Extremely disappointed. Was told at the drive-thru this morning that the donut holes were glazed. I was handed a cup with a lid on top and right away I could tell the donuts were not glazed; they were cake. Moreover, they were old and not made that day. The cashier even confirmed that. This Krispy Kreme is average. I've never said anything bad about a donut before but these donuts were very mediocre. I've been to other Krispy Kreme's before but this one was not as good. I ordered a chocolate donut and a dozen donut holes. The chocolate donut was fine and managed to partially satisfy my craving of a donut but the donut holes were so bad that I ended up giving them away. The two young people working at this location this evening were disappointing. I finished ordering in the drive through and my "thank you" to the lady taking my order was responded to with "yep", and not your welcome. Once I got to the window to get my order, the young man taking my payment was too busy talking with his female coworker to pay attention. I got the order and said to him "thank you have a nice night", but before I could finish my sentence, he slammed the drive through window shut. What a shame. The doughnuts are delicious. I'm so excited to finally be able to get Krispy Kreme donuts without having to drive 45 minutes away! I'm sure this location will be here for a long time. I visited yesterday and was going to wait in the drive thru line but it was way too long. The security guard told me it was about 45 minutes in the drive thru line, but if I went inside it was only going to be 15 minutes. So I decided to walk in and order, I was only in there for about 10 minutes from start to finish. The line inside moved very quickly, the only thing was that the employee assisting me kept asking me if I wanted anything else even after I told him three times that I was still looking at the drinks selection. I understand they were busy and they wanted to keep the line moving so I ended up not ordering a drink and only got my donuts. Brand new Krispy Kreme and it's already off to a bad start. They are open until 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on the weekends. We came later in the evening - around 10pm on a Friday. There were several cars in the drive-thru already. When it was our turn they were out of creme-filled and custard-filled donuts. Plus, they didn't have hot donuts available. I asked about them and was told through the speaker that the last time they made hot donuts was 6 pm that day. I mean come on.... Hallelujah! Finally a Krispy Kreme in the North County area! It's in a tight little shop where the Burger King use to be. You can mobile order, go inside, or drive thru. I've gone three times since they opened and I always do drive thru. Luckily every time I've gone, there isn't a crazy line. There is a variety donuts to pick from. Some are limited time donuts. Example, they had 3 different Reese's peanut putter donuts. Now they are only down to the Reese's classic donut. Some aren't available at all like the maple bar or chocolate bar. Maybe they will bring them back someday but it doesn't bother me. All is good for me as long as they have my favorite donut, the maple glaze. Can't go wrong with their original glaze or their creme filed donut. The donuts are always soft, light, and nicely glazed. It is a little expensive. One donut is going to cost you almost $2 but I can't resist those sweet little sinkers. I just love Krispy Kreme Doughnuts :) read more

We normally go to other Krispy Kreme's and have no problems but we went to this location a few days ago because we live 5 minutes away. The donuts were great, like always. But WHYYYYY did the lemonade taste like a pack of cigarettes were soaking in it overnight!? Yes! It tasted like a cigarette! My husband thought it tasted off so he let me try it and something was definitely wrong. It didn't even taste relatively close to a lemonade. Now I'm scrolling on Facebook tonight and I see a post about a worker from this location being told to put donuts on a wet tray (wet from dish water...the tray is not air dried) and she can't believe they asked her to do that. In the thread, another woman said her iced coffee tasted like "old cigarette butt water" and that's exactly how I would describe the lemonade. What's going on!? This store is a new location that just opened. I arrived thinking it would be a long wait, but surprisingly the store was empty. There were hot, fresh donuts coming out on the belt being frosted. The store was cleaned and employees practiced covid procedures. There were about 5 employees that were mostly huddled by the drive through window, which was confusing to me, but I was helped by a girl named keilani right away. She even waited for the freshest donuts to package for me, which I was pleased with, excellent customer service. First visit was a disappointment. They were out of a ton of Doughnut flavors. Unfortunately, the doughnuts were also all cold! The best part about Krispy Kreme is the Warm Glazed Doughnuts!! Second visit finally got Warm Glazed Doughnuts!! They were soooooo