Fast forward to Friday, and I returned with the same hopeful appetite. Service was excellent once again. A friendly, attentive server named Emily made the dining room feel welcoming and seamless, whispering that she was on hand to guide the experience with a practiced, patient touch. Today, however, the Tum Yum broth didn't carry the same magic. It fell a touch flat, and the refill did little to lift it back to its former glory. It's a reminder that, in hot pot, the broth is the stage and the broth-maker is half the show. To the management: consider keeping the same Monday Tum Yum maestro on rotation. That Monday broth had the kind of character that reminded me of the best Yum Yum I ever tasted in Orlando--bright, zesty, and with enough depth to carry the pot through multiple rounds of dipping and tasting. Despite the dip in broth provenance, I'll return--because I miss that Tum Yum and the overall comfort of KPOT's atmosphere. When the broth shines, it turns a meal into a memorable investigation of balance, spice, and umami. Notes for future visits: If possible, maintain consistency by having the same broth chef for Tum Yum on Mondays to preserve flavor profile. A small adjustment to the broth's spice level and citrus brightness could reclaim the magic even on Fridays. Happy with this spot! It's very large & has its own self service sides / sauce bar which is pretty well stocked. I am also a fan of the ipad ordering system. No longer have to wait for server to come around to make more orders, big improvement. The meat was good quality & I also liked the sides I tried (radish, kimchi). Tomato broth had a decently strong flavor and they do free refills. I like how they do lunch pricing as well! Probably doesn't need to be said but the peanut sauce is indeed just peanut sauce so make sure to add other stuff to make it taste like standard hotpot sauce. read more

We've been here before and previously had good food and service, but tonight was the complete opposite. The beef brisket, pork belly, and beef tongue were very poor quality. The slices were cut far too thick and large, making the meat extremely tough and chewy. We literally could not chew some of the pieces and had to swallow them whole. We politely asked if the meat could be sliced thinner so it would actually be edible, but were told they "couldn't slice it any thinner" and that was basically the end of the conversation. The manager, Gabe, was not accommodating at all. He listened to our concerns but did nothing to resolve them. Instead, he dismissed the issue by saying he had eaten the meat earlier and thought it was fine. For a Friday night family dinner at $34.99 per person, this was a terrible experience. We left disappointed and unable to enjoy our meal. Between the poor meat quality and the lack of customer service, we will not be returning. Management needs to take customer feedback seriously and improve both quality control and service if they want customers to come back. read more

Simply delightful. We tried out both bbq and hot pot. My induction burner failed to bring my pot to a boil, but all others at the table worked perfectly. We were lucky to go on a Thursday so it wasn't much of a wait. Idk if it's for this restaurant or another store in the area but parking was pumping. We had to circle a couple times and parked pretty far. So convenient being able to order off the iPad. Here's a thing to note, you have to wait a couple of minutes before being able to place another order. I put in my order then passed the iPad and we had to wait. So you have to put everyone at the same time. The food was fabulous. All you can eat so you can't complain with the price. It's a pretty large restaurant so tables are large and has a lot of space. The service was great, always came to check in on us and make sure we had broth and a clean fry top. Need to find more of this place cause I would love to eat here again lol read more

I find it interesting that the Manager responds to every review except for mine, and suddenly there's a whole bunch of fake reviews added. Kind of crazy to buy good reviews in order to compensate for the bad one. But I digress... My fiancé and I eat here often and have even brought several of our friends and family here as well, due to how much we love it. We consider ourselves pretty experienced which is why tonight's experience was so shocking and disappointing. During dinner, our grill suddenly caught fire and literally flared up/exploded while we were cooking. We never adjusted the heat or used the grill improperly, everything was left exactly as it had been set by staff. Based on what happened, we genuinely believe the grease trap had not been cleaned properly or there was a malfunction with the gas. We eat Korean BBQ weekly and have never seen anything like this happen before- it was terrifying. The fire happened twice. Half of my face was burned, and my fiancé's neck was also burned in the incident. It was serious enough that multiple nearby guests came over to ask if we were okay, along with our server running over to take control of the fire. Thankfully, our waiter handled the situation as best as he could. He was apologetic, attentive, and clearly concerned for us throughout the entire ordeal. What made this experience so upsetting was not just the fire itself, but the complete lack of concern from management. Despite knowing customers had been burned, the manager never once came to our table to check on us, apologize, or ask if we needed medical attention. When our waiter asked if anything could be done for us, management only offered a small 10% discount and still never acknowledged the situation personally. To be clear, we were not expecting a free meal or trying to take advantage of the situation. We understand that freak accidents can happen. What disappointed us most was the lack of empathy, accountability, and basic human concern after a dangerous incident that was completely outside of our control. Our appetite was completely lost due to the pain we were experiencing and we no longer felt it was safe to continue. We've always enjoyed coming here, which makes this even harder to write, but customer safety and proper grill maintenance should be taken seriously and when something does go wrong, management should care enough to at least check on the people who were hurt. read more

