I really enjoyed Krak! Came here to celebrate with friends, and was surprised and tickled at the card theme of the shop. Each table had a deck of cards! First time being here and I unfortunately did not enjoy this place. We got 2 different drinks: 1. Queen brûlée - got it at 75% sweetness and it was still overly sweet. It was a blended drink with boba. The boba were definitely soft and had a good chew but the drink was overpowering with the caramel. I ended up not finishing the drink. 2. Strawberry Matcha Latte- again 75% sweetness. This one was a bit bitter and lacked in flavored. The strawberry in it was good but everything else felt lackluster. I feel like I have had similar drink better at other boba places. Overall the toppings were good but the drinks itself were either too much or too lackluster. The ambiance in the store was nice. My friend got the queen brûlée and should've read the reviews bc it was hella sweet. I recommend going at least 50 percent sweet. It's super sweet. Overall a cute spot that has some board games to play while waiting, the decor is cute as well inside for some photo ops for social media, and it's located right next to a Filipino market place called island pacific. We love our Krak boba! It's one of the better boba joints in South OC. I usually get one of the two mango blended drinks and my man always gets something new. The agar / crystal boba is delicious and a healthier alternative to regular boba. If you join their rewards program you get free drinks on your bday! I've fallen in love with Krak Boba because of their options and frequent promos. My favorite drink is Butterfly Passion Fritz. I went to this location on Super Bowl Sunday and was impressed by the vibe and what they have to keep people busy while they wait for their drinks. It kept my kids and fiance busy and enjoying their time. Anyway, I had thought to bring Krak in a Bag for the gathering I was going to but didn't know I had to order 2 hours in advance for prep. An employee named Skye [sp?] was so helpful. She said the milk tea wasn't going to be available but instead of leaving it at that, she gave me an option of taking Thai tea instead and made sure there was enough boba for my order as well. A couple minutes into her going to the back to prepare my order, I realized I had forgotten to ask her to adjust the sweetness level. I asked another employee if she could tell Skye to adjust the sweetness level or if the bag was already done. The employee said that it was already done but I was doubtful and disappointed she didn't bother to check. A few minutes after that, I see Skye in the back with a container of the tea and I yell excuse me in a panic in hopes she could hear me and still adjust the drink. 100% is way too sweet for me and many others and I didn't want to buy something that would go to waste. She comes out to talk to me and says she can still make the adjustment. I couldn't decided between 50% or 75%. I ask what her recommendation was and she said 75% so I agreed. Then she comes out with a sample of 75% for me to taste and approve! I was grateful and impressed by her outstanding customer service. She went above and beyond. I haven't had that type of service in so long so it was refreshing. I would take away a star for the other employee but Skye made up for anything that was lacking. The management team is a close knit crew and they went over and beyond to make us feel special. They opened early to accommodate our schedule and after the boba tasting, we knew immediately that we were going to follow through with them. We were impressed by every single drink and our favorites were the Jasmine Milk Tea (his) and Mango Tango (hers). The crowd pleasers were the Sun Bright (for lactose intolerant people), Cookies & Cream and Queen Brûlée. Our gut feeling was right after doing a couple other boba tastings. Prices are competitive and the quality and service that you get far exceeds expectations. Riezle was seriously so easy to work with. Y'all's know how stressful wedding planning is but Riezle made everything run so smoothly. 100% would recommend them and if I had another big event, I would contact them in a heartbeat. Wow!! I haven't been this excited to find a coffee/tea shop in over a year! I stumbled upon Krak Boba a few months back when I was in need of some caffeine before a long drive home. After looking at the menu, I realized two of my favorite drinks were available in a harmonious combination. Therefore, I had to order the Matcha Coffee. When I tell you this coffee is absolutely delicious...I truly can't emphasize it enough. The coffee itself is a lovely Vietnamese coffee that is as creamy and as flavorful as you would hope to be. What makes this drink even more incredible is the matcha foam on top. The foam itself is thick and tastes like absolute perfection. The matcha is top quality and the consistency is unmatched by any other boba shop I've visited. My only recommendation is ordering this 25% sweet as it is quite a sweet drink already. This drink is my new addiction and order it any chance I get when I'm in the area. Just when you thought this place couldn't get any better, I haven't even touched on service nor ambiance yet. The employees here are so incredibly sweet (just like their drinks)! They are patient, know their menu well, and are quick in service. I know when I step foot into Krak Boba, I will be greeted with a smile and incredibly fast service. The ambiance itself in Krak is more modern which I usually am not a huge fan of but something about this establishment makes it welcoming. I genuinely love how it's designed to be a place where you grab coffee or tea with friends and hangout there for awhile. There's plenty of seating and games to play while you hangout too! Was in the area around 2 weeks ago and wanted some boba! We came based on the highly rated reviews and intriguing drink flavors. They had lots of flavors to choose from. I ordered a Guerilla Thai from their speciality menu and my boyfriend's mom ordered the Dragon Slayer and a Wintermelon Milk Tea. My Guerilla Thai drink took around 20 minutes to make and I feel like that's a bit too long for a drink. We ordered half sweet on the Guerrilla Thai and it was insanely sweet. It was hard to decipher which one was the best drink but we were all feeling like the drinks were standard. I came on a Thursday and got specialty bobas for only $4! It was such a steal. I got the dragon slayer with boba. It is a lychee slushie with really dragon fruit and mango bits. It was SO good. It's quite thick so had to shake it a certain way. But the flavors were on point. It was so refreshing on such a hot day. My coworker loved his strawberry matcha as well. The boba was warm, soft, and chewy just the way I like it. The workers were so nice. I guess something happened and they gave us a free drink and a small cup of the leftover that didn't fit inside the boba cup. My coworker took them up on that offer of course. the boba places keep growing around south OC! not to sound super old, but I remember when I had to drive 30 mins to Cha for Tea to get a decent cup of boba. anyways, I was excited to try this place mostly for the dragon slayer drink which is gorgeous. I got it with coconut lychee jelly and it was delightful. the mango flavor is definitely the most prominent, but there was a nice dragonfruit punch as well. I got 100% sweetness and I didn't find it too sweet as the lychee slush blends everything out. my friends taro drink was very standard and yummy, though on the sweeter end. the only complaint is that the drinks were a jaw dropping $8+. i am all about the speciality drinks, but maybe not at $9 after tax and tip... the interior of krak boba is super cute though, and they have a games you can play with friends there. Taro is very good I like to rate boba places on their basic flavors like taro because it's really always a mix & water/ice so it can tell you if the place is more creative, trying to stand out. This place puts pieces of taro into your drink for some added texture, why not. Dragon slayer (lychee & mango bits) This drink I have gotten before and my friend got yesterday is consistently good and especially a great option for those lactose intolerant or want something more for summer. Strawberry Matcha This drink is certainly unique. I have gotten it multiple times now and it's rather... curious... there is strawberry jam inside with very creamy matcha and I add boba. If you don't mix well, it can be a tad hard to drink. Unfortunately the textures are soo different, it doesn't really mix. I just like the matcha part, it's sweet enough to stand on its own.
