This is the closest Krispy Kreme location in San Jose and its my go-to when ever I'm in the mood to devour that hot and fresh soft glazed donut. My favorite donuts are: original glazed, custard filled and anything chocolate. But today they have a limited edition "COFFEE Filled" Donut! I can't wait to try it and dunk it in my coffee. The parking lot is big enough to find parking but trying to park anywhere near here is sometimes a gamble. This plaza has nothing but food/restaurants and parking fills up fast. ProTip: you can get them delivered. Go to the business on Yelp and save yourself some time, have it delivered. Also, If you're feeling adventurous by a original glazed doughnut cut it in half and substitute the In-N-Out bun, And enjoy the best burger you've never had. Also download the app and scan your membership prior to purchasing and u get points for purchasing. I am giving this place 4 out of 5 stars due to the parking which was really bad but luckily i found a spot right in front. But I saw all types of cars going in and out. I got a chocolate filled heart shaped donut, another heart shaped donut but w/ white frosting, pink sprinkles, a red velvet donut, and a double chocolate donut (it has chocolate filling, too!). While some pamper or spoil themselves w/ massages, spa packages, or retail therapy (I am not into Coach, Gucci, or whatever those high end brands are) but I do spoil myself w/ food and this morning's diet murder breakfast cost me about $6! This place is so damn busy all the time. There's always a line here. Prices are decent and they always have deals. If you frequent the place, they even have an app with even better deals and rewards. Krispy Kreme's glazed donut is a classic and a must eat, especially for those who continue to walk by it... I know, Krispy Kreme can be a bit of a hype, but it continues to stand it's ground under the "glazed" territory. I went outside the box today to try their seasonal donuts: Lemon Kreme Cake donut & the Peach Pie donut. Both were ok. I'm not much of a cake-type donut per say, so the lemon donut was a 3 star. The peach donut was ok as well, 3 stars. It didn't wow me because it was way too sweet! The donut is already glazed, plus the frosting on top of it, which was very sweet, and more added toppings on top... -__- . I thought the service here was really great. The workers are friendly, kind, and patient. My favorite doughnut here is the chocolate glazed cake doughnut, but they were out of it. I called 30mins before to let them know and was told that as I had a Groupon, it'll be first come first serve for the donuts and maybe a wait up to 10mins to have them made if they run out when I arrived. This location is not great. The cashier is grumpy and whoever makes The donuts is sloppy. I ordered 4 cinnamon rolls thats only made on sundays plus a chocolate custard filled donuts. The cinnamon rolls do not look very appealing. They are not nice and rounded with a swirl you usually expect. The custard filled one is tiny and lob-sided. There is no care for making a good looking donut you expect. The taste was not great either. It doesn't have that melt in your mouth, fluffy taste I was expecting.
