I've had Maui Matcha before at their location in The Shops at Wailea, so I was excited to stumble upon this spot at The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, Ka'anapali. It's a cute little stand just past the lobby on the right. easy to access whether you're staying at the resort or just stopping by. The menu is simple and straightforward, offering classic matcha drinks along with a few signature options. We tried the Honey Lavender and the Honey Cinnamon, and both were really good. The Honey Lavender stood out--it had a sweet, floral flavor that blended with the matcha in a way that oddly reminded me of Fruity Pebbles (in a good way!). The Honey Cinnamon was tasty too, though the cinnamon was a bit overpowering and took over most of the drink's flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations, which made the experience even better. I did not have high hopes to find a good matcha place in Maui coming from Seattle/Bay Area but this stand looked really promising. Price was expected for a matcha place. Since it's one person working you need to cap your own drinks. For some reason my husband's cup was almost not able to cap. Collagen in a matcha is a first for me, but it wasn't amazing! *Ube - 4/5-The sweet, nutty flavor of the ube balanced beautifully with the richness of the matcha. It was smooth and had creamy taste that felt refreshing! *Honey Cinnamon - 5/5- The taste of honey and cinnamon really came through with this drink and we really appreciated how flavorful the syrup was because typically with honey and cinnamon they tend to be a lot more settle, but not with Maui Matcha! *Pistachio - 5/5 If you're a pistachio lover, you'll probably enjoy this one.
