This Kroger location was very convenient for years during my commute. This store carries my Jack's Pizza. My latest find was a box of 6 macarons on the clearance bakery stand. It was on sale for $2.99 instead the regular price of $5.99. I have only seen frozen macarons that are more expensive at Kroger. The product was frozen per the container; thus, the thawed macarons could have lessened my ability to distinguish the flavors. It has lemon, some cashew nuts, and dark chocolate. This Le Petit Francais package was manufactured for France. I like that it has no preservatives. When Kroger gas station was erected, Kroger's parking lot became congested. They /we just need more space. read more

There's only ever 1 or 2 checkout lanes open; everything else is self checkout. If you're thinking "that's faster anyways" nope it's not. The anti theft cameras flag you if you have items in both hands, if you leave your purse in the cart they think you're stealing it; and then you will have to wait on an employee to come over and count your items and make sure you're not a thief. Which that takes forever because half the time the employee monitoring the self checkout is either on their phone not paying attention or they're needing to do this for every single person. I'm annoyed at how grocery stores have gotten away with having less employees by making us the employees at self checkout. Just go to Aldi. read more

I went to Kroger to get some groceries and it was nothing out of the ordinary. Checking out was a an adventure because I had to do the self-checkout and it was a madhouse. The self-checkout kept interrupted my transactions and had to get someone to assist me each time I tried to scan an item. The staff worker apologized and acted like she did not know what she was doing. Finally, I was able to scan all my items, check out, and be on my way. They are definitely not organized at this Kroger when it comes to self-checkout. Only one register was open, and it was slow, so I can understand why that was the case. All the Krogers I have been to lately seem to be disorganized and not operating smoothly, so this location was no exception. If I am passing by this location again, I may stop in to grab some groceries, but it will not be very much. This is not my top Kroger location. Will definitely move on to something else. read more

This Kroger is pretty bad. Every time I come here, they are out of pertinent items. The produce section is always empty, and the cut fruit always looks like it's been sitting for a while. I stopped in today to grab a hot rotisserie for a quick meal, and even they looked halfway cooked. I actually put my cart back and decided to go to another location. I have to stop convincing myself that this location will get me by because it never does. read more

This store razes about fresh produce, but it's not. I bought some strawberries a couple of days ago and a day later it is growing fuzz. I also bought a 5lb bag of potatoes and two days later there's this really bad smell in my cabinets, it was a rotten potato and I had to through the hole bag away. I'm going to go ahead and knock this rating down a notch. Not because of the placement of the gas station (though that is a common complaint) or this being a retrograde Kroger (another common complaint). But there is no crosswalk between the parking lot and walking to the store sidewalk/entrance. No "caution" signage" or anything. Even the Worst Kroger Ever (Nora) has really good crosswalks. Hopefully the "multi-million remodel" will address this issue. read more

My new favorite Kroger. The store is always clean and organized.Everything is always well stocked. I never have a problem locating items including those on sale. Other locations tend to run out of featured sale items. On my last visit I noticed a manager going through the fruits and veggies and removing the items that didn't look their best. She also straightened up some of the displays. Appearance is important. Staff is friendly and efficient. Although this location isn't the closest location to my home, it's worth the extra 10 minute drive. read more

So before today I would have given this Kroger location a 2 or 3 tops --- My experience today changed my view, and because of one team member, I am a believer that things can change. I have plenty of comments that could lend itself to a not-so-great review, but I am going to comment on the positive today. Sarah -- that's why I give this location a 4 star! Sarah, is a 5 STAR! I stopped in tonight to get some flowers for my wife... I found about 4 different bunches that seemed to look fresh and would make, I hoped, a good assortment, after my wife arranged them. I found a Kroger associate in the area and asked if she could put them together for me... She eagerly accepted and quickly went to work! As I watched, I shopped more... and found another bunch to add. This young lady probably took 10 minutes to quietly and behind the scenes take all five bunches and combined them into a beautiful bouquet! She finished it off by placing the bouquet in pink colored paper and tying two different ribbons around the bunch. Honestly, it was magnificent! This young lady, was quiet, worked diligently and gave me a product beyond my expectations! I thanked her, made sure she was the only Sarah in the department so that she could get credit for her outstanding customer service and waited in line to happily brag about her at the customer service desk. Compared to other grocery options, I would pass on this one if possible. Good for basics shopping only. Compared to the investment in other Kroger locations it feels like they are looking to offload this location. Fresh bakery bread is not available. Deli selections (sides) are gross looking, unhealthy, bland and rarely "turned over" for freshness. The quick serve area for fruit is underwhelming. They never seem to have more than two cashiers working so you have to use self checkout which only has room to fill four bags. They only offer 3-4 types of pasta shapes (if it's not spaghetti, penne, bowtie, or elbow forget it.) Parking is tight. The fresh flower section has improved recently. read more

Better than most of the other grocery stores in the area. Has a long way to go to match the Kroger at 116th and Olio. The staff are pretty friendly and they usually have everything I need. The pharmacy seems very understaffed. Nearly every time I'm there, I have to wait a long time to even talk to someone. Don't even bother with the drive thru, it's a huge waste of time. read more

