The freshest poke! Always get fresh! Frozen you can taste the difference! Worth the extra $ you pay! Staff always friendly & polite . Take out only, clean refrigerated display cases. Lines move fast , when busy! You won't be disappointed !

Best poke on the island--hands down. This rivals poke market in Hilo for best poke in Hawaii. Everything is 8262874/10 y'all. It's also nice they give options for both (previously) frozen or fresh poke just depending on if you're balling on a budget or not. No judgment here! We got some samplahz ranging from they dynamite scallop to raw wasabi tako. Yo everything is GAS STATION. My fav this time round was that wasabi tako *chef's kiss* fam Food is great, service is even bettah

Out of all the poke spots I tried on my Hawaii trip, this takes top spot. They have so many poke options to choose from. You order at the counter and take it to go. Service was super quick. Got the Hawaiian ahi and the salmon poke and it was sooooooooooooooooo good. The quality and its freshness are unbeatable. I can't recommend this place enough.

My fiancé and I have been dying to try KBayBros for awhile now. We come to the island often and finally made time to drive out to Kaneohe to try it -- and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered the Dynamite and Lava Flow bowls along with their inari bombs(didn't get a pic because my fiancé ate 2 before I could even take a picture ), and everything was SO good. The fish was incredibly fresh and you can truly tell they put a lot of love and care into their food. I've had poke all over Oahu and honestly, KBay Bros has officially taken my #1 spot on the island. The workers were also super friendly and helpful which made the experience even better. I'm already back on the mainland and still thinking about this place I seriously cannot wait until our next trip so I can have KBay Bros again. It's THAT good!

K.Bay Bros was one of my favorite stops of our trip. I only wish I got to stop by more than once. There's a decent sized parking lot when you pull in, and while the business itself is small, they offer a great variety of poke. I originally was hoping to get their inari bomb options, but they were out of the pre-assembled ones. They did have plain inari and plenty of poke though- which ended up being even better. I ordered a few types of poke and grabbed a box of five inari. I ended up diving into everything as soon as we got back to the car and it was ALL SO GOOD! I would 100% go back again. The team here was also really friendly and welcomed us in. They were the ones who suggested getting the plain inari and topping it with our choice of poke. This is a take-out spot, and I'd definitely recommend trying a few of their flavor offerings because they have some amazing choices.

@fortunefoodfinds: "We're o-FISH-ally ten days away until Christmas! Took a break from shopping to fulfill my poke craving n' went to K.Bay Bros. FISH AND ICE CO. in Kaneohe for their 2-choice poke bowl. Top: lava flow (spicy ahi with sweet chili sauce, unagi sauce n' masago arare). Bottom: pau hana ahi (kim chee based ahi poke topped with crab salad, unagi sauce, chili flakes, furikaki n' green onions). This place I really like a lot, it def hits the spot!" SERVICE: friendly n' accommodating. They made the lava flow poke on the spot after my hubz asked if they had it. INTERIOR: no dining, walk-in to order n' pick up only. EXTERIOR: in a plaza next to Windward Mall WAIT TIME: 10 mins PARKING: shared lot or street OVERALL COMMENTS: ahi poke is really good. Lava flow is slightly spicy n' sweet. The crab salad on the pau hana ahi adds to the yuMmminess while the other toppings give it a an even fresher taste. Both poke are creamy n' saucy, which I like bc it goes so good with the rice that was perfectly cooked. When looking for poke in Kaneohe, this is the place to go to!

Best poke on the island and it's not even close! I ate here 2 times in a span of 3 days and would've love to eat another time but I have to go back home! If you think you'd be too full for a 2 choice, just get it anyways you won't regret it! Hau Pana - kimchee marinade is so good with the right balance of sweet, tang, and slight heat. The crab salad on top makes it nice and creamy while the unagi sauce adds a nice umami. This a crowd favorite forsure and can sell out! Lava Flow - something more creamy and sweet with the sweet chilli sauce marinade, the crispy masago arare makes for great texture too!

First time today. Got there right before opening and had couple people waiting but service was fast. Got 2 two choice poke bowls - spicy ahi/pa'ina and spicy combo/rainbow. The spicy pokes and pa'ina were good - a lot of mayo on the combo one but still yum. Rainbow poke was ok. The side unagi sauce definitely enhanced the flavors so that's good. Portions are great for the price. Place was super clean and all the workers wore gloves when handling everything. The two people in front of me both went straight to the fridge and grabbed like 7 bowls of the inari bombs so def gotta try that next time. Also seen couple guys order the lomi oio I think so that must be super good also.

