I rounded up this review from 2.5 stars. Kraft Vermicelli is a cute, clean place in Old Town Camarillo, w an interesting Vietnamese menu (see attached photo) that mostly features your choice of one base like rice, vermicelli, spring rolls or buns (if you're lucky) that come with w your choice of either 2 or 3 very scant portions of protein (beef/pork/chicken/shrimp or egg rolls and 3 plant-based options) and choice of toppings such as cucumber, pickled carrots, jalapeños, spring lettuce, sprouts, sesame seeds, and traditional sauces. Hot tip: My wife included spring salad, which helps make the plate look more substantial. There is also a large selection of crafty drinks that my kids enjoyed. It was way too easy to spend $80 for 4 and walk away hungry. Nice people work at the restaurant and they have tasty food, but unless you order the egg rolls, you will end up with less than 1/4 pound of protein on your plate (about the same amount used to fill their spring rolls. Fortunately the rice and vermicelli is a relatively normal-sized portion. This is not a full service restaurant. It's a counter which you return to when they call your number. Of course, they ask for the tip BEFORE you're served, like so many places these days. There is very tight seating for about 12 inside. Most of the seating is outside. The food tasted good, but the overall value is not good, even by today's standards. In retrospect, I wish I had snapped a photo to show how small the portions of protein are. I also wish had waited until AFTER I ate to leave a tip. I was so excited about a new place in old town, I broke my own cardinal rule against early tipping. I'd probably return just to get my kids some of their drinks. There is a wide selection, that looked interesting and seemed fairly priced. The drink menus fills the opposite side of the lunch menu. Note: A lot of people asked for the rolls, which had sold out within 30 minutes of opening the Sunday afternoon we visited. There are 2 other Vietnamese restaurants in Camarillo that are a much better value (Love Pho and More and Basil Mint) read more

My partner and I went during their soft opening and wow, we were so blown away with the service, ambience, and the quality of the food and drinks. Justin and Amy were very welcoming when we entered Kraft. We orderd 1 bowl, an order of the 3 spring rolls, 2 drinks (Premium Matcha with Vanilla Sweet Cream and Jasmine Cold Brew Green Tea with Salted Cheese Foam) and lastly the fruit sandwich with strawberries. What's neat is you pick all your own fillings! The garlic sauce is delicious. I tried a little of each sauce they had. :) Amazing. My 4.8 year old love the pork bun, rice/meat and sando! She told me the sando only has 4 grams of sugar! WOW. Plus the fruit.. it tastes fluffy, fresh and not super sweet! Must try. He devoured it. Now the matcha. I'm not a matcha fan. The Starbucks one is super sweet so it didn't taste too bad, but I'm sure it's crap brand. She said theirs is a premium one, so it's more "earthy" flavored.. I decided to do the 100% sweetness for that reason alone and I'm glad I did. I needed the cold foam to help offset it for me personally. But i still loved it! I want to try it with foam and many of the others like coffee. Plus they use honey to sweeten it, so I like that a lot. Lots of ppl came and went. Visited Kraft Vermicelli for the first time today and it was wonderful. The food was beautifully prepared, health and absolutely delicious. With so many options and choices you can customized your order beyond your wildest expectations. There is the ability to order at the counter or the kiosk....both pleasant experiences. The place is immaculate. The outside dining area has lots of umbrellas and is also immaculately clean. The owners are so friendly and attentive and make the best drinks! I got the Matcha Cream Tea w/ Vanilla Sweet Cream and it was perfect! I prefer my drinks sweet so I opted for 100% sweetness. We've been here twice now. Both times we've waited way longer than is reasonable (20-30 minutes). The most recent one was just for drinks in the morning and apparently the staff didn't show up. They did apologize for the extended wait afterwards but that was the extent, no offer to cover the small desert we bought or anything. I'd probably give it a three but while the food and drinks look beautiful they are nothing special flavor wise. They are also very pricey for what you get. I don't usually post reviews but this place deserves it. It's adorable inside and the food is just as cute. Usually when places have a really nice aesthetic the food is sub par. This wasn't the case! The bao buns and salads are delicious and the drinks are pretty good too. My only somewhat dislike was how small the normal size fruit sando was but it's pretty sweet and rich so you don't necessarily need a lot. If you want to share with someone get two or the large size, but it's very delicious and tastes like mango ice cream. They have a lovely patio and the restaurant seemed very clean. read more

We stopped by this place out of curiosity, and I wasn't disappointed! This place is so cute on the inside (although a little small), it gives off a comfortable and home feel. The Vietnamese coffee is so delicious. I have gone back to this place just for that. I've also had their green tea and it was delicious as well. We got their fruit sandwiches and they're very delicious, but I don't think the jumbo sandwiches are worth the price, and they're very hard to eat (the fruit is huge; we had to cut the sandwich into a bunch of pieces just to eat it). The BEST cafe experience I've ever had!!! I was so excited to try this new cafe just opened in the beautiful Camarillo Old Town as I am a big fan of high quality bobas, and it did not disappoint! The quality of boba teas and fruits sandwiches I tried were the best best best!!! I loved the nice and mochi-like texture of their bobas, and fruits sandwiches were just like the ones I've had in Japan! Very authentic! I was amazed to experience this quality nowhere else but in Camarillo! I usually drive all the way to LA to get decent bobas and Asian pastries, but Kraft Vermicelli filled all my cravings!!! I also loved the stylish interior and super friendly, welcoming staff! Even though I came in at a busy time, Amy and Justin did not stop themselves from taking time to explain the menus and their recommendations when I needed some help to decide my order. I was very happy with my order and now have to come back to try the other menu items too! Maybe it was wrong timing. Staff was kind and all in training which is understandable however during a Friday around 5pm they needed direction and a leader to take the wheel. I was hoping to try a strawberry sando after reading the great reviews. There was a mixed fruit sando left and it was not what it's hyped up to be. It was soggy and I thought it was more so a pound cake but not it's actually a slice of white sandwich bread. I ordered a drink and waited 20 minutes for it, it was lost in the busy shuffle. The drink was terrible, waited 15 minutes and asked if it's ready then they rushed and made it and it was like water.
