I'm so bummed! We were so excited about Krispy Kreme when we remembered it was open we made a late night drive because we read that the drive in was open till 11. Drove 20 minutes to only be turned away at 1020. We tried to call before to double check the hours but no answer. If you say your drive in is open till 11 let it stay open till 11. We will probably try again once the newness wares off and they get some people working who want to sell doughnuts read more

I wanted a change of pace from my usual donut stop so I dropped into Krispy Kreme this morning. 6 little donuts cost me just under $15. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is the donuts taste good although each one is about 3 bites. I had been wondering why their parking lot is always empty, now I know why. Lady at the register said she wouldn't honor a reward because her manager didn't allow my son to pick it up for me, it had to be an adult. So I went myself to avoid any further issues. My birthday was 4 days ago, my birthday offer doesn't expire until the 7th of next month, I tried showing her and she still refused to honor my reward because the system said it's expired and she can't find my phone number. I've never had an issue redeeming anything, so I asked her if she can get her manager to assist me with the issue and she said, "I am the manager". Mind you, this lady just said that her manager earlier wouldn't let my son pick up, now all of a sudden she's the manager. Definitely never going back, disgusted by the lack of service she provided. Lady's name supposedly was Lorena. Lacks management skills such as customer service and problem solving skills. 0 stars in my opinion. Get better managers. read more

