I am devouring my 2nd heart shaped donuts as I'm typing this. BTW - Happy Valentine's Day!!! I remember last year I bought dinner for myself on this day: Taco Bell and the year before that, I was at Santana Row w/ other singletons but this year is different and do you know why? Krispy Kreme's glazed donut is a classic and a must eat, especially for those who continue to walk by it... I went outside the box today to try their seasonal donuts: Lemon Kreme Cake donut & the Peach Pie donut. Both were ok. I'm not much of a cake-type donut per say, so the lemon donut was a 3 star. The peach donut was ok as well, 3 stars. It didn't wow me because it was way too sweet! Nearly threw up when I found more than one strain of hair in the donut as I cut them in small pieces to feed my son. Service was terrible, plus manager is trash. Heard from a couple buddies the work environment was horrendous. Hence why the employees are always exhausted, from the mental warfare going on there. This location is not great. The cashier is grumpy and whoever makes The donuts is sloppy. I ordered 4 cinnamon rolls thats only made on sundays plus a chocolate custard filled donuts. The cinnamon rolls do not look very appealing. They are not nice and rounded with a swirl you usually expect. The custard filled one is tiny and lob-sided. There is no care for making a good looking donut you expect. The taste was not great either. It doesn't have that melt in your mouth, fluffy taste I was expecting. I am writing this review solely based on my experience in this store. I LOVE Krispy Kreme donuts. I had a 3-hour meeting scheduled first thing in the morning and wanted to treat everyone to something that would sweeten up their day and keep them awake. Everyone loves Krispy Kreme and they are one of my all-time favorites. I drove right up and parked right in front of the store.  Score!  I ordered a "Baker's dozen" and noticed there was a sticker on the box that said 12. So when I looked inside the box and only saw 12 donuts; I asked why there only 12?  The young woman replied, "that is a dozen."  I asked her again for a "Baker's dozen" and she proceeded to explain to me that a dozen is 12. She also added that "when Uber delivers your donuts to you in UberEats they call it a Baker's dozen"  Ok so, sometimes I am a stickler for facts and I overshare.  At this point, I pulled out my phone and Googled "Baker's Dozen" and shared the definition with her.  I simply googled What is a Baker's Dozen? She read the definition "Baker's dozen means 13 instead of 12"   She then smiled and said a dozen is 12.  All I can say is that maybe, just maybe if you work in a bakery you just might want to familiarize yourself with the industry lingo, or at the least be open to new phrases and things in life. read more
