The fresh, hot and FREE donut they give out when they're making the donuts is right up as one of the greatest sweet treats I've ever eaten. It simply melts in your mouth. For the uninitiated, when the big round center of the Krispy Kreme sign outside is lit up, they're making donuts. This means that you can watch as the machines drop rings of donut batter into the hot oil, see them cook on one side before they're mechanically flipped, before finally going up the conveyor belt to be glazed under a waterfall of pure sugary goodness. This is also when you're handed your hot and fresh donut! The selection at Krispy Kreme isn't very big but what they do make, tastes dang good. They really only have a couple of varieties - classic round dressed up in several different styles, and filled donuts with different glazes and fillings. If you're looking for variety, maybe you should try another donut shop. Along with their donuts they sell hot coffee (and cold, too, I think), milk, and some juice. There are hats for the kids, and merchandise to show your loyalty. They have a sufficient amount of seating, and even have newspapers for your reading pleasure. I give this location zero stars. Please do not waste your time or money buying anything from this location. Absolutely the worst service ever. Placed an online order with specific donuts that were available on the website. After waiting in the drive thru line we finally got our box, only to find out they didn't fill the box according to our order. This was at 7pm! The store is closed for patrons due to covid, but looking in the window it looks like it was ready for a wholesale auction. Anyway, went back thru the line to let them know that they didn't get my order right. So they started making excuses about everything. Took the box back and updated the box, but not according to my original order. I was watching them through the window. They just gave me a box of glazed. Sadly, this is the second time they jacked our order. First time I chalked it up as a mistake and what the hell, we got donuts, but this time it was inexcusable. We went to this location tonight because the hot now sign was on. It was on when we pulled into the parking lot, while we were in line(4 cars ahead of us) and so I ordered a dozen glazed doughnuts so excited to share hot now doughnuts with my son for the first time. I sooooo wanna dock a star for the fat content and lack of nutrition, but having a hot glazed KK donut is like great sex! We were finishing up our sushi dinner and the subject of KK donuts came up. M said "I don't think they're all that." I think Mr. elsa f wanted to reach across the table and slap her. Apparently, she never had a KK donut from a KK store! I stand comitted to my belief that there is crack in these doughnuts. How else can you explain the abnormal fixation to these little morsals of heaven? I don't know about you, but I feel like a complete slob and hate myself dearly everytime I go here or see a box of KK's. Reason being is that after I eat one, I JUST CAN'T STOP!! The process usually goes in the order of 3-2-1, and then I'm done. But in any case, this place is aweseom for doughnuts. Shiply's is pretty good too, but a little more expensive. KK is great in terms of variety and price. I also like it how if you order a dozen they place the doughbuts flat on thier backs, almost as if they're sleeping comfy in bed, while other doughnut shops will place them side by side on thier sides. They look almost militant. Who wants to gorge on a militant looking doughnut? That's not happiness at $0.69 a doughnut! Also, KK rolls out a few new doughnuts every few months and makes for good variety. Thier products are just great all around. I usually make a very late night trip here when I start wanting something sweet. I love that they are open til midnight on weekends... they are my go-to place for late night sweets.