As a Krispy Kreme employee, I'm very sorry to anyone that had a bad experience at our location! The first opening week was very busy and we are always trying our best! At times when we were out of doughnuts, it was most likely because a lot of people order over 5 dozens at a time or because we had a fundraiser order that took a lot of our doughnuts. As for customer service we are trying our best, I know it may not seem like it but we really are. But, if there really was just a rude employee I'm very sorry and we don't want you to feel that way! Wandered in about 1900, no other customers in the lobby. Zero greeting or acknowledgement until I addressed someone directly behind the counter to ask the availability of a particular flavor, and was met with a flat "I think we're out", with a return to counting empty trays or whatever they were doing. Stopped by the new Krispy Kreme in Sparks this morn. I was sorry I did. Ordered two Krispy Kreme filled chocolate topped donuts and two Apple Fritters, along with a Vanilla Latte. The donuts were HORRIBLY sweet. It was like pouring sugar in your mouth. The chocolate frosting on top of the two donuts also tasted like it was made of/with pure sugar. As for the Apple Fritters, they were overly sweet as well. Hardly any taste of apple. The Latte was good with just a right touch of coffee. No need to add any sugar as the donuts/Fritters would more then make up for it. The initial waiting lines seem to be over with, except at peak hours, I am sure. My compliments to the associate Diego, he's doing everything RIGHT! After waiting 10+ years for Krispy Kreme to make a comeback to Reno, at long last the doors have finally reopened. I'm not thrilled it's a bit of a drive from my house but it's well worth it. The lines are ungodly long but that doesn't surprise me! They are THAT yummy plus the store just opened three days ago! I ordered online and went to pick it up in store. A lovely associate directed me around the long line to the online order pickup line where I easily was able to grab my order. I even asked if I could get an extra chocolate glazed doughnut to go. Diego was super friendly and efficient and gave me not one but two doughnuts on the house no extra charge! They are working fast pace to keep the doughnuts rolling hot off the press and I am here for it. So glad Krispy Kreme finally came back to my home town. I was drawn in by the HOT DONUT sign. I placed a small order at the drive through which included a hot original glazed donut and two mini donuts. When I pulled up to the window I regretted not trying one of the cute Halloween special donuts and asked if I could add one to my order. The employee didn't seem very happy that I asked to add something, the reaction sort of akin to me asking her to cut off her left arm. Whatever, that's fine, she's not happy with her job and I can't change that. My order was around $6.57 and I paid with $20. I received only $13 in bills back for my change. Now .43 isn't going to break me, but I asked shouldn't I have some change. The response was we don't have any, we are out of coins. Okay, still thinking that was odd and it appeared to be very normal operating procedures for her??? I would have appreciated knowing that before I paid with cash and may have changed my form of payment... I'm not into donating to businesses. I don't know why, but it totally rubbed me the wrong and really pissed me off. To add insult to injury, my donut was not piping hot, but rather stone cold. I don't usually do this, but I contacted Krispy Kreme through their website to explain what occurred, it asked me if I wanted to be contacted and I said yes... and so far crickets. Again, it's not the money it's the ethics of the business or lack there of... I also thought back to my retail days and this was a method of theft used by some cashiers to skim cash from the registers undetected. Worst customer service I have seen from a company in a long time. Every where I looked to confirm their store hours it said 10:00 for a Saturday night. Even on this Yelp page it says 11:00. So I placed an order at 9:30. 2 hours later the system finally sent me a message that the order was canceled because the store was closed. Upset by this I called to speak to the manager this morning. Of course the 12 yr olds they have running this place confirmed for me it's not their problem. They have no control over the hours That's it's all corporate doing. In order for me to get the correct hours I need to look at their door which has the correct hours. Lot of good this does when you are using a delivery Service for your order. Now I have to go there to pick up my own order I paid 25.00 for 11.00 of which were service charges and tips. thanks for nothing, what's the purpose of a manager that css as n fix this kinds of issues. I called prior to going there to see if they had Assorted Minis . The lady on the phone said yes . So on my way home I stopped by and went through the drive through . I asked again before I order if they had assorted minis and was told yes . I went ahead and ordered them . I get up to the window and paid . Once I got my receipt and donuts , they were all chocolate sprinkle and 3 chocolate glazed . I asked the guy Alex at the window and he said oh this is all we have. Ok so when I asked could you maybe just say we do have minis but only chocolate sprinkles and chocolate glazed ? This way people aren't stuck with something they don't want ? If I wanted all chocolate I would order all chocolate . Communication is key people . I don't care for the chocolate so I ended up giving them to my son to take to work . Their doughnuts are absolutely amazing, but they don't deliver out where I live and getting out there is a huge struggle. I wish they'd expand their delivery out near Damonte Ranch. Because of COVID I understand why there's not many people working inside and the drive thru, they're doing their best. I was so excited to go to the new Krispy Kreme Donuts that opened 03/15/2021 in Sparks NV. (Note: Krispy Kreme Donuts had previously opened in Reno NV back in 2000 and closed shortly thereafter.) I got into the long customer line and checked out the good selection of donuts. But, the cashier/clerks said if you only want a dozen of the regular glazed donuts, you could jump the line and pay. So, I purchased a box of a dozen for $11.99. When I got the donuts home, I was most disappointed. The dozen donuts appeared small and inconsistent in their size; some were close to the size of the "mini sized" donuts they sell for a lesser price. These glazed donuts were too sweet and when reheated 8 seconds in the microwave, as per box instructions, the donuts texture was much too gummy; literally like eating donut dough bubble gum. Regrettably, I was very much disappointed in the new Krispy Kreme given the quality of the other donut shops in Reno/Sparks NV; Krispy Kreme donuts are smaller, too sweet, and not a good value compared to the competition. I expect locals will rediscover why they stopped going to Krispy Kreme for donuts back in the early 2000's -- they're overpriced, poorer product than the other local Donut Shops, and way too sweet - too much sugar!! read more

My son asked for krispy creme donuts for his 18th birthday celebration. I placed my order online the day before the scheduled pickup. When I arrived, my order was not filled. I did not receive a call that they didn't have my order. I paid online and was asked to pay again because something was supposedly wrong with the order. However, I have double charges on my credit card - in store and online. I will not go back as you can go to doughboys donuts and they will write happy birthday on the donut and have it exactly the way you ordered it. Went to there for the last 2 years. Ridiculously long lines with lack of customer service as well as out of almost all donuts and menu items - something as simple as vanilla syrup should be stocked and filled but they seem to be running low on..I get it, they are new and it's exciting, but the owner was in no way prepared for the grand opening.
