I went for a maple bar, but the guy next to me convenient me to try the Red Velvet cake donut with icing, however when I got to Checkout the the ham and cheese croissant was calling my name, but I just had to say no! There is always next time. The people are very friendly and it was a quick in and out type of place. Parking is limited, but you can park at the bank and walk over. If you're in the Keystone shopping area, I highly advise to stop in for a quick pick me up or at least just smell the aroma. read more

DO not come here. First of all the person making the donuts, not sure if it's the owner or not I saw him talking on his phone and then directly touching the donuts afterwards. With bare hands. I have been here at least 12x times and I am shocked. It is almost like a blessing in disguise... I have an extremely disabled son, so I pulled to the side of the parking where everyone parks and the first thing that he said to me when I got inside of the building was in a very loud voice as you need to move your car right now!!!! cause you're in the way of everyone!!! Before I can even explain that I have a disabled son. I tried to say that I would move my car forward and he just said no move your car right now !!!! No good morning, just yelled at me. February 21st is National Caregiver Day. In my household, 2 people are caregivers and one person is who we take care of. This year, National Caregiver Day fell on a Friday . I decided to treat myself, the other caregiver, and my mom (the person we take care of), with donuts! I have heard many good things about Sprinkle and finally got a chance to try it! I ordered through GrubHub. I chose a half dozen and let the store pick which donuts we get. I figured they could surprise me, and they did! I got 7 donuts ! And the variety was great (see photo). We each got 2, mom got 3. I had the twist and fruity pebble. I absolutely LOVED this twist! I usually don't get those because they aren't good. But Sprinkle Donuts made me a fan! They make them fluffy! And the fruity pebbles wasn't too sweet! It tasted like a bowl of cereal AND a donut! I was told the other donuts were great, as well! Amazing service! It's the neighborhood donut shop that you want near you! I was immediately impressed that the employees knew the customers ahead of me and behind me by name and their usual orders. I was greeted by the young lady at the counter upon arrival and I expressed a food allergy to her and both employees offered me their options that they were sure had no cross contamination. The one item I did get that had contact with the food allergen was bagged separately for safety. I ordered a jalapeño kolache for myself and was given condiments to go. I so appreciate this visit. It was a hectic weekend for my family and I'm looking forward to visiting this cute shop again in the near future. You'll never get this service at Doughboys. Who doesn't love a good sprinkle donut?! I drive by this donut shop almost everyday, and always with the intention of trying them. Until one day of my co workers brought some donuts in for us to try. We all got hooked on the donuts and we now have them at least every other Friday. When I went into the shop I was instantly greeted my staff or possibly the owner I wasn't sure since I didn't ask. I need to make it a point to get her name since she's so friendly and always has the best recommendations. I usually end up getting an assorted dozen and a dozen donut holes as well. They also have a few specialty donuts to choose from like a maple bacon bar and ham and cheese croissant sandwiches that they can warm up for you. The few times I have gone in I have never felt rushed to get something and the staff takes their time to interact with the customers and have had great customer service every single time. I definitely recommend giving them a try, they have 2 locations. One off keystone and fifth and the other by Mira Lima in the shopping center where the pink Scolaris used to be. read more

I've been wanting to try this place but have always put it off telling myself I shouldn't eat donuts. But I also would avoid it due to it not being located in the best spot off keystone where quite a few homeless tend to hang out. I finally got to try it when my coworker brought a box of donuts to work. They have all the standard variety of donuts which is a lot! I ended up trying a sugar raised donut and not only does it have sugar on it but it also has cinnamon! I haven't found another donut shop that does that and it honestly makes a difference! Tiny place with 3 small tables, and not the greatest location, parking wise. However, donuts were great (kid approved!), very cheap and tasty. The shop is small, clean and very cute. At 10am on Saturday they were mostly sold out but my kids were still able to get sprinkles, chocolate bars and donut holes. I also got a pastry wrapped sausage w cheese, as more of a savory item. We found this place by accident. We normally go to Doughboys, but stopped to pick up a burger at In N Out and saw this place across the street. Based on the Yelp reviews, we decided to try it. They have a great selection of doughnuts, the girl working at the counter was super friendly and gave us suggestions. We got four doughnuts, including a blueberry fritter, a bacon maple bar, a cherry bear claw and a raspberry filled. The total was less than $9! And they were all delicious. The croissant was decent. We liked the crueler. The apple fritter had a nice crunch, but zero apple flavor. The chocolate covered old-fashioned did not have good flavor. The guy behind the counter was courteous and apologized for making me wait since the Dad before me w 2 young kids (jumping around like monkeys) had a big order. We had to get up early and drop somebody off at the airport and decided to drop by and try the place, thinking that they would still be warm. There was quite a selection, but we had heard how great their blueberry fritters were, so we ordered four of them to go. We had to drop two of them off, and go to the airport before going home, so they weren't warm by the time we tried them, but it was worth a shot. At first glance, the fritters were "cooked" to perfection, with the perfect color and obvious bits of blueberry on display. The first bite, proved that there was a crunchy outer layer, and the inside was dense and included what I could call tiny/mini blueberries. There was a taste to the fritter that neither my wife or I could identify, but it was coming from the outside of the fritter. After each bite we had to drink something to lose the taste. We also found that the mini blueberries were crunchy, almost hard, and took away from the experience. I was talking to a friend, whom has tried the fritters and didn't have this issue, about the taste we had, and he said it sounded like something could have gotten "added" between the fryer and the glazing process. He even went as far as to say it could have been the oil from the frying process getting trapped under the glaze. When I think back, the taste of oil best describes what we experienced. Always excited to try new bakeries in town! I'm always looking out for something different than a Dunkin' Donuts. The parking is the same lot as the Wells Fargo bank, and unfortunately the drive through lane is not for this bakery. Very clean inside, nothing special/different, a little cramped, only 4 tables. Good prices, good variety. The sprinkle donuts seem to be the specialty and the name sake of the store. Hey will be opening up a second branch on McCarren very soon. We got the blueberry fritter, which was buttery with a nice crispy shell. Very delicious, especially with coffee!! The Bavarian on the other hand wasn't as impressive. The donut itself was fluffy and not too sweet, but the cream inside was weird! It had an odd flavor, almost like they used too much of the thickener - starch or whatever. So that was disappointing. However, I'd still come back to see if they work out the kinks in a few weeks. read more
