Made to order Matcha drinks! This was very tasty and she was able to put it together very quickly. There were also non-dairy milk options, which was wonderful! In the grand scheme of things, I think the pricing was spot on for the size of drink
I was looking for a store front, haha, I was not expecting it to be a small kiosk booth thingy in the middle of the shopping center! The line for matcha was crazy long, the lady had to break the line in half so she can take her mandated 15 min break. Glad I wasn't part of the second half of the line, hehe. Anyway, it's highly impressive for the drinks to pack so much flavor and have the authentic matcha flavor from a booth. It just proves that you don't need a fancy-schmancy brick and mortar to serve quality stuff! The lady had high spirits and was super friendly, even though she was slammed and solo. Expect to wait in line for a bit, the drinks are made to order and not from a premade mix. Nothing to complain about except that I wish they had more locations around the island!
I ordered the Pistachio Matcha with oat milk, and it was nice that they did not upcharge for an alternative milk (though, for $10/drink, it's probably already hidden in the cost). I was really excited by how vibrantly green the drink was, and it was initially quite yummy, but it got a bit too sweet quickly. I'm not sure if the pistachio flavor was super pistachio-y, moreso just nutty. Overall, not bad if you want a flavored matcha latte, but maybe I would try something else next time in the hopes of it having stronger matcha flavor. Not bad for a small kiosk! The barista was very nice, and she was a real trooper for having to scoop matcha powder into the bowl in the wind!
This review is actually for their Lahaina location. I've had Maui Matcha before at their location in The Shops at Wailea, so I was excited to stumble upon this spot at The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, Ka'anapali. It's a cute little stand just past the lobby on the right. easy to access whether you're staying at the resort or just stopping by. The menu is simple and straightforward, offering classic matcha drinks along with a few signature options. We tried the Honey Lavender and the Honey Cinnamon, and both were really good. The Honey Lavender stood out--it had a sweet, floral flavor that blended with the matcha in a way that oddly reminded me of Fruity Pebbles (in a good way!). The Honey Cinnamon was tasty too, though the cinnamon was a bit overpowering and took over most of the drink's flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations, which made the experience even better. I'd definitely recommend anyone staying at the resort to give it a try and locals should stop by too if you're in the area and craving a solid matcha.

I did not have high hopes to find a good matcha place in Maui coming from Seattle/Bay Area but this stand looked really promising. They offered variety of matcha flavors, including unique seasonal menu items such as the banana bread matcha, which is what we ordered. I was mainly drawn to order some because they offered ceremonial grade matcha. We waited around 20-25 minutes while we shopped around the mall to wait for them to restock ice. Only one person was working at the stand but she was very kind and helpful when describing the different items on the menu. The banana bread matcha was fragrant, and the syrup was the perfect balance of sweetness to the umami of matcha, but the particular brand of oat milk used was a bit overpowering. Overall, I would come back and definitely recommend this place if you need a matcha fix while in Maui!
this matcha was actually really good, definitely better than most matcha i've tried i got the banana matcha since i heard it wasn't too sweet, and i'd say it's right in the middle, not too sweet but still flavorful it was around $10 for a cup which is a bit pricey, but it's hawaii so i didn't mind too much overall, really solid matcha and i'd come back again
YUM!!! Now THIS is good matcha!! It's made with ceremonial-grade matcha & they hand-whisk it in front of you! The matcha is frothy and creamy and it's a really good comparison to the matchas back home in Los Angeles. I got the Honey Cinnamon flavor, and it's so delicious I still think about it! The stand is small, so they only carry a limited number of items before they sell out. They recommended all of their signature matchas, and after trying the Honey Cinnamon, I totally trust their picks! If you're on this side of the island, I definitely recommend stopping by Maui Matcha. We drove 30 minutes to get here, and it was so worth it!
Custom Matcha Drink (Double Matcha). Amazing atmosphere and accessible parking. Lots to do in the area (outdoor mall, near beach). The matcha barista/expert was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and had a warm personality. The matcha was high quality, clean, and delicious! We were craving matcha and stopped by because we saw they had good reviews! All of us ordered one of their signature drinks, the pistachio matcha. We were not fans, the pistachio syrup they use didn't taste like pistachio at all (it had a very overwhelming almond extract taste). Maybe it was just that one specific drink that is a miss; they do seem to hand whisk all of their drinks.
The matcha latte was overall very yummy! The banana bread flavoring paired well with the matcha, and both flavors stood out and melded together well!
Found this little matcha stand at the Wailea shops. Service was pretty fast. There was just one couple ahead of me and got my drink within 5 or so minutes. I tried the blue lotus- it wasn't too sweet and still had a nice matcha flavor. Prices are a little higher but still comparable to other matcha places. Overall id try another drink next time I'm there.
Blue Lotus Matcha with coconut milk was super good. Not too sweet and matcha was smooth and silky. Long line on a Sunday afternoon, but was in and out in about 20 minutes. There was only one person working but they were very efficient. I'd come early morning next time to avoid waiting.
I absolutely loved her Matcha cart! Wailea mall is a great location with beautiful layout throughout the mall, where the cart is located is perfect on main level near the LV and Gucci store. All the options on her menu sounded so good, wishing I could try them all! I ordered Ube Matcha as I love Ube and can never get enough, it's the best Ube matcha yet!
I have been wanting to try this place,but everytime the line was quite long. But not this time, so I took it as my sign. I decided on the ube matcha with almond milk. Make sure to mix it otherwise it will be warm. The matcha itself was really good. That rich green color. The ube was a bit mild once mixed in, but it was good. read more
Stopped by Maui Matcha in Wailea and ordered the Banana Bread Matcha. Overall, it was a decent matcha, but not the best I've had. The sweetness level was good and it wasn't chalky, which I appreciated. The banana bread flavor was a nice touch and made the drink enjoyable. The lady serving the drinks was also very nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location is also nice since it's located in the Shops at Grand Wailea, making it a convenient spot to stop by while exploring the area. read more

