Out of original glazed!? This place sucks. I will go to any other Krispy Kreme but if you ask me, there isn't a real Krispy Kreme in Sparks.

Long line ( we understand because newly open ) But the reason for poor review is we waiting in the long line ( 30+ minutes) so when ordering a classic assorted dozen we chose to let them pick our assortment to spend up the lime for the others waiting . Went outta my way after softball to get a dozen donuts. Drive thru and store closed at 8:24pm. 9pm close time is BS.

I've been here 4 out 5 times and the experience gets worse each time. Service is very slow and variety is limited.

I tried a KK donut about ten years ago. Due to the convenience of the drive-through, I was convinced to try it again today. Yuck. That was the softest, sweetest doughnut I've ever had. The list of flavors was pretty short, and they were out of quite a few flavors before 3pm. No thank you. Reno and Sparks have lots of doughnuts that are much better than KK. I prefer to patronize local businesses. read more

I love that we have a Krispy Kreme back in the Sparks/Reno area! The doughnuts here are always so fresh and they have a consistent taste! The drive thru looked very busy, but I was able to walk right in and place my order. I will definitely be making this a routine stop when I'm in the mood for doughnuts. read more

It's great to see Krispy Kreme back in the Biggest Little City. To be perfectly honest, we have some amazing Mom-and-Pop doughnut shops already and they are far superior, but there's just something about Krispy Kreme's original glaze doughnuts that you just crave every now and then. The lines were ridiculously long during the grand opening, but have since died down. Now you can usually get in and out of the place in a few minutes. Nonetheless, its helpful to order ahead of time on the app and just pick it up at the counter. The staff are friendly, but I'm giving them a lower score because they don't seems to be up to date with the promotions the franchise does. For St. Patrick's Day, they were supposed to sell their O'riginal Glazed Doughnuts (which is just their glazed donut colored green). When I ordered it and took it home, imagine my surprise when I opened it and none of them were green. A silly thing to knock the review down, but don't advertise it if you're not going to do it. Also a few weeks back, they had the return of their Strawberry Glazed Doughnuts for a limited time, but they were always out (even when you showed up first thing in the morning). Overall, not a bad experience and if you're ever craving Krispy Kreme, there's a place to satisfy that craving in Northern Nevada. read more

I am so happy that KK is back! I've been missing the freshly baked glazed donuts melting in my mouth. I've been here a handful of times and every time, it's been good. When they had Oreo donut specials, of course I had to jump on it. Honestly, I hope they keep an Oreo donut creation on their menu. I like trying their new flavored glazed donuts. And so far, it's been delicious and sweet. Sometimes a bit too sweet, but you can't really knock on that. It's their thing! The employees there have so helpful, accommodating, friendly, and so polite. Finally, some nice people around here!!! My family will be coming back for sure. While there was a line in the drive thru (understandable), it was totally worth it! This is my absolute favorite donut chain, I just wish there was another location! Since they're so popular, all of the donuts are basically hot and ready when you get them. I always get a dozen assorted and a dozen original glazed. Ordered in the drive thru this morning with my 3 kids and the guy who took our order was awesome. Younger kid with kinda curly brown hair and I think glasses.....I didn't get his name (I had my 3 boys in the car, what do you want from me?). Anyways, we were taking a little longer due to my son not having his mind made up, since it is his 8th birthday (!) and I told him he could get whatever he wanted! The guy working the drive thru heard me and immediately was hella enthusiastic about it being my son's birthday!! My kids face lit up after he was offered a free donut for his birthday! Finally went today,never been a fan of their glazed donuts too sweet for my taste but always been a fan of their jelly donut and their custard filled donuts,so that being said I went today waited 2 weeks to let the lines go down. Went at 930 and got 2 chocolate custard filled and asked for the jelly and they had none I was surprised, its early still and u have easily 700 preboxed glazed donuts but no jelly filled so very disappointed. I went to the cashier amd took out 3 dollars figuring these 2 little donuts can't be more than 3 dollars I was wrong lol 3.38 for 2 very small custard filled donts??? So without going on forever if u want glazed go to Krispy kreme if u don't.... don't. Oh I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because the 2 donuts I had were good. read more

So many of these negative reviews are about things that should be expected on opening weekend. So here is an honest opinion about what's important, the donuts! I got here at 730am, no line, packed display case, friendly staff, and a beautiful view in store of all the donuts being made fresh! It was beautiful to watch that glaze coat a fresh batch of donuts. Everything I tried (an assorted half dozen) was fresh and flavorful. Personally, they were super sweet and a bit heavy handed with the glaze, but that's just my preference. read more

