What initially intrigued me was the crab claws, I was kravin' some I asked the host the seat me somewhere I can watch the Seahawks vs 49ers game. He said, pick and choose. My waitress was a very extroverted personality, easy going and socialable. Her name is Lauren (hope I spelled that correctly) But I asked for some recommendations on various things. She gave me her honest opinion about it. Which I appreciates. Most people would try to gaslight/upsell she didn't. I end up getting the pick 3. Grilled crabcake, grilled crab claws and blackened suwait fish. As I waited I observed the decor, it was your standard marina style. Nothing crazy. I got my food in a decent time frame. But wow the food tasted amazing! Everything was so flavorful, I devoured the entire plate. Nothing left but garnishment! However the gumbo was good, not great. Been there a few times. I know they are a local favorite, but I am not a fan. I don't like hot food served in styrofoam (my biggest issue). The food is pretty much all deep fried. Not impressed with the amount of imported fish, either. We're on the Gulf Coast, use local fishermen. Service was always mediocre at best as well. read more

The food was wonderful! And the portions were huge! Really puts Red Lobster to shame. I suggest you tried the grilled scallops and the reds. They were so delicious. We will definitely go back there again and again and again I had Keylime pie for dessert that was also so good. The prices were under $25 for each dish and it was really worth it. read more

This is becoming one of my favorite places for royal reds. They are cooked perfectly and very easy to peel. The dinner comes with corn and potatoes. Its served with drawn butter but I like the cocktail sauce. My wife had the grilled scallops with sweet potato fries. They were really good too. Great tea. Service with Destiny was great. So I'm not sure where to start. Portions were very good and price was cheap. This should have been my big red flag. I got the pick 3 (stuffed crab, crab claws - which are an extra $2, and catfish.) Let's just say that the cole slaw was the best part of the meal. And I don't even like cole slaw. I know this is a weird thing to say about a seafood place, but everything had a "fishy" taste. Fantastic fish!! This is a popular local fish restaurant that serves outstanding seafood. Of special note was the crab claws that were seasoned and blackened which were amazing. I felt like being a pig and ordering a second batch. The Gumbo too was outstanding and one of the best I've had outside NOLA. It came with delicious French fries and coleslaw. The small size is cheap and is Kris than enough food for you to take home leftovers. It was the best shrimp I've ever had. Not even kidding. Great seafood spot! Stopped in on the way back to Dallas and had an excellent meal. Started with the gumbo which was very well seasoned with lots of shrimp. We also had a Shrimp Poboy which was packed with shrimp, they were flying everywhere as we tried to eat it. Also had a catfish basket and a combo with a crab cake and blackened shrimp. All the food was very well prepared and tasty. Hats off to our server as well, she was quick and friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. Kravers is literally 1 mile from my house, so it is a popular place to visit for fried seafood. They have a pick 2 and pick 3 basket that you can order and it has tons of food. Usually for the four of us, two pick 3 baskets is more than enough. You can pick from shrimp, catfish, chicken fingers, even crab claws. Sides also come with it. There were 4 of us this time and so two of us ordered the piled high pick 3 with gigantic popcorn shrimp (you can also get tail on shrimp), catfish and crab claws. One of those people was my 16 year old son, who never stops eating, and along with the sides, they could not eat it all. My daughter ordered a shrimp basket (tail on) and could not finish it with the sides. (Small basket) I ordered the steamed royal reds and got potatoes and Cole slaw. Let me tell you, they were fine. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. I ordered the small basket - I did finish it all, and it was the perfect size meal. Great service, did not have to wait long. Loved it as always. read more

Staff is very pleasant and make you feel like you're at home. We ordered the seafood platter and it's plenty for two. Being from Houston we just don't see seafood platters with crawfish claws so that was indeed a treat. Everything was delicious. Wasn't too crazy over the stuffed crab on the plate but it's my least favorite on any platter. You have to request the catfish over the other fish we've never had before for $2 extra but was worth it! We enjoyed our dinner here and would definitely visit again when we're here. read more
