Great little grab and go sushi place which is also great for pot luck or party platters. No seating is available inside for consuming your purchases just a small area while waiting for the order to be completed. Well made Maki sushi rolls, the bento boxes are great for a quick lunch at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended and have never been disappointed with the quality of food from this location over the many years of frequenting this location.

The food is always fresh and very ono! Service is always fast and friendly! Kozo never disappoints with these spicy ahi poke bowls. Keep up the great work, food and service!!!

Solid place to get sushi! Staff is friendly, nice kind service, and fresh tasting sushi quality. Each item is made to order by a sushi chef in the back! Quality is better than your standard grocery store, and about the same/slightly less in pure fresh quality as a high cost sushi restaurant. Price range is very inexpensive--reasonable given the style of ordering and experience! As in, all orders are TO GO as this is not a restaurant/sit down shop. All of us enjoyed our orders, and they even had vegan/vegetarian options for me! Yay!

Is it me or are all kozos a little different? In my opinion their spicy ahi bowl at the Kaneohe location smacks!Kozos has been here as long as I can remember and I really do hope they stay that way.

I'm giving a 4 star for the efficiency, friendliness and price of food you get. It's not some fancy sushi place like going to a private omakase chef curated meal at Suntory but if you are hungry it will satisfy you. I come here when I'm pressed between appointments and need a quick lunch that isn't deep fried.

What happened to the circumference of the temaki ? Inflation !

I used to work for the Mo'ili'ili Kozo location in the 90's & their temaki circumference was normal, not like the temaki that I have in these pics. Kozo's prices & quality are still unbeatable though. Their sushi rice still tastes the best too. No matter what, we still love Kozo Sushi !

We've been coming here for years and will always stop by when in the area. My go to is their spicy ahi bowl. Good and service is good!

This location is always consistent. The lady at the cash register is very polite and always makes sure that my order is correct. You can call to order ahead for pickup, but they are fast so you can just go there and order and it will be ready in 5-10min. Their fish is a decent quality for the price. I got the spicy ahi roll and the spicy ahi gunkan. It was my first time trying the roll as I normally just get the gunkan. It was the same thing, but the roll has sprouts inside it. It was okay, but the spiritus gave it a weird flavor that did not pair well with he spicy ahi. Next time I will order the roll without the sprouts inside or just get the spicy ahi gunkan. There are also other sushi sets which are extremely reasonable in price. The store is small and can only hold about 2-3 people at a time so you may have to wait outside for a little bit. They require masks while ordering and picking up in the store (it's their store policy). If you forget, they give you one to use.

My fave Kozo Sushi! You can order then go shop at Foodland then go back and pick up. Or go to Starbucks as an alternative!

They don't give you wasabi? Okay sushi. Very small location. Fast service and cheap price. But they really lost me at no wasabi.

The original spicy tuna joint, portion sizes have gotten smaller but quality is consistant unlike that other chain sushi restaurant.

The contemporary Music playing doesn't block the Train. Also, they sometime don't even clean the Train between trips especially when it reached me at the End. My Table was also chipped where I sat, not sure how it was done maybe chairs hitting it. Interesting that I was told to QR Code to order my Meal like the COVID pandemic while still having a Paper Menu to amuse myself to Read. There was no Plate prices, just the item price. Items was grouped by Food Type not Plates on the Paper Menu. Food wise: I guess they want to reduce cleaning plates because they put 2 orders of the Same item I ordered on the same plate (4 pieces on one). As usual, the sushi isn't made correctly like other Genki. Nigiri rice falls apart picking it up, Mini rolls isn't wrapped completely good. The Positives: Staff was Friendly. Very awareable on the Situation, especially with Water refills. You were able to see your Online Tab on your Phone and was easy to navigate and check what you Ordered and option to reorder what you got already.

It really felt like a family owned business, and the same three people were there both days. Everyone was extremely nice, and honestly, I would come back just because of how welcoming they were. We ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice, and the portion of sesame chicken was huge. I definitely wasn't expecting that much food, but I'm not complaining. The chicken was really crispy and had a great flavor. The food also came out pretty quickly, so there wasn't much of a wait. One thing I really appreciated was how attentive they were with the water. I drink a lot of water, especially with how hot it is in Hawaii, and I mentioned that when we first sat down. Every time my glass started getting low, the gentleman would come over and refill it without me even having to ask. He probably refilled it 8 to 10 times, which I really appreciated. The music was also really good, and we had a nice window seat where we could look outside. The seating was comfortable and the whole experience was just really pleasant. I would definitely recommend coming here, especially if you appreciate good food and genuinely friendly service.
