I got the pad see ew with thai bbq pork and my friends got the pad thai with chicken. I thought the pad thai was decent, but I was very impressed with the pad see ew here! Portions are pretty decent as well (as it should given the price point). We also got thai tea which they have in these cute bear shaped bottles. I thought it was a bit too sweet, but we all still enjoyed it as a treat. The kind lady also was able to give me two different chili paste sauces to try when I was asked for it which was nicely appreciated. Located inside Rodeo 39, and for some reason I thought dogs were allowed inside... apparently not, so that was my bad lol. What initially caught my attention was the super cute bear logo, and honestly, I'm always down for Thai food, especially when I show up absolutely starving and ready to inhale everything. We got the fried rice with steak, which I think was an extra $8, which felt a little steep for the add-on, but the portion was solid. We also got the pad see ew with max spice, and the server did the whole "are you sure?" warning, which immediately made me nervous because I was expecting my life to flash before my eyes. But honestly? It was more like Buldak noodle spicy. Definitely a good kick, enough to make you feel it, but not the unbearable, regret-your-life kind of spicy I had mentally prepared for. Kra-Pow Thai Eatery is a hidden gem in Stanton. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was really delicious and tasted super fresh. Great flavor and a good portion. The service was awesome, the lady working there was super helpful and kind. We had a little wait, and she apologized and even gave us some bread on the house, which was honestly really good. We wanted to try this Thai restaurant at Rodeo 39. We ordered the Pad Thai, Kra Pow with beef (medium heat) and Sticky Mango Rice. Both the entrees were really good. The sticky rice needs to have more coconut sauce and the rice needs to be cooked a little bit more. I suggest champagne mangoes from the Filipino store as it is sweeter than the mango selected. Krapow is a Thai restaurant located within Rodeo 39 in Stanton. I came here on a Monday for lunch and ordered their Krapow Bowl with chicken and a fried egg. The service was quick and friendly. Only complaint is they only cooked one side of the meat I could've gotten sick (raw / uncooked ) if I didn't catch this. Solid Thai spot inside Rodeo 39! We were surprised to see them take over the old Kra Z Laotian spot last year. We have been meaning to give Kra-Pow a try and finally got to a few days ago! What we ordered: 1. Papaya Salad - good flavor and medium spice is pretty spicy! 2. Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl - love the grilled chicken with the sauces. Very savory. 3. Tom Yum Pasta - surprisingly delicious! Definitely a wild card, but has all of the Tom Yum flavors paired with bouncy pasta noodles. 4. Ground Beef Kra-Pow Bowl - simple but so good! The ground beef had a nice char and isn't overly greasy. It pairs perfectly with the rice. 5. Pad See Ew - a classic. You can't go wrong with this. Such delicious smoky flavor to the chicken and the flat noodles are nice and saucy. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of food. The prices were very reasonable too. They definitely understand the meaning of spice here, which is amazing. I'm usually underwhelmed by "spicy" dishes, even at other Thai restaurants, but this place delivers the spice. I ordered the Padseeeew (why don't they use spaces between words for this menu item? Lol) with chicken at a spice level of 4 (out of 5). It was disappointing they did not have skirt steak available (which I originally wanted) shortly after opening on a Friday near lunchtime, but so it goes. The cashier was friendly and efficient. There was a line of about 8 people ahead of me, but she knocked out their orders quickly. After she told me skirt steak was out of stock, I asked for a recommendation, and she said chicken is the most popular (side note: I wonder if this is because it's the cheapest protein option along with tofu). The food came out about 20 min after I ordered, and it was piping hot, so obviously freshly made. They apologized for the wait, which I appreciated. I sat down at a table and started to dig in. My first impressions: great wok hei and generous amounts of chicken and veg. The Chinese broccoli was sometimes inconsistently cut, with big leafy pieces here and there. And the noodles themselves were also broken into small bite-sized pieces instead of being intact strands. As for the protein, the chicken had a "gamey" (for lack of a better word) quality to it. Like it tasted strongly of chicken (in an unpleasant way) instead of having a neutral or marinated flavor or something. That was off-putting to me. The spice came through from the first bite. It was almost too spicy (even though I'm a hot sauce fiend), but that was on me for choosing such a high spice level. I'd describe it as a bit spicier than El Yucateco XXXtra Hot Chile Habanero sauce. Compared to other pad see ew dishes, this one leaned more savory than sweet. I couldn't detect much sweetness at all, but that could've been due to the spice masking it. The food was definitely filling, and I was satiated for many hours later. I do want to try the skirt steak at some point, but perhaps with fried rice or a different dish. read more

