Great experience. Staff was so nice and patient. Explained the menu well. I liked the bbq portion better than the hot pot but both were good. They have a huge sauce bar so you can make any combination of sauces. They have some buffet style apps as well which was nice. The mushroom broth was good, I enjoyed it but I had to add spice to it. The short ribs were my favorite, then the bulgogi was a close second. Ordered with veggies- it was perfect. Should have remembered to get lettuce or the rice wraps to eat it with- they have both ! Sadly had the worst quality meat I've ever had. The consistency of both steak and chicken was like gummy worms. $160 for 4 people, zero drinks. They don't even offer alcohol. If there's a hell this would be my reoccurring dinner every night. read more

Fun spot to celebrate a birthday. I liked the BBQ more than the Hot Pot. Cost is $5 more for both. I wonder if they save money on Hot Pot because it comes out really fast? BBQ takes a bit to cook. They also have an appetizer bar and dessert bar. I suggest not filling up on those items. Go for the high-end proteins. Fun activity for a family or group! Great service. Explained everything well and got us everything we needed. Ask for extra napkins! We used many. The down fall was a dirty bathroom that was not stocked. read more

Coming here was definitely a fun "one and done" experience type of situation but that's not to say it can't become a favorite spot for others! The ambiance on the outside is very sleek which matches the inside a bit, but there's also very cool lighting on the inside that makes you feel like you're almost in a video game! As far as the service goes, there weren't fantastic instructions on how to use the grills but obviously figured it out or there would be a different type of review here haha. As far as the food goes...it was alright, maybe ordered the wrong thing for the first time going but it's not like it was bad by any means. Overall, not the place I'd be going back to, especially for the price. Like I said in the beginning though, this could be someone else's new favorite place so take my review as you will! read more

Kpot Finally got a chance to visit this place. We've been to the two near Detroit locations (novi and Sterling Heights)which are excellent. Not bad. Service was fine. Nice interior. I like the misc stuff. They have fried chicken! Really. Good! Egg rolls and sesame seeds balls, fries too. Great for kids. Not as big as the other two locations. Do they sing "happy birthday"? It was very quiet when we were there. Not sure. This place has an Asian manager. Overall good place. Try Korean Bbq and Hot pot if you've not had it before. Went there for the first time with my family. I'm honestly shocked by how poorly we were treated here. We arrived around 3 PM and stayed until about 5 PM. During our meal, the manager had the waiter come over and reminded us not to touch any items from dinner menu since we had paid the lunch price. It was very rude and insulting. I felt like I was being monitored after being told so. Will never go back to this restaurant again. The food with this price range and choices is not decent value. Would not recommend this place. I would say there are much more decent places with cheaper prices that you could enjoy the good food and excellent customer services in the Lansing area. read more

We absolutely love the K Pot in Ann Arbor, but this was far from that. Meat and soup quality was subpar comparatively. Much smaller sauce bar as well, We were sat in the bar area where the tables do not have ventilation hoods. I don't recommend that at all. The ice cream was horribly stale too. Women's bathroom had a sign off sheet to be cleaned and checked. It was marked just checked and absolutely disgusting. Would have been better off using a gas station bathroom. All in all we are used to such a great experience , and this location just doesn't compare in quality unfortunately. We now know to stick to Ann Arbor read more

The Korean Barbecue was overall quite good, and I have no complaints, except for the fact that the spicy salmon wasn't necessarily my thing and was a bit bland and flaky, but that may be personal preference over everything. The bulgogi was great, and I highly recommend it. I also enjoyed the spicy octopus and calamari IF cooked correctly. If you want to play safe, I'd suggest ordering things that you typically prepare at home. Other than the bulgogi, though, I wouldn't call anything particularly exceptional. Finally a legit place! Was craving hot pot and googled for one. KPot is open! Well, couldn't pass up to pay the extra $5 for both bbq and hot pot. It was worth it. There's: Appetizer bar - fried items. A kimchi bar Sauce bar - everything you'll need to make a good sauce Dessert bar BBQ My favorite are the galbi, spicy chicken, spicy pork, and pork belly. HOT POT Happy there are lots of options for the broth, veggies, noodles, meat, and tofu. Had the healthy herb soup. Loved it. After placing our order on the iPad, the items came out fast. When we went, they were still waiting for their alcohol license. Should be there any day. Daniel, our server, was attentive and super nice! The person who mentioned the the waiter comes often and it's stressful..... seriously? I bet that person is the type who will complain if there is a lack of service. Daniel came by often to check if we were doing ok and checking to see if we needed refills on our drinks. People complaining that an AYCE is expensive at $30.99 or for both $35.99. AYCE Korean BBQ is easy $45 (not including hot pot) and some up are up to $100. As all other AYCE places, you can't take food home if you don't finish it. Better to pace yourself and order a little at a time and then order more. Don't waste food, that's how prices goes up! read more

Took my son and his wife there for his birthday, it was a interesting way to eat, by cooking your own food, meat and seafood, we got a little ahead of ourselves by losing track of the meats we were cooking and eating. I think it was very good for me as you really slowed down your eating because of conversation while cooking. We all had both barbecue and hot pot, I think we all decided that the next time we would just have the hot pot, but you had to try them both. I'd go back today if I could but I live about 4 hours away. Service was excellent, we had watched some videos so we weren't completely in the dark about preparing our food but our server helped us get started. You can eat all you want but can't take left overs and will be charged extra if can't eat what you order. They tried to get you out within an hour and the employees are constantly making rounds and monitoring how long you have been there.
