You can definitely get better elsewhere. Staff is odd and not accommodating if you arrive an hour before close. Corn tasted like it had been heated in the microwave and was rubbery. They have bottled drinks and no cups with ice available. I guess the perk to this place as that it's BYOB if you want. They started to mop 30 minutes before they were due to close and put the chairs. OMG this place EXCEEDED my expectations. So, I recently relocated from Atlanta to Houston and live in the suburbs. I was on Yelp looking for a place near me (fingers crossed) for crab boil for a reasonable price and where I didn't have to build my own boil by adding all the things that make a boil. There are lots of places here like that. So, I found Krab Kingz and they have boils where you have an option on the flavors. I chose Cajun and when I got it home, not only was it flavorful, it was PLENTIFUL!!! Everything that it came with was deeeelish!!! My favorite spot now and well worth the 12-mile drive. The food is amazing, but the service sucks. Went there last night at 8:15 pm, restaurant closed at 9pm, and they would not let us order the pasta, nor would they let us eat in the restaurant. There is nothing posted that says the inside dinning closes at 8:15 pm, but that's what we were told. Then I paid for Cajun butter and it wasn't included in my order. I can't in good conscience give this place 1 star since I didn't stay long enough to actually try the food. On Sunday, I stopped in here for lunch. They have a large, confusing menu posted to the wall behind the cashier. They had several combo's listed, all of which were seemingly very pricey. I get the fact that this is crab and shrimp, and crab and shrimp are expensive, but I was just one guy on a lazy Sunday lunch, on no real special occasion, so I wasn't looking to spend $49 bucks on a meal that I would probably eat and still leave hungry. I decided on the basic Combo #1. 1 King crab cluster, 10 shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. It was listed as $19.99. They don't have a fountain or any Diet drinks, so I also ordered a bottle of water. The cashier stated, "Ok, that will be $54.55.". SAY WHAT?? NOWHERE on any of the menu's, walls, dry erase boards, etc was it stated that the #1 combo and the 4 others below it were only that price Monday - Friday from 11am-2pm. The cashier apologized and said that they "really should have that posted". I was dumbfounded. $55 for LUNCH for one?? This isn't even a nice restaurant. Its a walk-up and order joint in a shopping center. The lady behind me, once she heard the total that was given me for my order, turned around and said "No freaking way", and left with me as I turned around to walk out. No concesssions were made. No attempt whatsoever to offer a more affordable option was given. They lost two customers at the same time and the general attitude from the cashier was "oh well". Very frustrating experience, and I don't think that I'm being especially unreasonable in not wanting to spend $55 on a lazy Sunday lunch for one, at a place that seemingly didn't care one way or the other whether they got my business or not. read more

This was an excellent find close to home. The Snow crab was very good with just the right mount of seasoning. (We did Cajun seasoning). Also, there were a very generous amount of shrimp and potatoes. The sausage and corn were delicious and the garlic butter set the entire meal off right!! We will definitely go back! I want to try the crawfish next time! They drowned the food in the sauce. The amount of butter and sauce was overwhelming. The Cajun seating was bland. They don't want you to dine in as evident by the most uncomfortable chairs EVER. The service was mediocre, our food came out sporadically and we had to request a seafood cracker even though we ordered crab. We won't go back.