(+) Lilikoi Matcha Latte (+) Matcha Latte Maui Matcha is an outdoor stand in the middle of the 'Shops at Wailea' shopping mall. A great add to the plaza where sipping on a matcha makes your shopping experience more enjoyable. The woman who took our order and made the matcha was pleasant and helped my wife and I. The menu is straight forward and ordering is easy. Drinks: My wife wanted to try the lilikoi matcha and she really loved it. The lilikoi made the otherwise bitter matcha sweeter and tastier. I thought it had the perfect depiction of lilikoi. They have oat, soy and almond milk available. Overall, I would recommend Maui matcha for your matcha needs. As a California resident and matcha snob, the matcha is better than average and good quality. read more

I ordered the Honey Cinnamon Matcha with oat milk, and wow--absolute perfection. The warm notes of cinnamon paired with the light sweetness of honey complemented the earthy richness of the matcha so beautifully. It was smooth, comforting, and refreshing all at once. Easily one of the best matcha drinks I've ever had! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about the quality of what they're serving. The matcha is ceremonial-grade and organic, and it truly makes a difference. You get that vibrant green color and fresh, clean taste in every sip. The vibe at the kiosk is peaceful and aesthetic--perfect for grabbing a mindful moment between shopping or before heading to the beach. Cute little booth in the middle of the mall area. The person there was so kind and helpful. We got the pistachio matcha and the ube matcha and both were delicious. The pistachio was a more on the sweeter side and the ube was more earthy. I liked how strong the matcha flavor was and how you can taste the earthiness of it. read more

Cute little stand in the Wailea shopping center! Quick but delicate service, enjoyed watching them mix the matcha and the satisfying pour over the ice and milk. Had to get my matcha fix while in Maui! When I did my research before heading to Maui, I learned about Maui Matcha. They have nice signature matcha combos, as well as, the classics! We opted for their signature drinks to try something new. They were all great! They balanced well with the matcha and you can tell they also use good quality matcha. I also love that they hand whisk all their matchas fresh! Something I don't really see often. Service was quick, stand was cute and clean (despite being small). I hope I can come again when I'm back in Maui! read more

I love Maui so matcha, and I must say that I also love Maui Matcha so matcha! I'd been to Maui Matcha years ago at Whalers Village, so I was stoked to find their little tea cart in the center of The Shops at Wailea right outside Olukai and SOHA on the ground level. Big mahalo and shout out to Ronnie, who did her wizardry and whipped us up the most delicious, comforting yet refreshing iced Honey Lavender Matcha Latte with oat milk. My hubby and I are big time matcha lovers and make matcha lattes at home, in addition to seeking the best matcha drinks when we travel. Maui Matcha's quality is excellent and even with the local honey & lavender added, the bold matcha flavor was still the delightfully dominant flavor. A lot of places will be way too heavy handed on the syrups and additional flavors, but Ronnie made a perfectly balanced and tasty drink for us! Go getcha matcha here! read more