Decided to get some Krispy Kreme after the long lines finished. My bf and I walked right in and got our glazed donuts within 5 minutes! So easy. The staff was nice and quick. I haven't had Krispy Kreme in years and it was very nostalgic. I remember getting KK in high school when I used to give students a free donut for every A they got on their report card. Wonder if that's still a thing! Recommend if you are looking for that nostalgic feel. Of course, I usually buy my donuts from local biz -- but Krispy Kreme is good every once in a while. read more

Completely unsanitary, while waiting in line, I watched several different employees, handling, dirty objects, scratching their hair, handling money all without changing the gloves I've been wearing, for God only knows how long. Staff is also rude, makes no effort to acknowledge a customer standing at their counter, and when you show up during the hours where they're supposed to have fresh hot donuts not only do they do not have fresh hot donuts but give you attitude if you ask. There are 3 days until Christmas! I never eat this kind of food or sugar, but the apartment complex that I live in, I am told, all the employees like Krispy Kreme! So I headed down to Sparks location where I live around 8am when I thought it would be quiet! It was jammed and of course the drive thru and the inside lobby were full of people! The most unbelievable thing is there were only "TWO" young women who were working! And I mean they were not only taking all the orders but they were making the donuts too! Charlie helped me and I told her to just put together 2 dozen donuts...whatever was fresh and whatever she thought people would like! Both these lovely women were calm and composed and so full of positivity and Love! I told Charlie how much we all appreciated them! She told me there was someone who came in (I'm not sure when) and they yelled at her and called her "stupid"! I told her had I been there and heard that they would have gotten a my feedback...which would have been.....UNACCEPTABLE! No one deserves to be treated with lack of dignity and gratitude when they are doing their very best! So a huge SHOUT OUT TO CHARLIE....AND THANK YOU! Manager was super rude right off the bat when i went in to pick up an online order that just hadn't gone through yet, didn't offer any help and went and sat in the office the rest of the time i was there, luckily another employee came and asked to help and when my order came through he got it done super quick, helped with my boxes because i had two kids with me & gave my daughter a free donut. I do not understand why these donuts are so popular to people. Ive given them a try more than once and each time they're super disappointing. The taste of these donuts are too sweet almost like eating granulated sugar. They also are never soft or fluffy and usually are hard and stale appearing. Theres just nothing special about these that I can see. Also they are very small compared to other places donuts and extremely small filling. Went in to get my free birthday dozen today and met this lovely lady at the front counter who was very cheery and fantastic. The minute I walked through that door she was on it. She was busy helping another customer but noticed me immediately and made sure she let me know she would be right with me. I noticed she gave the gentleman in front of me great customer service as well. When it was my turn she was super perky and ready to go. I dig that! I noticed they had out the Valentines donuts so I ordered a dozen of those for my kids. When she finished with those I showed her my app and asked her if I could also get my birthday dozen, she looked up with a giant smile on her face and said Absolutely happy birthday! This store has gone way down hill. The other general manager that was in there ran it really well and was a very nice to chat with while going there and the crew used to be great and so friendly. I refuse to go back after there new managers and general manger is extremely rude the way I have seen her treat her employees there is so unacceptable. The place is also a disaster and a health hazard I have seen mold on trays before and them not using gloves. I always look forward to going there and even though they're a bit expensive, usually it's worth it because the donuts are melt in your mouth delicious and fresh. Today I went there, and I was very disappointed because half of the dozen donuts I got were stale. I had cream filled one and it was hard and the pumpkin donuts which are on special this season were also not fresh. I went to Krispy Kreme on a hot summer day and I walked in to two young girls trying the donuts and talking I was probably the only customer that would come in that day and it makes me mad that I pointed to the direct donut I wanted and said it out loud and they got me the wrong one one the cream. Each time I went back I would think I would get a fresh batch; However, that day never came and the doughnuts actually got worse. Even after microwaving the doughnuts were still hard. Today I went to this Krispy Kreme at their listed opening time of 5:30 am. Employees were inside working but the door was locked. The Sunday opening time listed on the door was 6 am, not the 5:30 am time listed on their web page. Though employees saw me walking outside their front door for 45 minutes, no one contacted me. At 6:15 with the door still locked, an employee came out and informed me and the two other people waiting outside that they would not be opening until about 8 am. They didn't place a new sign on the door, just decided that their customers would be happy to wait 2 and 1/2 hours for the chance to buy a donut. I will never purchase from them again. read more

I'm so bummed! We were so excited about Krispy Kreme when we remembered it was open we made a late night drive because we read that the drive in was open till 11. Drove 20 minutes to only be turned away at 1020. We tried to call before to double check the hours but no answer. If you say your drive in is open till 11 let it stay open till 11. We will probably try again once the newness wares off and they get some people working who want to sell doughnuts read more