Hands down best poke I had on the island. Not a local so obviously not valid but it seems many that have tried this place share the same sentiment. Heard a lot of good things about this place from friends back home and even our guide at Kauloa Ranch recommended this so we had to go. Service is pretty quick, everything is fresh on display and you pick what you want. It's grab n go style, and you can order by the pound or buy a one/two choice bowl with rice. Price can seem pretty hefty, but the amount of food you receive makes up for it. We ordered hawaiian style ahi and salmon poke and maaaaaan this was an experience. The fish quality was so insane, so buttery soft and melted in your mouth. The ahi itself is mixed with onion, limu, house shoyu, sesame oil, inamona, and chili flakes. You can taste each seasoning melting into the flesh. Perfect blend of sweet, salty, acidic, and spicy. The quality of salmon was so crazy that it could be mixed with anything and I wouldn't care. So fatty and fresh, but the furikaki mixed with it elevates it even more. Would 1000% come back here again if I had more time.

    Pau Hana on the Sandbar

My favorite poke on the Windward side. The staff is all super nice and knowledgeable, they put me on to my new favorites, Pau Hana and Garlic Tako.

Came back twice on my trip, was so good and will visit again! So many options to select from. Super friendly staff but my favorites were def the ahi options : lava flow and pau'hana. I came maybe around 2-3 pm each time and they run out of iniri bombs fast, but the staff did mention to try to come in the first 2 hours. I ended up going home and making my own iniri bombs by buying the tofu skins. Wish I had something like this back home. Other ones I tried were dynamite tako. They also provide samples, so if it's your first time and you are feeling a bit overwhelmed by the options def feel free to ask. I love the extra toppings on top of the poke. 10000/10 place for me.

    Sheila A.

Popped in because of the really good reviews. Glad I did. They had a selection of previously frozen ahi poke and fresh ahi poke. Previously frozen was $13.99 a pound and fresh was $28.99 a pound. There was also fresh kulolo made earlier that morning and it was $11.99 a pound. I bought a pound of the previously frozen spicy avocado poke, some pickled garlic, and I was ready to leave, but when I saw the free samples kulolo and tried it, I had to leave with a pound of that too. A person taking my order was very friendly and they were fast. The place is clean, but there's no place to sit down and eat there. It's strictly takeout. Lots of parking.

2 choice poke ( pa'ina and garlic shrimp) and spicy ahi inari bomb.
    Caitlin C.

OH. MY. GOD. Their Pa'ina poke (yuzu shoyu ahi with crab) IS SO GOOD. GO GET IT RIGHT NOW. The service was awesome they let us sample EVERYTHING. Like they kept pushing us to sample everything cuz we kept saying everything looked good and couldn't choose haha. Super good vibes and really helpful and informative. The spicy ahi inari bombs are ginormous too, highly recommend. So glad they have a second location closer to me, I'm begging ya'll to open a third location in town! PS get the chili pepper water it's not too spicy but it tastes gooooood

Despite the fact that it's a considerably trek for city-dwellers, factoring either traffic or bus schedules into the equation, or both if you're particularly unlucky, it's a journey always worth taking. Hit Hanauma Bay along the way and make it a day trip; the only way to top those dazzling sights is to follow them with a stellar meal. Boasting a menu composed of locally-sourced produce and entirely vegan options, you'll want to take a number of friends for the best experience. Heck, get out there and make some new friends! Join one of the long communal picnic tables out back and introduce yourself; there are no friendlier folks on earth than those living in paradise, as far as I've seen. That said, if there was only one dish to order, it would have to be the Oh WOW Laulau. Wow, indeed! No where else on earth have I found vegan laulau, let alone such a stellar rendition. Traditionally consisting of fatty pork and/or fish steamed in taro leaves, this version eschews the meat in favor of hearty root vegetables, adding creamy coconut into the mix for richness. Not to be overlooked is the Tofu Poke provided on the side, claiming to be spicy but really bearing just enough warmth to taste perfectly balanced. This was easily my personal favorite from the small sampling of dishes provided, but it's a close call when all the options are so good. Another front runner is the BBQ Portobello Sandwich. Mushrooms marinated in a bright, smoky barbecue sauce practically sing between two whole wheat buns. Coconut slaw tops off the assemblage with just the right amount of subtle sweetness to contrast the deeply savory flavors within. Simpler but no less spectacular dishes include the Roasted Veg Platter and Roasted Veg Avocado Sandwich. The way that the vegetables are treated with respect, from the moment they're harvested from nearby farms to the care taken when they reach the kitchen is evident with every bite. Cooked with care and proffered generously with each serving, even the basics make the trek out here worthwhile. I'm still trying to recreate that impossibly umami gravy offered on the side. It's one of those things that are so astoundingly, inconceivably delicious, it's impossible to deconstruct. Each entree promises an ideal amount of food; satisfying diners without over-stuffing them. That said, you'll still want to make room for dessert, especially when you see the towering bowls full of Outta This Swirled Soft Serve. Cool, naturally sweet spirals of banana-based soft serve are dressed to the nines with cacao sauce that hardens much like magic shell, granola and coconut flakes tumbling down the mountainous terrain, and fresh fruits that vary based on local availability- Expect papaya always to be in ample supply, based on the thriving papaya trees on premise. Each order is abundant enough to be a considered a full meal in and of itself.
