They got my orders right and my friends got their orders correct as well. I wasn't aware that the location was opened. When I saw the line, I turned my whole car around and came in. I came on a Sunday and it opened that Tuesday. The line was long. Not Great Wall if china long, but long enough that you realize that standing in it doesn't lead to free Beyoncé tickets and this is a fat decision. The restaurant was not built for the popularity it was receiving. If maybe it was a Dunkin donuts, but not a KK. Even a Starbucks has more interior surface area. Who ever designed the interior did a very poor job. I think of the KK stall in New York Penn Station. They don't even have the capacity to make the donuts fresh but their donut display is huge and on two sides. The donut display here is smaller than the food display at Starbucks. It's odd. Everything at this location is cramped. There's not enough seating and the traffic flow (inside & out) needs to be redesigned. I've been to KK stores before and this is by far the worst designed one I've ever seen. I stood in line maybe 20mins. We then learned that their donut machine was broken and they ran out of the regular holed donuts. All that was available were filled. There were three cashiers, two on front and one in the drive through and three runners. The manager stood in the back talking with hands on hips. Not once did he interject or try to get the line down or even communicate the issue reported by the staff. Whoever he was, I'm not impressed by him. Please promote the young lady who communicated and was a team player. She is the VIP and deserves the title. I got my donuts but somehow my coffee order was missed. After a 10 min wait for it, I inquired. The cashier was apologetic but it took a second inquiry and about 15 mins more to get my medium hot mocha. So, my donut was fresh and of good size. I love Krispy Kreme. I was extremely disappointed with my first visit here though. We ordered half a dozen donuts and a sprite for the road. The only donut that tasted fresh was the original glazed. Out of the 6 we ordered, one of them was a strawberry glaze with sprinkles. We ordered from the display at the front, but they said they were out, which was confusing because we see them in front of us (so maybe they weren't fresh?), so they said it would take a while, but they would make us a fresh one. So in our excitement for a fresh donut, we wait about 10-15 minutes. Upon biting into my "freshly made donut" I made a face in disgust. Fresh KK donuts melt in your mouth. This one was hard and not fresh at all. The one we wait 10+ minutes for was sitting out for a while, and they just added the extra frosting and sprinkled it. It was definitely not worth the wait. The sprite tasted awful (they may need a new pack of the soda syrup), as it tasted like carbonated water. This location will definitely need some quality control in order to keep it open. read more

Terrible experience! I placed an online order for 2 dozen donuts, one of the dozen being the limited strawberry flavor. I was expecting curbside pickup so when I arrived, I pulled around to the front of the store. The place looked closed which concerned me so I turned off my car and was about to get out when I saw a face in the window. The person inside was shaking their head at me and giving me a clear NO hand gesture. I was mouthing "Online" over and over but the person just walked away from the window. So I decided to go to the drive thru. I say into the "order here" machine "Hello?". No answer. "HELLO?" Finally a response " Ma'am, can you please stop yelling into the mic?" Anyway, I inform this person I had an online order and he tells me to pull around. I did, in full compliance, mask and all. I give him my name and tell him I ordered 2 dozen donuts. "Hope you didn't order strawberry, we ain't got none." My heart fell, that sucked. He asked if I wanted a refund. I told him to refund the one dozen, but the other was simple glazed. They should have those right? No, they didn't have those either, at least not for ANOTHER HOUR (how long does it take???). The employee said they'd refund me and walked away from the window. I sat there a while for him to come back, but he never did. I checked my account and there's still the original charge, no refund. I ordered a full dozen of the original glazed doughnuts (when the hot sign was on). They were hot, as fresh as possible and almost made it to the car. Like I said, I ordered a full dozen. I must admit that those were the best 9 doughnuts we ever shared. The line in the drive through was super slow. We waited for at least 5 minutes and not a single car moved. I walked in and was out in under 5min. I was the only customer inside. It seemed like the people working were confused?! No one seemed to be able to get an order to the people in the drive through. Not sure why this location is rated so low. My daughter and I went through the drive through around 7:30 on a Saturday night. It was quick and the guy at the pickup window was really nice. I got a 3 pack of regular glazed, and my kid got a cake batter donut. She said the sprinkles were a little hard, but I told her she should have waited to get home to warm it up anyway. Guys hadn't even started making them and I asked an employee if we could just get the donuts and leave and he mumbled and pointed to the side. We were the only people at the location and when I asked if we could just get the donuts and leave again the same employee didn't say anything to us. Terrible communication on all aspects. These workers should be fired and the company management staff needs to step in and make a change if they actually want to make good money/reviews. This location is horrible about having Hot donuts. Today