We needed new windows for our house and were on a tighter timeline than we would've liked (baby on the way, can't keep putting It off) so we got quotes from a couple of places. We foolishly started with the most expensive option and started to get nervous after the first quote. We got a second quote from another well-known company (rhymes with "smella") and it was half the price but the salesmen were uncomfortable unprofessional and the product wasn't nearly as nice. I looked up reviews for both companies online, trying to justify the cost of either- one being wildly unaffordable and the other feeling cheap. All of the reviews for BOTH complained about quality and professionalism of installation, as well as adherence to schedules. I bought a 2022 car this year. No way am I going to pay the same price for new windows to have a shoddy install with people that make me uncomfortable and finish late when timeline is really important to us right now. We honestly kind of gave up on it and it got pushed to the back burner with a "maybe we'll try to do it ourselves because this is not a pleasant situation". Someone knocked on our door a few weeks later when windows had been long since forgotten and gave me a flyer for Krasiva windows, offering the same free quote they all do. He was friendly and we needed windows so I figured whatever, it can't get any worse, right? Enter: Mark. Mark came to the house at the scheduled time and was SO nice. We talked for a long time, he was personable friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us the whole speech and demonstration and showed us the windows. Fantastic quality, heat retention, the whole deal. We talked about the remodeling we're doing to the house, he talked about his own, he was really great. I'm hoping he didn't have another appointment after us because if he did we definitely made him late. He made us feel comfortable with him, with the product, and with the whole process. The price was literally half of The Expensive Guys, and the quality was definitely incredible. Signed the papers, asked when the estimate for install would be, Mark said "probably about the same as the others". The others had said late January/early February, and that had been weeks before so I was a little nervous. When I said that out loud Mark laughed and said "wait, seriously?" And told me it was more like 12-14 weeks from the final measurement. Phew. 12 weeks would have been around mid-December so I was planning on early/mid January just because I always think it's best to plan on things taking longer than expected. I don't remember the exact date but I think it was the last week of October I get a call from Krasiva "about my windows". Great, I think, it's going to be February or something now- no big deal, I expected this. "Just letting you know your windows are here and ready to be installed whenever you are!". Exxxxxxcellent. Jose and Jacob came exactly when they were scheduled to, which is always a pleasant start. They walked through the house to see all the areas and see what they were working with. We already signed the contract, we'd already been sold on the windows, so when Jose was telling us more about how great the windows are and what a good decision we had made it gave me that much more confidence and made me even more comfortable with the purchase. Our dog is very friendly. VERY friendly. She ran out of the house to greet them (she might've jumped a little bit, at 80 pounds she's a big girl) and they were SO nice to her. Even told her she was pretty, which she really liked. They tolerated her following them around in and out of the house all day and made her really happy. It might seem unrelated and irrelevant, but she is our baby girl and it meant a lot to us to have that extra care. I could also tell they weren't there to take out the old windows and stick the new ones in- they actually cared about making sure that everything looked great and fit perfectly. They took their time and weren't rushing anything. It being a huge purchase and a very long-term investment, it was nice to have people doing the install that were mindful of that and truly cared about doing their best. They cleaned everything up afterward (honestly it was probably cleaner after they left than before they got here) and everything looked amazing. They even put new molding around the sliding door to match the style we had done so far in our remodel. The windows are fantastic, they make it feel like a whole new house and the quality is as promised but I really can't speak highly enough of the employees that we worked with- everyone was incredible and put my frantic and nervous mind at ease from start to finish. read more

Sales - Steve did an excellent job describing the product, the differences between this and competing products as well as the installation process in general. This was not a high pressure sales experience. He presented a quality product and educated us on its benefits. Ordering and Preparation - Final measurements, working with the HOA for approval and getting product to my residence when promised went smoothly. Derek and Stephanie provided timely communication and were always responsive to our inquiries. Installation - We cannot say enough good things about the Krasiva crew installing our new windows. Joe, Kirk and Gavin were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We felt they worked toward an installation that they would have completed in their own homes. They took their time and "did things right". Everyone took time to answer my questions and explained how things worked when I didn't understand. Cleanup was like no one was ever there. Product - Now that we have had the 11 large windows (and 1 sliding door) in place for a few weeks, we can tell you that our expectations have been exceeded. We already had builder grade dual pane windows in the home and expected a slight decrease in heat transfer, but the Vision 2500 weather shield product has proven to be more of an improvement. Example - Our master bedroom has a large south facing window in an 8x8 foot alcove. It has always been hot. We had a thermal shade, heavy curtains and an A/C vent right there. With the new window, we have not installed the shade and I have had to partially close the A/C vent to keep the alcove comfortable for my wife (her desk is in this alcove). The curtains and furniture next to two large west facing windows were always warm to the touch. While our max temperatures have only hit 110+ a half dozen times, we have noticed that even in direct afternoon sun, the glass itself is cool to the touch. The new windows even block external noise more effectively. Overall, I would recommend this product and Krasiva to anyone (in fact I already have :-) ). read more

