I ordered the raspberry refresher which is on the DoorDash menu the girls working had no idea what I was talking about and just gave me a lemonade until I corrected them and asked for the raspberry refresher that was on the menu and I showed them the listing. And then went to check out and they charged me a higher price than the price that is listed on the menu and said "sorry I'm not a manager deal with it." I don't like leaving negative reviews but I feel like I have to for such a terrible experience. Firstly, I walked in and was met with the Gen Z stare, no hello or welcome, so I just said, can I get some cookies? I ordered a few, they were ok. Then I ordered a cookie butter latte that was just a warm cup of milk. No flavor, no coffee, and it was only a little more than halfway filled. I also tried a buttery cake/brownie thing that tasted like maybe it was made with the lemon squares because it tasted more like citrus than a buttery treat, So disappointing. So let's start off with I'm not a desert guy so if you love sweets come here. The crepe was stuffed. More Nutella then a container. A full banana and a huge strawberry The macaroons were not worth the money. Maybe I have been spoiled, I had them in Switzerland, but they all taste the same. I decided to try their namesake offering, the Krispy Mango ice cream rolls and I remain absolutely amazed! In terms of quality, this bakery's baked goods & coffee, Krispy Mango is basically like Martha's Bakery in the city (Queens & Brooklyn) but with a higher price tag. My rating is based soley on "the goods" but the ambiance is nice, upbeat, & yes, a tad girly so this may have chick appeal and would be ok for a nice small date. (My husband was with me so he didn't mind being there but I don't think he would come here alone, he's more of a Dunkin' kinda guy. It's relieving to know this place is open late and not just bars and standard bar grub spots that sell pizza and Tex-Mex. I popped in to Krispy Mango to get a birthday cake for my bestie. I was so impressed by their amazing selection of so many different goodies from ice cream, to macarons, to different sweet drinks. I got a red velvet cake that was really cute. It served about 8 people and was $30. It was pretty tasty but the frosting was just a touch too sweet. I passed this place on way to working in HV & it caught my eye, when I got home I looked it up and I knew I had to go. Stopped in briefly after work, the girls working there were super friendly. I went on my day off and fell in love! In love with the decor, their macarons and had the pleasure to meet Jay aka Krispy. He and his brother are the owners and he was wonderful! I enjoyed a ginger peach iced tea, and an Earl Grey macaron, Trust me when I say I've eaten a lot! of them from NYC to the west coast, these are great!!!! Perfect. YUM. Found this place on a whim. It's the old Dunkin' Donuts on Wall Street. Located in a great spot with entrances in the front and back. They have only been open for a month and when I came in there was a line which gave me time to look at all of their delicious offerings. Macarons galore!!! I never get my hope up when trying macarons, especially the weird flavors, but I decided to go for it ! I got the Early Grey, the Rose flavor, pistachio, lavender and orange citrus - the texture was amazing and the flavor was even better! After a meal downtown, we were walking back to our car and were reminded by our little girl that she was promised ice cream after our meal. We had spied this new gem on our way to get lunch and agreed to try it on our way back. We arrived at a good time and didn't have to wait very long at all for service. There were two people working behind the counter and were quick to explain the process they have for rolling ice cream. You can choose a really good combo that they have come up with or you can create your own. There are countless options and you can mix or match as you see fit. The process is fun to watch and the end result is really quite excellent. The ice cream comes out as a roll as you can see in the pictures from the other reviews posted. Creamy and delicious. Service staff is friendly and attentive and really get a workout on their shifts from mixing all of the ingredients. The eating area has great views of all of the baked goodies you can also take home in the glass cases and is also well lit and clean. Only drawback I can foresee, is the length of the process when it might become real busy- maybe make some and have it fresh and already prepared?... just a thought. Experience 1: 4 cupcakes @ $25+ These cupcakes were dry as could be and completely unenjoyable. The frosting/icing was crumbly and the cake was terrible. Experience 2: 2 pieces of Baklava & 2 pieces of pistachio/almond pastry Clearly, dry is their theme. Coming from a family that makes baklava, what was this??? It was dry af.
