The donuts were dry and not the same as they used to be. But that isn't my big complaint. You'll see my complaint in the photos. I did a pickup order through the app. Screenshot is what I ordered, other picture is what I received. 1. I walked in and said "I'm here for a pickup for (enter name here)" and she said "oh, we just got it, let me get it ready for you. I thought, that's odd given I ordered it on the app, an hour ago before the pickup time and I arrived right at the 3:00 scheduled time. I specifically ordered it earlier to hopefully prevent any of the donuts being sold out. I thought, whatever just pack it up and let's move on. I did a pick up so it would be quick. 2. She packed the box low to the ground where I could not see anything being put in there so I assumed she knew what needing going in there and I just spent time looking around. She also did it really fast, like noticeably rushing which I thought was odd. 3. She sealed it without showing it to me. Later it dawned on me after opening the box that she might have thought I was a delivery driver which is why she didn't let me see what she had done. 4. I was already annoyed that I paid over $20 for donuts and didn't even get the cute box (first world problem, I'm aware). But I was super annoyed when I saw the inside. I understand with things like this it won't always look like the advertised but this is beyond embarrassing for you. Your employees should have boxed it in a timely manner. You had an hour to box 12 donuts. But unfortunately, that was not the case. So what I assume, is that you were out of the other donuts. Okay, that sucks but there was another solution. Next time this happens, inform the customer that you are regrettable out of the donuts and that could choose from any of the remaining donuts to replace it. read more

So happy to have a Krispy Kreme in the Reno/Sparks area again. The store is open, bright, and always clean. Every interaction I've had with staff in store or in the drive-thru has always been pleasant. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I came on opening day back in 2021 and stood in line at 5am. That was the busiest I had seen it. The past few times I've been back, service has always been quick and easy. I'm always down for glazed donuts from Krispy Kreme and these have always been fresh and tasty. My other favorite is when they have their Key Lime Pie - highly recommend if you haven' tried it. read more

Been a customer here since it opened at this location, but no more. Placed an online order three days early for the Grinchmas collection to pick up in the afternoon on Christmas Eve. After driving to the shop and told them I was there for my order, and was told they were out of these. Why take an online order if it will not be filled, and immediately charge my credit card. This is a great store! We took advantage of the free glazed with a dozen donuts, but thank God the store was willing to honor it as it was written, as corporate was not. We ordered the classic assortment, which allows them to choose, but they don't know exactly what we like. I've gone to this location a twice now and have the same complaints both times. The workers wear the same gloves without ever changing them for the whole transactions. They will check someone out with cash, grab their phones, touch their hair, then come assist someone and grab the donuts they order with the same gloves. My most recent visit, I came in and stood there for 5 minutes while someone in the back flipped the cooking donuts without any gloves and holding his phone to his ear. Finally a young employee came to help me, walked out of the break room wearing gloves already that looked filthy and grabbed my donuts with the same gloves. We decided to stop here because we were in the area and this is the first location in Reno/Sparks. We have both been to a Krispy Kreme before but it has been a while. We were going to use the drive through but it was very backed up and we could not figure out where to go to follow the line of cars. The signage is misleading. So we parked and walked in. When we saw the line, we decided to scrap the visit altogether . When pulling out we saw the drive through line had decreased and we were able to pull into line. When we got to the menu board we attempted to place an order but two of the first items we mentioned they were both out of (apple fritter and sour cream cake doughnut). We settled on two original, one chocolate and one maple, making a total of four donuts. We continued in the drive through line to the pick up and pay window. We paid and received a box that contained six donuts. two original, two chocolate and two maple. We appreciated the two bonus donuts. We were not even sure what we had paid for (it was just over $5) but had no desire to get back into a line to clarify. The donuts were good but not warm and not mind blowing. They definitely have a few kinks to work out. We happened to be driving on Pyramid again and decided to try again since the drive through line looked short. Again, they did not have apple fritters. We did not ask about anything but the original and ordered four of those. This time the drive through line was much slower than the first time and there were no bonus donuts, just the four we ordered. We think it would be wise to give them time to work out the kinks.  We appreciate the drive through option but why it takes so long is perplexing. read more

