I finallyyyy know what everyone has been raving about. this was my first Krispy Kreme experience, and it was fantabulous. tucked right off the roadway in Kissimmee, this unassuming little shop is churning out the fluffiest, sweetest, most addicting little pillows of diabeeetus. I mean sugar. I mean doughnuts. I don't think I'll ever eat another DD donut. I might just be easily entertained, but watching the donuts get made on the line was super amusing. I was mesmerized. I tried again ,Seems like new staff and still! I don't know but maybe the staff do not know how to differentiate Glazed chocolate frosted from Cake chocolate frosted or Glazed chocolate from Chocolate cake. Today, 12/24/19 was the first time I placed an order via their on line service for a customized order of doughnuts for pick-up. Well they need to do some reviewing of their service because first my order was not ready at the allotted time for pick-up, secondly; my customized order contained only 1/2 of the doughnuts that I ordered, third; they advertised a Holiday dozen in which they referenced specific doughnuts( 4 types-3 of each of those types) that were in that special dozen and out of that I only received one of the advertised types. I know some will feel that I am being overly picky and critical, but for me if I specify a specific time for pick-up I expect the order to be ready for pick-up and if I pick out specific doughnuts for my order that's what I want not a substitution of your choice, and if they make it a point to advertise special doughnuts for a promotion then that too is what I expect. At this time of year knowing how busy it will be as a business they need to anticipate and have enough of their products available. This will be the one and only time that I place trust in their service to deliver to me what I order and will not use their on-line option or even recommend it to anyone else to use. read more

I've been to Krispy Kreme stores before- so I do take some responsibility for "should have known better". Should have known better than to stop in when the "HOT NOW" neon sign wasn't on. My original glazed lacked that melt-in-your-mouth quality of the hot fresh ones and just wasn't delicious. But when we get to the register we waited another 10 minutes because one of the four employees on staff told us she was required to fill mobile orders before waiting on physical customers... While on vacation in FL I noticed a Krispy Kreme not to far from our hotel and as a parent I knew we had to take our son to see the donut making process. My husband says they are too sweet, even the pain old fashion donut. My son and I thought they were really good. His eyes glowed watching the donuts drop into the fryer and get flipped and glazed.
