Again?! I think I am done with this store, If I have to drive an hour or not! Was in the store yesterday, Sunday around 10:45. They had Shiner Cheer,(beer) on sale so we were going to do our shopping and then at noon check out. I asked the lady working the department if they had any left, (because they never have half the items I am looking for), She turned around and Huffed at me! Actually huffed, she was so put out it was crazy. Then we saw one Astro's etched bottle of wine, with NO PRICE! Not the first time I couldn't find a price at this store. Soooo I asked her what the price was, again huffing and puffing. She pointed to the top shelf with a different bottle that did have a price, I said no, I will looking at this bottle, with a hand gesture,(not the one I wanted to use, but more like a wave), And she actually said, "You can't buy any of this for another hour"! I was so angry, I said, "That doesn't answer my question, but you have a nice day." , and walked off. I did speak to the manager on duty, he just gave me lip service and hoped I would go away. Tisk Tisk, I spend a lot of money on groceries. But not a this store........ Never again! read more

Being the largest Kroger in Texas, this store is a major let down. They got rid of their natural section and have really limited their selection for healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle. On top of that their produce has been really off lately (broccoli and cauliflower are full of mildew, cilantro and spinach are slimy and smell like feet), there are fruit flies buzzing around the citrus I mean this place is a nightmare, I'm taking my business down the road to HEB. read more

Just got money order and I counted money on the counter at it was right infront of camera and told the lady the amount and she said it was 20 dollar less than I just counted. Waited in express lane for 15 minutes during busiest time...Instead of opening lanes, they were closing lanes. Lines were backed up worse than Walmart. Management was nowhere to be found. read more

This particular Kroger should take out the clothes section in the store and go back to the way it originally was by carrying more grocery items. This Kroger is terrible, the produce,the international aisle,and meat and seafood departments are all lacking in quality. The deli and in store Starbucks are the only areas manned by decent employees. Baggers stand around doing nothing while you bag your own groceries.Stockers block aisles and look at you like you're stupid when you need to pass, as well as brag about their drug use with each other at the top of their lungs like they're hanging out at the bar instead of working.Low rent employees and low rent goods and service. read more

Ok... I have been a Kroger shopper for years.... this Kroger is the WORST by far. Every single time I shop there, I come home with something expired or if it is not expired, it is rotten or molded. Then if you bring the item back, they give you the riot act and are all pissed off that you could possibly be asking for fish that doesn't reek when you open it up out of the package, or cheese that isn't green. Totally over it. This week I bought a container of ricotta cheese and it looked like the side was sliced with a box cutter, you couldn't tell until we brought it home that the container was split. Upon opening, the cheese was as hard as a rock... final straw.... I will drive far away to not shop here any more..... read more

This is a nice grocery store. Great location from where I live. I always find everything I need, the store is always clean, and staff are friendly and helpful. I do wish there was a larger variety of organic fruits and vegetables, and sometimes, produce can seem a bit pricey. I love the store loyalty card. This evening, November 5th, 2016 at about 7pm CST, I tried to cash a United States government check and was refused, with no reason or explanation when I asked the Kroger employee. I went to HEB at 99 and 59 and they cashed it right away for me, when I presented my valid Texas Drivers License. Previously, I've tried to renew my valid Texas Automobile registration at this Kroger and was refused, again, with no reason or explanation when I asked the Kroger employee. I went to the Tax Assessors office and they immediately renewed my valid Texas Automobile registration on the spot. When I asked them why Kroger would refuse to renew my registration they didn't know why and advised me to contact an attorney. I'm upset that they've wasted my time stopping there for what should have been reliable, simple and straight forward transactions. Instead, I've had to go elsewhere. You know, I don't generally believe in *prejudice* and racism, but I'm *definitely* going to contact my attorney about this kind of conduct and seemingly regular *discrimination*. I've stopped going to this Kroger for good now, as I'm pretty sure you can imagine. read more

Filled prescription online with "new prescription" option...said will be ready at 715pm...went next day.. said not filled because they needed original paper script first.. why is this not advised on the website? Why is the website even an option if you are not going to fill it? I will not go to Kroger or anywhere else that requires you to use you bank card with a chip as debit with the pin # having to be entered. I want to use it as a credit card and just because it has a chip they make you enter your pin with no choice. No more Kroger, I just left 300 bucks worth of groceries there and am heading to HEB. read more