This review is just for one of their drinks. Not for the food because I didn't try any during this visit. We went on a Thursday night. Was not busy at all. I wanted boba, but there was nothing inside rodeo 39. Saw people with the cute bear drinks, so I went to find where they came from. I ended up getting the strawberry lime (since it wasn't on the menu and sounded really refreshing). I would not get again. Not flavorful. Not sure if they put ice in the containers prior, but my drink had no ice in it and tasted "watered down." It was at a great price point since it was just $6 plus tax, but yea. Hubby and I came here for a lunch date. My husband got the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and I got the Chef's special (seafood rice) but sub noodles. We got to talk to the chef and we asked if we could have it with noodles instead of rice and he was so so nice saying that yes we could have it with noodles but he has never made it that way before. Unexpectedly yummy! Stopped by Rodeo 39 because my boyfriend wanted pho and I wanted other options. I decided to get the green curry with chicken and spice level 2. The portion is bigger than I expected. Curry was really flavorful and definitely had a kick to it. I loved that the chicken is grilled and sliced thinly. You can see the grill marks on the chicken. In rodeo 39 hang a left from the coffee here and there in the middle. Nice flavor here. Nice staff, order, wait and take to go. Ask for Thai chilies or sauce. Great portions here which is why I often opt for Thai. Good food, of a higher food quality than most average places. read more

Okay so unfortunately I didn't get pics because I was starving on my lunch break. However, the employees are super helpful and suggested the basil fried rice and I had to try the pad Thai. Both dishes are some of the best I've ever tried. I'm no expert when it comes to Thai food but I do love Thai food and this is hands down one of my favorite new places. I will say they asked if I wanted it spicy ranging from 1-5 and i chose level 2. I like mild spicy food so I would probably ask for a 0.5 spicy or level one next time . Level 2 was spicy but the food was so good I had to keep eating ! Both employees asked if there was anything else needed while I was eating and it made it the experience better. They care that you enjoy the food. Needless to say, this place is a good place to eat for a Thai craving ! read more

I wish I tried Kra-Pow sooner! I've been going to Cravings for a while (now 99 Ranch) but never made my way to this Thai restaurant. So glad I finally did. During my first visit I decided to try something unique and went for the Tom Yum Pasta. It was spicy, tangy and savory - delicious! I recommend getting this if you're looking for a fresh spin on the Tom Yum flavor. It also came with a generous serving of shrimp that was plump and perfectly cooked. My second time here I got my favorite Thai dish, Pad Kee Mao (aka Drunken Noodle). I'm a fan of the one they make here! It has a ton of wok hei flavor that absolutely elevates the dish. This is probably my go-to spot for Pad Kee Mao going forward. That's of course, as long as Kra-Pow sticks around...I've seen many good restaurants leave the "Cravings" food hall which is very unfortunate. I can't imagine it's the food as they were delicious spots IMO. I encourage Thai food fans to check this place out. They have great, quality food. I reach to Janie at the register to ask how I could turn down the heat once I got it home and to my delight and surprise, she took it back to the chef and brought me back an entirely new order, spicy hot..but not as scorching, saying "it's your first time here and we want you to have a good experience!". We enjoyed two terrific dishes: Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp (5/5 $20) and Tomyum Pasta with Shrimp (5/5 $18). For beverage, we each had a Thai Tea (4/5 $6 each), which came as a surprise in a pre-packaged plastic bottle. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table when its ready. Bit on the pricey side but a welcomed addition to the 99 ranch food court. A few days before, I came in just to try their pandan brick toast which I really enjoyed. That one little taste brought me back for a full on dinner. Food took a little bit but the staff was very nice. We got the garlic noodles, skirt steak, pad see ewe, cauliflower, tater tots... I had a very disappointing experience here. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and clearly asked for zero spice. When I tasted it, the dish was extremely spicy. It was completely not what I requested and was inedible for me. I brought it back to the cashier to address the issue. The young man at the counter was polite and professional, but the manager or owner in the back gave me an excuse that made no sense. She told me the dish is spicy by default because it contains yellow curry. If that is the case, it should have been explained at the time of ordering, especially when I asked for no spice. I have ordered pineapple fried rice from many Thai restaurants and it has never come spicy by default. Her explanation felt dismissive and untrue. The manager/owner's attitude was the final red flag for me. Instead of taking responsibility or offering any kind of solution, she simply brushed me off. That kind of treatment shows a complete lack of respect for customers. After this experience, I am completely done with this restaurant. read more
