Great place! The food is absolutely delicious and staffs are friendly. Beyond expectations and they have nice dishes and cutlery. Must try again.

Krave Eatery features Afghan food, and my eyes became big with excitement. I never had Afghan food and was eager to try. The grill option consisted of choosing a protein, a choice of rice, salad, two sides, and bread! When you dine in, you receive complimentary hot tea! I decided not to have tea since caffeine was late in the day, and I wanted to sleep later on. Here is what I ordered: Lamb Chops Brown rice Garden Salad (house dressing on the side) Eggplant Chickpeas It was suggested I sprinkled Sumac on my lamb chops. He was right. It added to the flavor of the lamb. The lamb chops were juicy, and brown rice was seasoned with cumin and cardamom, among other spices. For my two sides, I ordered chickpeas and eggplant. Since eating enjoying meatless Monday for the last six months, my palate now craves chickpeas. The eggplant was roasted and then fried (known as Bouranee Baunjaun) and remind me of a chunky baba ghanoush. Follow me on IG @dreamyeatsworldwide and TikTok @dreamyeatsworldwide for dreamy eats reviews and laugh!

Awesome!! I HIGHLY recommend trying Krave soon. They have totally authentic Afghan dishes, and MANY other things...burgers, steaks, salads - many excellent choices. We had chicken kabobs and a beef shwarma (sandwich), and both were just excellent. The portions were also VERY generous, and we have half a sandwich left over! The staff were all really friendly and efficient, and made sure we had a great dining experience. And...prices were very reasonable, you totally get value for money here. I absolutely recommend this gem, and know you will be happy you gave this excellent restaurant a try!

This place is not worth going to, unless you are here to take pictures and leave, don't eat their food. The only reason this place has two stars is because of the decor. As an Afghan this food is not good enough, seasoned enough, warm enough to be called afghan food. I had the chicken kabob and had high expectations from the reviews and pictures. Their rice is bland, barely lukewarm, and tasted crunchy. Their beans and chickpeas came directly from cans and were not warm. The chopped salad was just tomatoes and nothing else. The fries were frozen and not seasoned at all. The chicken was mediocre as it was cooked but not seasoned at all. The bread was 4 2x2 small pieces that do not have the luxury of being called Naan. Please find an actual chef. Til then, stick to drinks or aesthetic. I put pepper on everything hence the seasoning.

    Half eaten scrumptious!

Excellent Gyros! The flavor is amazing! Love the style it's made. 1st time here. I will return and try other items! The menu looks very appetizing!

Casual seating area with lots of room.

Saw this recommended in the Annandale Blog so visited the first time tonight. They feature a fast casual menu of Afghan and American favorites in a very pleasant yet simple setting. We chose the chicken kabob sandwich and the filet mignon kabob dinner. The dinner came with multiple sides; the sandwich was a la carte. Overall? Terrific! The meats were well-seasoned, tender and perfectly grilled. The sides were top notch--even the spinach that I often dislike. While their burgers look good, we'll be back to explore the Afghan side some more. Maybe the best kebabs we've had in the area. Taking home some baghlava because we don't have room for dessert.

    It is pretty in here!

The food was just out of this world. You can tell that it's made with love. Meats were tender, packed with Ethiopian flavors, and served with the finest injera. The restaurant itself is very low key. The dining room is decorated with beautiful pieces of Ethiopian art work. Our server was so kind and made us feel right at home. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served. It is BYOB so be sure to bring your favorite beverage. For two of us we ordered the Kitfo, Tibs, cubed fish (tilapia) and five different veggies. It was plenty of food. My one and only critique would be with the cubed fish. It was a bit on the sweet side, and not as packed with the flavor as the other dishes. However, some may like sauces on the sweeter side. Can't wait to go back for another visit!!!

As soon as we sit down the owner sets down two water bottles, complimentary. We were parched from the day so it was perfectly timed. We ordered an appetizer and the awaze chick tibs and awake tibs with some lentils, served family style. The flavors were wonderful. They don't serve beer but do allow you to bring your own if you'd like.

Thanks Wooboi for the great chicken!…read more I was in the area working. I did a quick 5 mile run along the Potomac River. I saw this place and decided to try it. The menu is straight forward. Chicken sandwich, tenders a burrito, fries and a pudding. I got the 3 tenders and slice of bread. Spice level mild. Great portions. My chicken was hot, fresh and succulent. Well seasoned and flavorful. $13 or so. No fries. Service was fast and the restaurant is clean. I love Nashville hot chicken. And this place didn't disappoint. I saw they have other locations. That's good to know because ow I know where to get great flavor and good portions of protein. Keep up the good work.

Love that they have so many spice levels to choose from. I asked for the medium level and honestly it could be considered spicy to some. So if you're sensitive maybe go one lower than you think. The flavor is more than just spice though. The chicken is really well cooked and battered. The outside was crispy even with sauce all over. Also the fried okra was a sleeper agent, it was so addicting we all kept reaching for it. I'm personally not the biggest fan of waffle fries but these were cooked great. Great place to swing by and grab some fried chicken