the sign was lit and the app showed the Hot Now was going. Pulled through the drive through about 5:25 pm asked for hotbdonits told they were not selling them until 6:00 pm. Previous time I went w as s a morning drive through asked for 1 dozen Hot donuts, yes the sign was on. Drive to the window paid for my donuts pulled away from the drive thru window to find the donuts were not Hot. The time prior to that around Halloween when they had the themed donuts they didn't have any of those except the display case showing you you the options of donuts. Got here with my daughter for daddy daughter donut day. Was worried because of bad reviews but she liked her sprinkle donut and I got a hot glazed iff the belt. Friendly service. The premade sprinkle donut wasn't super fresh but not stale. Got backed up quickly when people started coming in. Good timing for us. Quickly updating to 5 stars. Looks like I'm lucky when it comes to Krispy Kreme. I was over in this side of route 40 because a couple friends wanted to get Iron Age. If you don't know what Iron Age is, it's basically a Korean bbq buffet. So as you can imagine, I was full. Could barely eat anymore and then I started walking to my car to go home. Then I saw the hot sign for Krispy Kreme on bright and red. I knew that I probably shouldn't get donuts and should've just gone home but I'm a weak man. I rushed over and got there when donuts were still being made. Ordered not 1 but 2 donuts!!! After a Korean bbq buffet that left no room in my stomach, I got 2 warm glazed fresh donuts. It's been so long since I've seen a Krispy Kreme, so I stopped by for a coffee and donut. It was the afternoon so they had run out of some of the donuts. The display case was quite large and a lot of the donuts were repeated on opposite sides making it look like there were more options than there really were. I ended up getting the glazed blueberry, and it was scrumptious. The coffee was standard and I was surprised that they brewed me a fresh cup. They're better than Dunkin' Donuts, cheaper than "Diablo Doughnuts" in the city, and fresher than any other donuts I've ever had. There is a doughnut for everyone's taste, whether you're into glazed, filled, fritters, cakes, or yeast doughnuts! :D I highly recommend the OG (glazed doughnuts) when they're hot off the roller, and the OG with chocolate icing! Definitely order at least a dozen for yourself because they're still airy & soft the next day (if they last 'til then, hehe). The first time I tried a Krispy Kreme donut was at this place and it left me disappointed. I've heard so much hoopla about Krispy Kreme donuts that my expectations became really high and the taste didn't match up. I ordered a dozen donuts consisting of glazed, sour cream, chocolate cake and blueberry cake. Apart from the glazed one, the others were way too sweet for my palate. The glazed donut is the saving grace and maybe if I had gotten only these, then maybe, my rating would be much higher. These ones are so soft and fluffy but most importantly, they taste amazing. If I go back then I might only get these. Talking about the place, it's very neat and organized. They have an "open kitchen" where you get to see the donuts being made and most of the time, they'll give you donuts that were freshly made. Also, the employees are nice and helpful. This location used to be a McDonald's and is located off of route 40 in Catonsville in the same shopping center of Applebee, Five Below, Aldis, and Office Depot. I live in Columbia and was glad to see Krispy Kreme open a location close to me. Tried them the day after grand opening and man was it packed still. Every employee I saw working were VERY friendly and felt genuinely happy to help you. You rarely see that anymore. Like all Krispy Kreme they have a open bake area where you can watch them make the dough, and see the how the donuts are fried, flipped, and glazed. Felt like a little kid again watching the donuts go thru the glazing machine. I ordered half a dozen of donuts, and a large cup of coffee. Requested 2 glaze off the line and they didn't hesitate at all to accommodate my request. I think that the #1 reason why anyone would go to a Krispy Kreme location is to get a hot and fresh donut. I mean you could go into a gas station, and get a Krispy Kreme donut but you don't get the same experience as getting a fresh donut that just melts in your mouth. The woman taking our order was rude from the beginning trying to rush us as I tried to look at the menu. I finally decided on one of the specialty St Pattys Day ones as they were promoted on the sign. "We're out of those. The promotion ended yesterday." She said w/ an attitude. Ooooook. Drove 25 mins to this place. For a spot that doesn't close until 10pm, how are they out of glazed donuts for the day by 6pm? Also, when I walked in 4 hrs before close they are making a fresh batch of glaze but they claim its for the next morning when the store opens. While there were glazed in the display case by the register, the employee said those werent being sold because they don't have any more. They only had like 5 flavors available, none of which were on the display rack but instead on a rack multiple feet from the store front where I could barely read the labels. I thought it was a fun idea to get donuts delivered on National Donut Day via Ubereats. I ordered two 3 packs and 1 Fan Favs dozen . The dozen donuts were $24.99 by themselves and they were missing from my delivery. Upon contacting Ubereats and Krispy Kreme , neither have provided me with a refund or any resolution. Very disappointing but their mistake isn't what's causing my choice to not use their services again, it was the unwillingness to fix the issue and refund my bank account. read more
