It's been a long time, Chaba Thai! :) Food: As good as I remember it, the flavors were proper and the heat was right! My son is a curmudgeon of Thai Fried Rice and thought his dish was perfect! Service: Quick and friendly, a family owned affair, so everyone is always happy to help. Ambiance: Tucked in a quiet corner of the shopping center, perfect for an afternoon sit down, with about 10 or so tables. Eat in or take out, I promise you won't be let down. :)

It had no chance. Egg rolls. Shrimp Tom Yum and Pad Se Yew.

It was very good. Tastes home made, only thing missing is dessert. Service was good. Seems family run.

Great Thai spot! It's located in the corner of a plaza. The restaurant isn't too big, but there's a few tables. They offer a lunch special on weekdays. They have a big menu with different soups, noodles, rice, and appetizers. I got the Thai fried rice and the pad see ew. The fried rice portion was huge! Good thing I split with my friend. The pad see ew noodles and flavors were delicious and packed with beef and broccoli. The servers were friendly, but not too attentive. I'd say this is a pretty nice Thai spot with reasonable price!

Our family #1 thai food place in the area! This is a small mom and pop thai restaurant, i think the family runs it. You can feel the care and heart that they put into their dishes, almost like home cooked meals. We absolutely enjoy their thai fried rice, pad see yew, yum woon sen.... Spicy catfish and of course the tom kha soup... just thinking of those makes me hungry lol Service is nice but could be a bit busy during lunch and dinner hours, but that's a good sign, who wants to go to an empty restaurant anyway ;)

Pad see ew (lunch special) so good!!

A hidden gem! Cozy and unassuming but very delicious and affordable. The lunch special price is such a good deal. I even had leftover to eat for dinner! Usually when I get pad see we at other places, it's kinda mid. But i thought the one here was very delicious! My husband got pad Thai and said to make it VERY spicy and they delivered... to the point where it was too spicy. And his spice tolerance is extremely high. So if you're going to ask for different level of spice, beware! The eggrolls were also very good! Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely return when I stop by Cerritos to get TP Tea!

I order takeout from here every once in a while and it always hits the spot. My dad loves the ground pork and I enjoy the pad see ew. Service for pickup is quick as well!

Had lunch here the other day with a couple friends, solid experience. We kept it simple with their Thai fried rice, three different plates of it, and a side order of orange chicken. If the chicken had a little more crisp to it, for sure it would likely be the best orange chicken around. The fried rice came on plates capable of feeding two, very generous portions. The two waiters who assisted us during our dine-in experience were phenomenal! Very friendly, checked up on every table regularly, and kept an efficient flow of service from the kitchen to dining room. Definitely an old school restaurant but well kept, gives a comfortable and quiet family setting. If I am not mistaken, this is the longest standing facility of this little Cypress complex.

I have found my new favorite Thai restaurant! Chaba hits all the marks in-terms of what it takes to be a favorite. A small mom-and-pop operation, friendly service and fresh, tasty food. I've had both their green curry and their Pad Kee Mao. Both were delicious. What makes the difference? Fresh, crisp vegetables, and food that comes to you hot. Watch the spice levels though. I like really spicy, and the medium heat level was just right. Simple, appropriate atmosphere, easy parking and reasonable prices completed my experience. Looking forward to future visits and more menu picks!

We ordered the Papaya Salad, Garlic Chicken Rolls and their Beef Jerky Special. We had a lovely conversation with the owner and she gave us special instructions on how to eat everything, such as eating the jerky with a small ball of sticky rice and sauce, followed by a mouthful of papaya salad as a palate cleanser--We followed those instructions to a T and it was truly enjoyable! For impressions of each Entree: The Papaya Salad is incredible, we ordered it with a mild spice level sauce. It's light, flavorful and refreshing and serves as a perfect palate cleanser if you order it with another item, but having it on its own is perfectly fine as well. The Garlic Chicken Roll was fantastic, crispy roll and tender chicken on the inside. It came with a sweet dipping sauce that had a flavor we weren't expecting but a nice surprise. The Beef Jerky Special: I absolutely love the idea of the beef jerky with a crispy-charred outer shell. My critique would be to dial back the charred-ness a little bit so that it doesn't dominate the center flavor. It goes perfectly well with the sticky rice and the sauce it comes with is really nice. Really great establishment with great customer service, I look forward to visiting again!

The menu has been simplified and the number of dishes has dropped dramatically. The prices have gone up, but that's the norm nowadays. Quantity is about average. I wouldn't say they're big portions or small portions, just enough. I ordered several dishes. I ordered the Ong choi, the chicken Pad See, but ended up getting a beef Pad See instead. A garlic pork dish which was tough and dry and a panang beef curry. The Ong Choi was tasty with what looked like peanuts or maybe beans as toppings. The Pad Su was a touch on the sweet side, but the curry on the panang beef is something I would put on top of white rice to add extra oomph. The service was quick and besides a little mistake in the ordering (no biggie) everything was fine. I do like the new decorations, but there is a weird smell as you enter the restaurant like a leaking gas line. Sit near the rear and you won't smell it at all.

It was so good, I've recommended it multiple times over the years. Last night's experience was not what I so fondly remembered. We had the Ong Choy, the Beef Panang, Beef Pad Seew and the Pepper Garlic Pork. The meat in the Pad Seew was oddly cold compared to the sauce, same for the pork dish. And the meat was tough, leaving the impression it had been re-heated and tossed with new sauce. The Beef Panang was tasty but with very little meat to spare, particularly for a dish that costs $20. The only saving grace was the Ong Choy, overcooked but very tasty. Sadly, we don't think we'll be returning. I'm giving it 3 stars because I remember the quality and I am hoping it's was a one-off experience.

We also had the tom yum noodle soup and larb salad. Upon looking at the larb salad, you can already tell that it was going to be salty, as other larb salad is not usually that saucy. And sure enough, the larb salad was salty, as well as the tom yum noodle soup. Restaurant itself was relatively small, it had simple decor, parking was easy, and staff were attentive and the overall prices were reasonable. The sauce it came with was good, but a bit hard to dip in. This paired well with the sticky rice. -Crispy Fried Rice (Nam Kao Tod): Super unique dish! I liked folding the crispy rice with sour pork bits into the lettuce wraps which was fresh, crispy, and texture heaven.
