excellent on a good day Noodles: y'all sent me spaghetti or something. The egg was yellow, not orange. Use better ingredients. Get it together. I'm sorry to leave a review like this but I am truly upset. I won't be ordering from here again. I have beef with Kow now. read more

I had come here once like two years ago with my friends and I couldn't remember whether I had enjoyed it or not, or what I even eat or liked about this place so I figured let me give it another shot. Upon entrance we were greeted by the host and given the option to sit anywhere. There were three tables in between two other parties so we wanted the center table to keep a distance since the tables were kinda too close for my comfort. While waiting for the table to be cleaned, a busser came up and announced he was going to clean the table but in an annoyed manner, which I let slide because I would be annoyed too (but I wouldn't let it show). You're able to scan the menu on your phone (it was nice that they had a picture for each dish on the menu and so much to choose from), so as we browsed the menu, we were greeted by our server. She was pleasant and nice. We ordered our dishes and then sat and waited. Looking around the decor was nice and interesting. Not like any other restaurant I've seen. For the location, it definitely stands out. Although for a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was fairly empty and the ambiance was a little awkward. First, the appetizer was delivered, we order wings from Asia and they were good. Then, we received our main dish, we weren't too hungry so we shared a plate and boy I am glad we did! The main dish was huge! We order noodles from Asia and it was more than enough for two to share. Although the noodles were filling, the taste was not great. They reminded me of the noodles you would get at a food court mall. SUPER SALTY! I wanted to return the food but my friend was too embarrassed. So I ate as much as I could before calling it quits, and she ate the rest. Overall, I wouldn't come back. The salty noodles left a bad taste in my mouth and the ambiance was just weird in my opinion. This is such a cool and unique spot. I loved that you have so many things to choose from. The menu is phenomenal. We order various appetizers and meals. The Alfredo was my choice and the pasta and sauce was delicious. I wasn't a fan on the chicken, I felt like it was kids chicken strips. My bf order the Lomo and ohh man that was phenomenal. Very nice place with lots of options to choose from as the menu has options from 4 continents. The service was very good and the food was tasty and delicious. Definitely a place to come back. We had for appetizers the gnocchi and cheese, Steamed Gyozas, and the Tostones de cerdo. The tostones where amazing. I could had that as my main dish as to how good they were. For the main dishes we had the Lasagna, it is prepared with a sweet plantain purée and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't great. The Intruso Wok Noodles were very tasty and cooked well. The Chicken Quesadillas were very good and filled with lots of chicken (a great option for kids). The Chicken Tagine was surprisingly good, with spices that tasted like the traditional Moroccan dish. And the short rib ramen was excellent, the broth was very tasty. The portions were generous and we couldn't try desserts because as you read above, we ate a lot! The drinks were good but pricey for what they were. The food, while not super cheap, I think it was priced appropriately. One tip for hit days in south Florida (which is 90% of the time) , don't sit by the door because every time the door opens you feel the heat hitting you and if you want to sweat while you eat, they have an outdoor space in the front that occupies part of the shopping plaza parking lot. Wanted something good and saw that they categorize their food as comfort food. Looked at the menu and they have salmon. LET'S GO!!! Arrived at the restaurant and the ambiance was nice. Probably more of a dinner place than lunch, but we're here now. Our waiter was JD. Cool guy. Food came out pretty quickly and was hot, which I love. Presentation was great. Taste was even better. A group of us from work decided to have lunch at KOW. It was my first time there but several others had been there many times and loved it. We requested outdoor seating because of the pandemic. I tried the Rose Sangria and Planter's Punch, both were very good. Someone else had the Scorpion White drink and enjoyed it. Some of the meals that we tried were Tostones de Cerdo, Burrata Sampler, Crunchy Shrimp, Steamed Gyozas, and Vaca Frita. They were all delicious. I came here during their soft launch a while back ago and have been wanting to return since (it took me long enough!). The weather was sunny and cool so my daughter and I decided to go for a walk and ended up at KOW for lunch. I'm so happy they're still around. I forgot how amazing their food is. Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful - even when you pick the healthiest options. I opted for the chicken on the grill with a side of wok veggies. I don't eat broccoli but I ate their broccoli - that's how good it is. The grilled chicken was juicy and had the perfect grilled taste, and the chimichurri sauce was the cherry on top. My daughter had the pork gyoza and pork belly ramen. By the delightful expressions on her adorable little face (a young foodie in the making) I could tell she found a new local favorite so KOW will be seeing more of us quite often. So Kitchen of The World has an awesome.concept. Hence the restaurants name they have tastes from all regions. From Africa, Europe, Asia, America, you get it. It's located in a plaza on the first floor. Hostess is there to greet you upon entrance. Night we went dude could've had a bit more mannerisms. We were seated and told they had no paper menus only the scan code thing. Call me old fashion but I had no time for that. So they gave us an iPad to look up the menu. Guess we weren't the only ones who hate the QR codes. Anyhow when we were finally ready we ordered the spring rolls to start off and then my emtree was the Asian steak delish but didn't care for the caramelized onions that came on top. They were on the mushy side, just scrapped them off and went to town on the steak. It was cooked a little more than medium rare (which is my preference) but still rocked flavor. So today we celebrated a family member's birthday here. The place was cozy, small and service was good too. Majority of our dishes were very good except for the picanha cazuela. Both my husband and I ordered the cazuela medium but when the food arrived to our table the cazuela was boiling hot therefore. The steak was no longer medium but kept cooking and became well done. It was upsetting that our steak kept cooking in the hot oil. If I can suggest the chefs, to transfer the steak out of the hot oil cazuela when bringing it to the table to prevent the steak to continue cooking. Other than