yummy!! Glazed Doughnut Holes are a big no! Too cakey and not fresh! No where near the same as their Glazed Doughnuts. Finally, a Krispy Kreme in North County! I didn't realize Krispy Kreme was opening where Burger King used to be so it's interesting to see a storefront in that plaza. To maintain social distancing, mobile order pick up, delivery, and drive thru are encouraged! I decided to experience the drive thru. LOCATION: 2/5 It's in a very odd place and the way they tried to configure the drive thru waiting line is so confusing until the officer has to direct you to to get into the actual drive thru next to where the car wash is... but sometimes someone can just pull into the actual drive thru while you're waiting in line and they wouldn't stop them from doing so. There are a bunch of cones that customers have to drive through to wait in line, it's a mess. Honestly, I 100% recommend mobile order and picking it up because it's way faster than the drive thru. I wonder why they would put the location here knowing that it will be popular and create a lot of traffic around that parking lot. Note, they do not have all the donuts from the website are shown on the drive thru menu. Because it's a small location, they do not offer all the donuts. Lowkey, I felt a bit anxious when I realized this and I can't imagine someone trying to look at a drive thru menu and figure out what they want. The location still offers some other Krispy Kreme drinks and all like other stores, just a limited selection. DONUTS: 4/5 I bought half dozen donuts of the following donuts: Cake batter, Glazed, Chocolate iced with Kreme filling, strawberry iced with sprinkles. Maple iced, cinnamon sugar. Even in hot weather, they tasted fresh and of course, my favorite is the classic glazed donut. My friend really enjoyed the lightness of the chocolate iced with Kreme filling. I wish they had a larger selection of donuts but this will satisfy my hunger. SPEED: 3/5 (Drive thru) Probably took around 15 minutes on a Monday around 4pm to receive my donuts at the window. I think this varies between how fast the people in front of you order but I have a feeling that this will be the average time if there are people already waiting in the waiting line and the actual drive thru line. Like I mentioned earlier, if you don't know the limited menu, like most people wouldn't?? the wait is going to be longer so they should place an additional menu somewhere so people waiting can figure it out. Overall: 3/5 Unfortunately, the location is in a good plaza but a weird store location that I know will cause some sort of auto mess without officers controlling traffic. Because I only experienced the drive thru, which was a mess getting into, I recommend online ordering and picking it up. It's way faster and you'll be able to take home these nice looking donuts way 15 minutes faster than me waiting in the drive thru. Hopefully, they get more organized and figure out logistics. My husband and I stopped by today Tuesday just before 8:30am. As you can see from the pictures, selection and availability was somewhat limited. We each got two donuts. My husband wanted a cake donut but all they had was pumpkin cake which he got and said it was just okay. We both had the original glaze which also was just okay. My other selection was a maple glaze which also was okay. All of the donuts were on the lighter side so don't expect a denser more flavorful donut here. I know donuts are fried and expect them to be greasy but these seemed more greasy than others. Four donuts cost $6.96. I do give 5 stars for the service and Covid protocol. Server was friendly and helpful. Everyone was wearing a mask properly. Place appeared clean. There's even a hands free hand sanitizer dispenser by the exit door. read more

I was shopping at the Boot Barn yesterday and saw a Krispy Kreme donut shop - it's been almost 20 years since I went into a Krispy Kreme shop - bad experience with a customer not the donuts, although I have had them when someone brought them to work - that seems like a long time ago too - going to work and people bringing in goodies to share lol. Anyway, this shop was ultra clean, the people we super friendly, and my donuts were fresh and the coffee was seriously delicious. Lol So I ordered 4 - 2 for hubby and 2 me - they're little was my justification. And 2 coffees. The glazed was so delicious I ate it before I got out of the store - so good - so fresh - yummy!!! Fresh and it was about 2 in the afternoon. Krispy Kreme donuts were usually like eating a spoon full of sugar mixed with some stuff - don't know what exactly - I just wasn't a fan. But these were GOOD. The jelly Omgoodness I can't even describe it. My husband said over-the-top. The jelly was fresh, the taste was amazing. I was expecting mediocre meh a donut - BUT seriously they were a real treat - definitely changed my Krispy Kreme perception. I'm going back to this place to have them again, they were that good. AND we ordered our coffees made with cream and sugar - simple right - They were so good - that guy killed it. I'm telling you exceptionally good.
