He explained they don't have chicken and waffles all the time because they make their gravy by letting it slow cooking it over course of a day. Sounds impressive. Still being rather cranky and half asleep I wanted to head back to the car to eat though the guy said we could take it in the bar and grab a drink. After the first few bites both my boyfriend and I were in love. The berries were incredibly fresh, the granola was solid, and the waffle was heavenly. My boyfriend's was just as good. The brat itself was on point. Cooked perfectly and the seasoning was phenomenal. It went surprisingly well with the waffle. I can't say brats and waffles is as good as chicken and waffles, but it's a great runner up. If I were in a better mood, or better yet drunk, I would be ranting and raving up and down the street.