that, the experience was good. I would like to start by saying that this restaurant is a nice addition to the west Kendall restaurant scene. With a cool idea that takes some of your most renowned dishes per culture and makes it your menu to pick from all in the same place. Having said that... there are dishes that deserve perfecting and need a lot of attention such as the pork belly Ramen.... not the best! This Ramen's broth is a clear broth with very little flavor and texture. The noodles seam to be from one minute Maruchan. (Skip this one). Their Asian Style Fish was very, very good. Very surprised at how great this small spot in West Kendall is! To my surprise they're part of the BOCAS group and I'm in love with Boca's grill and this place is as good. I was treated very well by Luis and greeted immediately as I walked in. We were given samples of their KOW Lager made by Biscayne Bay Brewing which was a treat. We ordered the Hoisin Chicken Wings and Ham/Fish croquetas as an appetizer. The croquetas were fried very well and the croquetas were very meaty and good. The hoison chicken wings were definitely on the sweet side but amazing. Next up we ordered the Shrimp Ramen which was amazing and a big serving. We also got to try the intruso wok noodles and intruso fried rice which were huge servings and so much better than any fried rice we've had. To top it off the Bandeja Paisa was honestly better than some bandeja paisa's I've had. The secret is that they use a better and juicier chorizo as well as picanha for their steak cut. A huge highlight: As your waiter/waitress is taking your order, it's already being submitted to the kitchen! Our drinks came out before we were done chatting with our waitress. Really unique concept of bringing in cuisines from all different parts of the world - and the travel theme is really cute. Ended my birthday weekend dining at KOW for dinner. I love that they have different global inspired menus to give customers a variety of cuisine options. I went with the America's menu and ordered Tostones de Cerdo appetizer (recommend), Bandeja Paisa entree, and from the desserts menu I went with the Chocolate Cake which I think should be titled something different. I liked this restaurant from the moment I walked in. KOW's rustic theme with its bright pop of blue gave the restaurant its unique charm. However, more importantly, let's talk about the food. The tostones were a 10/10!! For the main dish, I got the crab ravioli which was super good! It came out in a skillet and was covered in cheese plus it was pink! The cherry on top came at the very end. We were celebrating mine and my friend's belated birthdays, and the staff was so sweet and brought out a cinnamon donut dessert that was sooo good! Let's start out with the only negative thing I could find about this restaurant. See picture, the only complaint I have is that they don't have steak knives, just butter knives with little teeth that really struggle to cut a steak! The service was excellent, an incredible menu that had a tremendous amount of variety. We ordered the steamed pork dumplings. The main course came with a delicious salad. I had the Picanha with the black beans and rice and sweet plantains, delicious & perfectly cooked medium rare beef. My wife had the vaca frita with rice and she thoroughly loved it. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough room for dessert but the Blondie guava and coconut would've been our choice. I recommend this restaurant and I will visit it again soon. read more

The apps were definitely the highlight, although I was a little disappointed to find that "Golden fried potatoes" are actually French fries. When reading the description for the broken eggs, I pictured hash browns or potato pancakes. The flavor was good though, so hard to complain. As for the entrees.. The ribs were a bit tough, and the flavor was a little lacking. The fried rice tasted like they used week old rice instead if day old rice. The sides were pretty lame imho. Asian street fries are French fries tossed in a sweet Asian sauce, green onion, and seaweed. The mango salad was sliced mango on arugula with diced onions on top. Lastly, The drinks were overly sugary, and pricey at $10 a pop. All n all, it's a weak 3 stars. None of the dishes taste like they were made in a good restaurant from its home country, but the food isn't too bad.. albeit a bit on the pricey side. Came here for dinner, a party of two. When we walked in they ignored us for a bit then proceeded to sit us at a table. The waitress we had was not very inviting. I got the sangria which was delicious, my boyfriend got the sake bomb which he liked as well. For appetizer we started off with the tequepops. They tasted okay. As if they were frozen. We also got the brie and onion pizza. For dinner we got the skirt steak that was very small for the price. We were disappointed. The sides were truffle fries and yuca frita that was also very dry. If you are ever in a pinch like this KOW has got you covered. They offer an array of dishes ranging from Asian, American, European, and even African! Each with its own fusion twist of course and dynamic explosion of flavors. I was able to be seated immediately upon arriving, and the staff were genuinely kind and were all wearing masks and sanitizing each table after every use. The only thing I would say is for them to separate the tables inside a bit more, there was less than 6 feet between the tables I sat in but otherwise everything else was great. They also offered digital menus that can be found on each table upon scanning the QR code with your phone. Now let's talk about the food! First of all, wow! The speed at which all my dishes were coming out was incredible I don't think I even had a chance to take a few sips of my water before my appetizer was set on the table. It almost felt like they were predicting my orders before I placed it. To start I ordered the dumplings that came in this nice little Japanese inspired container (presentation: 5 Stars) and each dumpling was pan fried which I feel is the best way to have them. A little crispy on one side and tender on the other. Then the tequeńos, which were absolute perfection. Little balls of cheese with with guava sauce on the side, a match made in heaven. Followed by the chicken fried rice, which was a pretty big portion but all the flavors were on point. You could even tell that they seasoned the chicken very well witch allowed the entire dish to be amazing. I genuinely really love the concept. However I think it's missing some execution. The flatbread was on the sweeter side (which is expected with caramelized onions) but it was too sweet and crust was very mushy towards the center. Ramen, pretty disappointed. It definitely lacked flavor, had to put salt and chili peppers to eat it. Husband loved the Lomo Saltado and presentation for all the food was great. I think this place has great potential but some menu items could use a third look (or taste).