Ditto to the other reviews - no where to park, not enough staff, generally unhelpful. The pharmacy is so understaffed I have given up and transferred my prescriptions across town to where I will pay more because they just don't keep up with demand, are slightly rude (probably from being overworked, to be fair and the one guy is super nice). The grocery pick up is absolutely useless because the stuff isn't ready or it's supposedly out of stock except actually on the shelf when you go by. The u-scan cashier was so unhelpful I walked out and left my cart at u-scan because fixing an incorrect price was outside of their scope. I've lived in Fishers for 30 years. This particular Kroger used to be a nice, cozy grocery store. Several years ago things started to change. In the last few years they put a gas station in, right in the middle of the premium parking area. Now they are undergoing the most horrendous remodeling program imaginable. Their shelf stock is poorly mismanaged. This place is truly monsterous now. It has become a "warehouse" with a warehouse feel. Whoever is in charge of these changes is a complete moron. I live close by and frequent here quite often. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful if I can't find something or need advice on a cut of meat in the butcher area. I have come to this location twice before and had an issue every time with the self scanning aspect. This time was by far the worst. After scanning everything during the trip and packing it up in bags, we scanned the barcode to checkout and it malfunctioned bring up a screen to call an associate. After having multiple associates come over to help a very rude woman named Nicole came over to tell us we had to do exactly what we did, and continued to yell and shake her head while I said that we did that. She then voided the whole transaction and told us to unpack and scan everything again, not offering to help. So we had to do so for over $200 of groceries and spend an extra 30 minutes there. read more

Pros: Great produce section Decent prices Sale ads usually have some great deals Store is usually pretty clean Cons: This is an older Kroger so it seems cramped: narrow aisles, low ceiling, etc. Selection of products is not very diverse Parking lot is horrible Most employees are friendly but the ones that aren't really stand out Very few checkout lanes I find that I only stop here when I need a few things. I absolutely love the Kroger clicklist online shopping that this Kroger offers! You order your groceries online the day before.. anything from produce to toilet paper. You reserve a time slot that allows you an hour of time to get there between and they bring your groceries right out!! You can go in your PAJAMAS!!!! It's fantastic! The one thing that is full of win is their fried chicken. This may be the same recipe at all Krogers, but the coating is now so crispy with a light almost buttery flavor. We think this is way better than KFC or Popeyes, and a lot cheaper in comparison! I still have mixed feelings about the gas station there. (I had been going to the Shell to get the gas points)... Now, it's a little more difficult to navigate the parking lot, and find a spot. Gotta keep the eyes open for sure now just to not fail to yield or bump into someone too! read more

This is the worst Kroger in the Fishers area. I became violently ill with food poisoning (salmonella) from eating sliced roast beef from their deli. I tried contacting them multiple times to file a complaint. I never got a response and ended up filing a complaint with the Indiana state board of health. Finally, someone contacted me from corporate and offered me a $5 gift card for my troubles (which I still have yet to receive)! missed two days from work and nearly wound up in the ER because I was sicker than I had ever been in my life. $5 is pretty much an insult. This is a smaller, but okay, Kroger. Selection is good though stock for some things is limited. Workers are pleasant and helpful. I stop here when I only need a few items, not for big grocery run as the store is older/dated. That said, checkout is usually a breeze due to smaller customer base. Just left this Kroger and revived very poor customer service as family was trying to do the scan as you go service and a lady was very rude to my family and I instead of trying to help us she was horribly rude. Today I have had enough! I am going to write a review every time an issue comes up. Too many times I have had poor customer service, nothing on the shelves, and no place to park. Today, I had only a few items, but because of my over 10 surgeries (yes, that is what I said), I was in a lot of pain, so I went to the cashier. Once she was done, she didn't bag the items, she just stood there and looked at me. I had to ask her to bag the items. She did. And once she did, she left them sitting right in front of her. And once again, stood there and looked at me. Refusing to move. She wouldn't put the items either in my cart or even push them at the end of the counter! She just stood there and stared. "Didn't I have a cart?" she asked. To get the groceries, I had to lean over the check cashing ledger, push the items down to the end of the counter, and then pick them up. Why? I can't reach over like that. It hurts. I can't pick things up. It hurts. I have to put them in the cart, put them in my car, and then take them out of my car, even without help from the cashier. It hurts. Once less time means less hurt. Yes, I understand that she was an older woman. But, guess what - so am I. I will never see the sunnyside of 60 again. I realize that she didn't want to pick up the bags and put them in my cart because it would hurt her. The difference is that I am not paid to bag groceries, she is. I do the job I am paid to do. Now I am trying to do the work I am paid to do, and I hurt. read more

I used to be a regular shopper here, but no more. It is a nightmare to find a parking space and to navigate the parking lot. Everything was fine until they added the gas station. Also they take up spaces reserved for their online clicklist shoppers. ( These are always empty by the way.) The inside is worse. The store is very dirty inside. I know it is an older store, but that does not excuse the mess. I found trash everywhere when I stepped inside to get my cart. There were open bags of popcorn on the display, and no one had bothered to clean up the mess. It is hard to navigate the store with employees filling the online orders. They get in your way and will not move so you can push your cart down the isle. Do not bother complaining to Kroger corporate as they will not respond Obviously they do not care. You can find a better place to spend your grocery dollars. read more

This store has always had a problem keeping the shelves properly stocked. But over the last few months it has gotten so bad that there are large gaps on most of the shelves where items are out of stock. Of course the missing items are the sale items and staples that you need most. So if you are looking for, say, Tropicana orange juice and Barilla pasta that are on sale...Forget It! Furthermore, you should never, ever shop at this store on Mondays. The "produce" and meat are the remaining rejects from the previous week in all shades of brown and gray. This Kroger is not closed although it should be. My husband does the grocery shopping, so thankful for him. Even though I complain about This Kroger all the time, he still shops there. Their produce is weeks old before it hits the shelves. This week, I have thrown out half a head of lettuce. Half of 3 onions and 1 third head of broccoli. Tonight I am making cream of broccoli soup. I start cutting the broccoli and find that it has lots of brown spots and mold on the stems. Again I am swearing at Kroger. I returned broccoli one other time because it had worms.