When I purchased my home a year ago, it was obvious that the windows needed to be replaced. Exterior gaskets were cracked and dried out, and the thought of using expensive shutters to keep out the heat and sunshine made no sense to me. I bought the house in part because of the many windows, including seven clerestory windows that added a cheerful, bright feel to the home. Living in dark rooms all day long was out of the question. I don't do these very often but after the positive experience I had with this company, I thought I would let others know about it. I was leery about getting new windows. You always hear about the horror stories. The sales contact was very patient with me and explained all the various options that I could choose from. He was very though. What really sold me was the fact that they don't subcontract their installers. The installers are employees of the company. That was very important to me because I have dealt with sub contractors when doing other home improvements and it wasn't good. When it came time to install the windows, the crew 1) was on time, 2) ,each one of them, introduced themselves, 3) didn't sit around throughout the day. They focused on the job at hand and completed the job on time. I was also impressed that the sales person who sold me the windows also showed up the first day. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the area and removed all the trash. After they were done, I received a call from their office to let me know that the warranty paper work would be mailed shortly. I then received another call from the office asking me how my experience was. They asked if it would be okay if the sales person could come back by so he could look at the work that was done. We were referred to Krasiva and specifically Greg through a friend that had completed some significant projects. The referring friend's first comments were, "their guys do great work." It couldn't have turned out to be more true. Starting with Greg's expertise walking my wife and I (neophytes) through what makes a good window, what to look for and what to watch out for...all sounded great and we were happy with the pre-sales process. But, then their crew came to install the windows and somehow, the experience was even better. The crew was quick, clean, professional and took great care with our house. Efficiency is great, but not when it comes with sacrificing quality and I'm excited to say we received both efficiency and quality. Lastly, the stucco team was beyond amazing and proactive. I truly walked away with the feeling they treated our home like it was theirs. We had some random stucco pieces in need of repair, that had nothing to do with the window project, and the stucco team went ahead and patched them while they were here. Friends had referred us to Krasiva Windows and Doors. We did meet with two other companies and considered all three for our window replacement project. The Krasiva representative was extremely knoweldgeable about the products and provided samples. The replacement process for our house was complicated in that one due to the strucutal design of our house, the procedure used on the front of the house was different from the side and back window procedure. Again, the sales rep took the time to answer all of our questions. The final measurement appointment was timely. The windows arrived earlier than anticipated which was a wonderful bonus for us. Actual installation was completed in 2 1/2 days. The crew was polite, respectful, and professional. It was evident from their conversation they enjoyed working together. The stucco repair was scheduled quickly and completed in one day. As the heat has increased, we are delighted to not be using the AC. Krasiva Windows is a very friendly and wonderful company. They did a very nice job replacing my two front windows. Someone from Krasiva came to my door, introduced himself asked if I was interested in replacing my windows or doors. I was actually looking that day to have my 2 windows replaced. He left a flyer and said someone would be contacting me to set up an appointment. They followed up via phone to set an appointment for the demonstration. Perry was my demonstration guy. He did very well, played with my dog, Very friendly and helpful. I learned a lot (as I am a new home owner) about the different window types.I ended up scheduling my window replacement for end of March 2017. After the measurements and order placement, the windows actually came a month early, The installers came a few days after my notification of my windows. The installation was quick, maybe 3-4 hours tops! I love my new windows, they are very pleasing to look at from the outside. I really bought them to keep the heat outside and so far it's working. Our new windows and sliding door were installed this week and we are in love with them. (We did order 2 picture windows that had to be remade so we will need to wait another month or so for them). However, we are so happy with this company starting the with the sales person (Perry) to our office contact (Derrick) to the installers (Richard and Adam). Everyone in this company is knowledgeable; conscientious, considerate and pleasant. Our team - Richard and Adam - were fun to work with; answered our questions and explained the locking system to us. They cleaned up their tools and the areas that they worked. We have asked for them when our other two windows come in. The windows were the final piece of our remodel projects this fall which included new flooring throughout the house and new quartz countertops. They truly are the "icing on the cake" as they make everything else look completed. I can't say enough good things about Krasiva Windows and Doors! We had them replace six windows and a sliding patio door at my mom's house, and everything from start to finish was outstanding. The sales team really knew their stuff and showed us a product that clearly outperformed what we had seen from other companies--and the price was very reasonable. The installers were pros: super clean, respectful, and they didn't mind that I was watching and asking questions the whole time. We've noticed a HUGE improvement since the install--no more road noise from the nearby freeway, and our cooling system is working way less, saving energy and money. Krasiva installed a new picture window, and new windows for my master bedroom and kitchen last summer. The crew that came to the house was very professional, courteous and careful. When they left it was as though they had never been here -- except for the beautiful new windows which function perfectly. There was a long wait from the original order to the install (appr 8 weeks) but that is because the windows are made to measure, and they are measured for twice by two different people. The result was worth the wait. My husband and I are very pleased and will have Krasiva do additional windows, actually patio sliders, as soon as the weather moderates. Krasiva Windows & Doors installed new sliding glass doors in our home. We have been delighted with the results. The doors were clearly of high quality, the installer was meticulous in his installation, and the Company aggressively followed up to get us exactly the door handles that we had ordered. We were hoping for some sound reduction from the jets overhead, but not terribly optimistic about how that would work out. In fact, there was a very significant reduction in noise after the new doors were installed. The sound of the jets - which had previously forced us to suspend watching TV shows - turned in minor background noise that is easily disregarded.. read more

I just had all the windows and a patio door replaced with the safeguard double pane glass. What a wonderful difference between the old single pane windows and these replacements. The salesman that provided the quote was very educational on the window features. He followed up during the installation to see how the work was going. I had to reschedule the installation, which was no problem with the office staff. The 3 installers were friendly, respectful, and answered my questions during the installation. Replaced my 28-year-old single pane windows and 2 patio doors with Krasiva double pane windows. Am delighted with the results! Amazed at the difference in lighting levels in my house. I need a patio door for my house. My wife works during the times you would show up, she doesn't give a flip about the door, it's going to be a rental, and they still refuse to give an estimate if she isn't there. This is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've heard since I left the Army, and it's even competitive with that. And that's dumb.
