We enjoyed their Yellow Curry, Chef's Basil Chicken Wings, and Chicken Teriyaki with steamed vegetables and white rice. Very generous portions with their lunch specials! The spiciness level is authentic so be careful when ordering. The curries were on point. The pad thai is a tad on the sweet side, compared to other places I usually frequent. Their lunch specials are a fantastic deal and comes with a salad. They also packaged the to-go orders very well. As mentioned generous portions--the price was absolutely fair. The egg rolls were massive and traveled well in the car, they stood hot, were crunchy, and the dipping sauce was perfect, tangy and sweet. Thai beef salad was medium spicy, had I ordered spicy level it may have been a little too much, medium was just right for me. Tender beef, crunchy lettuce and veggies. The salad was delightful! Great Thai spot! It's located in the corner of a plaza. The restaurant isn't too big, but there's a few tables. They offer a lunch special on weekdays. They have a big menu with different soups, noodles, rice, and appetizers. I got the Thai fried rice and the pad see ew. The fried rice portion was huge! Good thing I split with my friend. Our family #1 thai food place in the area! This is a small mom and pop thai restaurant, i think the family runs it. You can feel the care and heart that they put into their dishes, almost like home cooked meals. We absolutely enjoy their thai fried rice, pad see yew, yum woon sen.... A hidden gem! Cozy and unassuming but very delicious and affordable. The lunch special price is such a good deal. I even had leftover to eat for dinner! Usually when I get pad see we at other places, it's kinda mid. But i thought the one here was very delicious! My husband got pad Thai and said to make it VERY spicy and they delivered... to the point where it was too spicy. And his spice tolerance is extremely high. Chana's customer service is amazing. I'm always weary when I have to call an order in but they're always friendly and the order is always accurate. It's a nice atmosphere inside. It seems like most people order for pick up most of the time so you won't have an issue finding a table. My favorite here is the Panang curry. My 6yr old LOVES the shrimp eggrolls. If the chicken had a little more crisp to it, for sure it would likely be the best orange chicken around. The fried rice came on plates capable of feeding two, very generous portions. The two waiters who assisted us during our dine-in experience were phenomenal! Very friendly, checked up on every table regularly, and kept an efficient flow of service from the kitchen to dining room. I have found my new favorite Thai restaurant! Chaba hits all the marks in-terms of what it takes to be a favorite. A small mom-and-pop operation, friendly service and fresh, tasty food. I've had both their green curry and their Pad Kee Mao. Both were delicious. What makes the difference? Fresh, crisp vegetables, and food that comes to you hot. Watch the spice levels though. I like really spicy, and the medium heat level was just right. Simple, appropriate atmosphere, easy parking and reasonable prices completed my experience. They came out sizzling and we devoured them. Crispy Spring Rolls - golden perfection. Super crunchy on the outside and filled with savory veggies on the inside. Came with a tangy sweet chili dipping sauce and fresh orange slices on the side. A solid classic. Chicken Fried Rice - No photo because we were too hungry and inhaled it the second it hit the table. Perfectly seasoned, not greasy, and had that yummy smoky wok flavor. Thai Iced Tea - super creamy, perfectly sweet, and served in big frosty mugs. Honestly, I'd come back just for this alone. So refreshing and satisfying. The service was just as good as the food. Our server was friendly, helpful, and really patient while we were trying to remember what we had seen on the menu before. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Oh, and don't forget to ask for some peanut sauce. It just makes everything taste better! And here's the thing. About 30 minutes into our meal, the entire restaurant filled up. Like, packed. Always a good sign when locals show up like that. It's casual, cozy, and has tons of parking ( yes please). I was pleasantly surprised by Chaba. It was in a strip mall tucked away in the corner, and I really just wanted Pineapple fried rice so we came in. We get Pineapple Fried Rice, Panang Curry, and the Spicy Basil Wings. The Pineapple Fried Rice was solid, the Curry actually was spicy, and the wings were excellent. Probably the highlight of the meal for us. The curry was delicious and paired wonderfully with the rice. Funny enough, the pineapple fried rice is probably the dish I would drop on our next visit so we can try something else. The place had a nice older family restaurant vibe. The staff were attentive, maybe not the most friendly, but also took care of us well. The menu has most of the things you'd expect in a thai place. The food took a little time to come out, enough to know they were preparing it, but not so much to wonder what was taking so long. This is probably going to be one of our regular Thai places and I think it's an excellent place to try if you're in the neighborhood. read more