Wow! Highly recommend! Food- great variety and delicious ingredients. Awesome selection for both the bbq and hot pot ingredients. They have a good sauce bar for the hot pot and side dish bar as well. Our meat selections came out fast. We had a table of 5 people. I wish there were 2 grills for table instead of 1 because it slowed down the amount of food we could cook and eat. Thankfully we also got the hot pot which helped cook our food faster but we were limited in how much bbq we could ear because there was only one grill Ambiance- really great for groups. Especially birthdays!! They have a great birthday celebration song and amazing deal if you bring 4 people! The wait time can be long so plan ahead and plan to wait for a bit. My favorite restaurant. The food is stellar from the quality of the meats and vegetables to the freshness of the seafood and the huge array of sauces and sides. Their soup options for hot pot are delicious (they have gluten free broth). Kimchi quality can vary at restaurants but Kpot's is delicious. Their sauces are fantastic and we love to make combinations of them. The service is almost always awesome. There have been a few times where we've had to wait a long time to order a new drink, ask for something, check on an order, or get the check. Overall we're happy though, and we love Bryan, Aidan, and the handful of servers and hostesses who recognize us when we come in and welcome us back. The music is great, the interior is super aesthetically pleasing, the ordering system is super easy and efficient most of the time, and it's a lot of fun to bring friends. My son wanted to celebrate his 21st birthday with some Korean BBQ. We decided to go to KPOT. It was our first time here and glad we went. The restaurant has both Korean BBQ and Hot Pot. You can select either or both. We've been to a few Korean BBQ restaurants, but this restaurant was unique to us. There is a salad bar included with the meal. The salad bar has the usual kimchi sides, but there was also other sides like fries, shrimp, and some other options. The other unique thing is you order your meats through a tablet. When you're ready for more food you don't have to wait. There is also a bar area with a few seats if you want to have a drink while you wait. The customer service was amazing. We told our server it was my son's birthday and they came out to sing happy birthday. My only complaint is I wish we could join a wait list online. This is in all you can eat Korean barbecue and hot pot place the Korean barbecue does not come with all the traditional sides that you usually get with Korean barbecue, which was a little sad but they do have a salad bar that you can go and get some sides but you're not gonna see the traditional Korean barbecue sides here the hot pot was really good. I wish I could go back and just get hot pot and not do the Korean barbecue and go to a different place with Korean barbecue with the traditional sides, regardless of the sides not being there we still had a great time we enjoyed ourselves and we left stuffed. The servers are really kind and they work as a team, which I appreciate appreciatedand they all seem really happy to be there. We'll be back again. I wish I could give KPOT more than 5 stars. We were there for lunch on a Friday and the place was busy, but we were seated right away. It took us few minutes to get situated and our waitress, Kam explained everything to us. We were bit overwhelmed because we wanted to do both bbq and hotpot. Once we got going, it was like clockwork. You have option to do bbq or hotpot or both but everyone at the table has to decide together. Lunch is cheaper because some premium meat options were only available at dinner prices. They had self serve sides bar along with sauce bar. Their kimchi was delicious and very authentic. The dessert bar also did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, delicious, kept refreshed and clean. The meat selection was also spot on. Fresh and thinly sliced so it could be used in either the bbq or the hotpot. The marinated meats were slightly on the sweeter side so if you're avoiding sugar, go for non marinated meats. There were also additional options for the hotpot including seafood, fish/meat balls, veggies, noodles, mushrooms and veggies. KPOT has service figured out. We constantly had our waitress around to help us including swapping out the grills and clearing used dishes. Also, ordering was very easy and fast. Food came out super fast. I had an absolutely wonderful lunch the other day with a couple girlfriends of mine. Oh let me just say Nina was an absolute joy. I've never done hot pot or Korean bbq before so having someone truly quite interested in making sure we understood the process was a refreshing moment for us. She's one of those people you just want to sit down at the table with you! The food was quite good. I really recommend the dinner menu as the lunch didn't have anything quite my tastes. The prices are quite reasonable considering the portions, portions being your entire appetite. There was this green little sweet drink Nina absolutely sold me on for Halloween as I was feeling sorta festive. Wasn't my friends cup of tea ‍but it was definitely my drink of the night!! Haha. I'd recommend also getting there a bit earlier in the day so you can enjoy the lunch wait times! (Very short) but you can still get the dinner menu. Nina sold me on it when she said short ribs. I think just the whole concept of it all is great and I hope to be in again sometime soon for some more good service and a good meal read more