I ran in to stand in line & lucked out half way through when an employee came out asking who wanted glazed only! My hand shot up- 1 dozen hot fresh now, yes please. So the line! We stopped going there. More than one, they get the online order wrong. Three days ago I ordered all maple donuts when they had a promotion to get an extra box of standard glazed for $2 more. When picking up the order they tape down the boxes so tight and tape them together so you can't easily open the box to see what is in there without using a knife. We got home and noticed no maple donuts. They were all mixed types. I fill out the review link they sent and it asked if I want someone to contact me. I reply yes, but all I hear are crickets. No one contacts us and make no attempt to correct the mistake, so they lose our business forever. I'm tired of this place mixing up the order and taping the boxes shut like a vault. Ordered the new Barbie doughnuts. They used DoorDash when I ordered online. One of the donuts were mangled. There was a gnat in the box. The DoorDash requests were never fulfilled. This place shines due to customer service. Came in late on a Friday night. I was hoping to try the Oreo donuts (a special) but they ran out of the supplies for them days before my visit (per the employee who helped us). I asked if they had the "standard" Oreo donut. The employee told us to hang on a minute and checked in the back on supplies. She said if we were willing to wait she would make us the Oreo Kreme donuts. We waited while she made them and delivered us freshly made Oreo options. We created a box of 6 and headed on our way. I was extremely impressed that the employee was kind enough to make us a special batch because, as she said, "If I have the ingredients, why wouldn't I?" I wanted to share my recent experience with my order from this sparks store. I ordered a dozen limited-time donuts, expecting 3 of each of the 4 varieties. When I picked them up, this was confirmed by staff. However, when I got home, I discovered there were only 2 of one variety and 5 of two others, which did not match my order. When I called to address the issue, an employee informed me that not all varieties were being made and transferred me to the manager. Believe it or not, I've never ever had Krispy Kreme and was understandably very excited when I heard that they were opening up in sparks near me. We waited a few days to go after they opened because the line was ridiculous and it was still crazy when we went (we waited an hour and a half in the drive-thru) but let me tell you, it was just as good if not better than I expected. I don't know what I was thinking but I did some reason thought I could access donuts the first day they opened, I was able to place an online order for pick up late evening assuming the line would have died down, after being in a drive through line at 9 pm and if barely moving I tried going in person which was a lot the same except you're standing in the cold outside. I attempted calling that evening and all day the next day to see what my options were since I paid. No luck there. So the next night I thought I would pursue the challenge again of obtaining my donuts. Walk through was more manageable the next evening and since I could actually see the inside saw there was a online pickup station, I explained my story and the worker was very sweet to check with her manager who was kind enough to grab me my items ordered. Super thankful for the attentive staff. I went back again where drive through till about 20 minutes and in pulling up the Krista Creme online order realized there can be more flavors added in so I'm not just buying one donut. I am a big fan of Krispy Kreme all the way. I love their donuts and especially when they are hot and fresh! Unfortunately, this morning experience I had at Krispy Kreme was just horrible. I had arrived around 5:40 AM to get some donuts for our clients that come in at work. The sign and website says they open at 5:30 AM which is perfect since I started at 6. I came up to the door and it was locked. The lights were on and I see the employees walking back and forth, so I knocked. They saw me, ignored me and continued doing what they were doing. So I sat in my car til 6:10 AM when they finally opened the door. Went in and was just served by the worst attitude and customer service ever. It felt like he did not like his job too much, but unfortunately I promised my job I would bring donuts because if not I would have definitely walked out and have gotten donuts somewhere else. I love Krispy Kreme but this experience was just very poor and it should never be like this no matter what.