A cute kiosk/stand located at the Shops at Wailea. Stopped by at opening since the last few times I was in the area there was a long line as there's only one worker. I've heard great reviews of their banana bread matcha but it's seasonal and based on availability. I opted for the pistachio matcha and I was surprised how bold the pistachio flavor was. Didn't taste artificial since it's a syrup but also didn't taste too much matcha but I love pistachio so it was still delicious. Also tried my friend's choice of honey lavender which was also tasty but very light in flavor in comparison to my strong pistachio. Would try them again! read more

Such good matcha! I'm not a big matcha drinker but really wanted to try the Ube Matcha...and I was not disappointed. I loved how this stand only carried non-dairy milk products so it gave me many more non-dairy options to choose from (because they don't have refrigeration, they need shelf safe options). Service was quick and the two girls managing the stand were very sweet. The drink was amazing! Not too sweet and not too much of the earthy matcha aftertaste. It was the perfect balance. Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in Wailea. read more
Drove an hour here as the one in Lahaina was temporarily closed. Love matcha but this was definitely not worth it. I ordered the blue lotus & ube matcha. I could barely taste the matcha & tasted more like soy milk with a hint of matcha. Very disappointed for $10. Not worth it at all. The lady did everything. She was the cashier & mixed all the drinks in front of us & saw a lot of milk being poured into our drinks. read more
amazing matcha & hojicha! visiting from bay area and needless to say it did not disappoint. very strong matcha and banana flavor (would be even better with cold foam) and the hojicha had very bold flavor, not too sweet (extra points for the cereal on top). overall, would recommend this place :) read more

Tucked in the middle of the shops, you'll find a line that never leaves. Why??? A lively assortment of matcha drinks - each with a unique spin! From ube, to blue beauty, to banana chocolate chip matcha drinks....it's so refreshing on a hot Maui day! There's lush plants surrounding the kiosk and a very polite barista! Worth the wait! read more
The matcha cart was easy to find on the lower level. Love the menu of traditional and Hawaiian flavors. I tried the honey cinnamon matcha with coconut milk. Wow!!! It was the perfect combination of flavors. My daughter tried it and then had to get one too. I would have preferred fresh milk but would definitely go here again. read more

Maui Matcha made quite an impression on my boyfriend and me. Before heading to Hawaii, we decided we would visit daily and try a new flavor each time. The young lady who helped us two out of the three days was so sweet and knowledgeable about the matcha products. She answered our questions with ease and even while being the only one working the cart, she managed the line very well. On our third visit, we had a different barista, and while the drinks were still enjoyable, they weren't as well crafted as the first two times. The flavors in both the Honey Cinnamon Matcha and the Pistachio Matcha didn't come through as strongly, leaving them a bit underwhelming I guess you could say compared to the consistently balanced drinks we had on the prior days. Here's everything we tried, along with our ratings and thoughts: *Blue Lotus - 5/5 Beautifully crafted and well balanced with collagen. This drink gave off a floral like taste that was creamy but and sweet! Collagen in a matcha is a first for me, but it wasn't amazing! *Ube - 4/5-The sweet, nutty flavor of the ube balanced beautifully with the richness of the matcha. It was smooth and had creamy taste that felt refreshing! *Honey Cinnamon - 5/5- The taste of honey and cinnamon really came through with this drink and we really appreciated how flavorful the syrup was because typically with honey and cinnamon they tend to be a lot more settle, but not with Maui Matcha! *Pistachio - 5/5 If you're a pistachio lover, you'll probably enjoy this one. The bold flavor pairs wonderfully with the matcha. The grade of matcha they use is imported from Japan, and it shows due to its bright green color that true matcha drinkers will appreciate! read more

This place was awesome! I came here while visiting from the mainland, and was pleasantly impressed by how high quality the matcha is. As someone who's a matcha connoisseur, I am picky & can safely say that this place exceeded my expectations:) beware that they may run out of supplies later in the day, so getting there when they first open is ideal. read more

Cute set up middle of the mall. Great service although the matcha flavor wasn't really there. Decided to try their ube matcha and neither matcha or ube flavor was really there so was kind of a miss for my personal preference. read more