Came for my daughter's birthday on a Sunday around 6:30pm. Really busy so we jumped on the waitlist and shopped around the plaza to kill time. Received the ready text after an hour. Once we were sat down, our server explained the ordering process since it was our first time. We decided on doing the bbq and hot pot option. Everyone in your party will have to choose the same option. If ordering the hot pot option, you order your broth of choice with your server and everything else will be ordered from the tablet. Items are limited to 15 choices at a time with a 5 min wait in-between order sets. Food orders came out pretty quickly. Food quality of meats/seafood/noodles/etc were very decent! The self-serve bar had plenty of sauce options and additions. The area is also home to fried rice, fried chicken wings, fries, dumplings, egg rolls, kimchi, sesame balls, edamame, fruit, and various veggies. We went a bit crazy ordering off the tablet and I feel we still didn't order even half of the available options! Overall, this has become high up on my list for AYCE Korean bbq/hot pot due to the variety and quality of options, a good sauce bar, and amazing service! Our server (Jenny) was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of! She made certain to frequently change out our grill as well. Let me say this: what happened today nobody could have predicted that. Wifi AND AC went down in the restaurant today. Im not deducting a star for that. Why is the wifi important? Because their ordering and pay (POS) systems were internet based. What I am deducting a star for is they didn't tell anyone newly seated or anyone that called the restaurant . Christo was good. I think he did exceptional IF it was a normal service. But when the AC is down (it was down after we sat down), those drink refills are critical. He had a normal pace. But given the extra circumstances, the service could have been more accommodating. In addition, they also have two buffet station where you can get fried rice, chicken wings, fruits, desserts, and even an ice cream cooler. This was definitely a great touch to the all you can eat. Everything tasted great. Only improvement I recommend for the business is the broth. The broth came salty. I got the chicken broth one but my other friends all agree that their broths were salty too. Even after adding more broth. After sitting and eating for an hour, I had to pour my water in the broth because all the water was evaporating and leaving all the salt behind lol. Broth was all great. Definitely my go-to hot pot place from now on! Kpot just opened 5/6/25 and is a Korean bbq/hot pot place in one. We had Jake as our server, and he was extremely attentive and friendly. He had great recommendations and never left our drinks more than half empty. I'm SO happy we finally have a hot pot place with herbal broth as an option (think Happy Lamb in Seattle, or Little Sheep in California). They also have a very comprehensive sauce and topping bar, and my favorite sacha sauce (Chinese barbecue sauce) is available here!! Meats are perfectly cut and your choices of protein (including seafood, red meats) are plentiful. My favorites include the tongue, pork belly, snow crab, bean curd sheets, enoki mushrooms, and ribeye. You input your order via the tabletop iPad and the runner brings it right out. We decided to also do kbbq as we wanted to taste both, and while it was great, it was a lot to eat. Value is fantastic. Prices are $22 Lunch, $32 Dinner M-F, with dinner pricing all weekend for either option. If you want to have both options, it's only $5 more. This is a fantastic value considering Jin Shabu will run you $36 with less options. Korean bbq will run you about $30 as well at Manna and Gen. Ambiance is spacious and modern, with many booths and tables, great for both small and large parties. The fruits (watermelon and honeydew) were a perfect way to finish our meal. read more