All I can say is do not pay your utility bills or any of your bills here unless you want to get a delinquency letter in the mail and love an unnecessary fight. So I called Kroger's customer service and was told to call back tomorrow they have to look through their records and am I sure I paid it at there location. Of course I'm sure I have the receipt. Another great experience at Kroger Brazos Town Center! Kroger was packed today..busy, busy! I was looking for an item that they appeared to be out of, so I asked to talk to the manager & asked him if someone could find out if they had any Udi's Gluten Free Bread in the back. He was very receptive he said just the minute & he went himself and he brought several back and restocked the case. Very pleased...I have great experiences like this all the time at this Kroger. I have been a frequent Kroger shopper for years, so I may be biased, but this Kroger location blew me away! It was like visiting an HEB mixed with a Wal-mart super center without all the drawbacks! They had more selection than the other locations, everyone was helpful as usual but what surprised me was they had an entire other store just sitting in the same building that I have come to know and love! I am a cheese fan, if you ask anyone who knows me, I know my cheeses! Well, their selection is phenomenal! They even had cheeses that I had not heard of before and that is hard to do! Sampling was as easy as asking, shopping was as hard as lifting my selection into the cart and, as I stated, checking out was pain free! This is really the only place to grocery shop in town and walk out of and not feel dirty. That being said, it really is the only place to shop for good quality foods. However, I not being a big crowd person....I can honestly say that utilizing the Click List option has been the ONLY way I have grocery shopped for the past few months. Even with meats and produce...you can specify you limitations on what you want them to pick up for you for the click list option. They are really good at picking out both fruits/veggies and meats. This store has reasonably priced goods and is quite big. In comparison to other Krogers that overcharge.

The staff is really helpful, the store itself is a little dirtier than say HEB but it's not as bad as the Walmart. My big issue is the number of expired items on the shelf on multiple trips. I've noticed especially during sales they don't seem to pull expired foods as well, which is worrisome. Last time I got home only to have 8/10 expired yogurts of different flavors. Went back and sure enough many others were expired so never did get to exchange for what I wanted but rather for what was not expired. read more

I like buying meat from the meat counter so I can see both sides of the meat to look for hidden fat and look at marbling. What does it say when the meat department keeps pointing you to the meat that is already packaged. This happened with more than one cut of meat. When is HEB opening? read more

There are a number of factors that people weigh in about when deciding on a community to reside in and one of which is proximity to a quality grocery store. People need to eat right? Well what can I say about the currently largest Kroger in the great state of Texas that is bad... Nothing. Prices are decent but I don't mind an extra few cents when I get a larger variety, signature style shopping, gourmet selections, choice cut meats including USDA Prime every so often, great specials in the butcher shop, option to buy designer toiletries, lavish household furniture (although nothing expensive and designer just modest), and good selections of international groceries. The gas is cheap when you use your Kroger card (which by the way is a must here or any Krogers), and propane refills are under $20. Redbox could be serviced better here as it fails at least twice a week but never mind that when you can get great selections of beers and wines. Prepare to have a designated driver if your sampling over the weekend at this store. People are generous and willing to go the extra mile. The bakery and produce section is fresh and the lunch/dinner bar has food to go when you don't feel like cooking after work. The Japanese section yields some decent cuts of sushi and the olive bar is a nice addition to this store. They also have a pretty good selection of food that caters to those who enjoy vegan/gluten-free and organic products. If you feel like surprising your significant other with jewelry they have a shop inside the krogers as well although I've never stepped in there so not sure about the quality of selections. The pharmacy is pretty fast and drive thru offers convenience. The carts are always junky but that's my luck at any grocery store I've been to. The patron appear to be decent folks as well; meaning you don't see too many rift raft here. Overall a safe shopping experience. Glad to see Rosenberg is progressively raising the bar and that stores like this can serve the needs of the growing and up & coming community. Happy shopping. read more

So, I'm pretty ride or die for H-E-B/central market, however this Kroger is a lot more convenient for me in terms of location. I have visited this location a few times and I remain underwhelmed. Their selection is OK, but I still find myself needing to go to another grocery store to fill in the gaps where Kroger falls short. This particular location is also ALWAYS a madhouse. The parking lot in particular is a tragedy waiting to happen. The checkout lane situation is very much akin to Walmart (meaning they have 1 million checkout lanes, but only ever have two or three open). The self-service checkout lanes are not always the better option either, as they get backed up frequently. I'm not sure how often they check the food on the shelves, but my first visit here I ended up purchasing food that was well past the expiration date & One item was actually open. I had to return these things and even though I was allowed to make exchanges & given a rain check for one item, it would've been nice if those expiration dates had been checked by staff and that expired food had been pulled off of the shelves. Anyway, it's a grocery store and you can get groceries here. It just may not be the best grocery store to get your groceries at. read more

Attention to detail is lacking. Suspect, company is monitoring employee hours. My main issue is with carts in parking lot. I have sustained damage from runaway carts. Teens assigned to collect carts are most often on their cell phones or congregating in groups. Management needs to come out of the nicely air conditioned store and take inventory of the parking area. This is ongoing. They don't seem to care. Business must be good. HEB is right up the road. read more

Best Kroger I have ever been to bar none! Selection is second to none and boars head selection is awesome

1. I purchase 99% of all my gas at this location. The gas pumps are rather in a corner and to get some control of traffic, all the pumps are supposed to be entered from the same directions. This is a major hassle and time waster. 2. I shop here, Watmart Wharton (NOT ROSENBERG!), Whole Foods and Phoenicia in Houston. and between them i get most of all I want. However, yesterday I got a large package of perfect stew meat. No blood was floating around but this morning there was blood all over my refrigerator and most of the items on the lower shelves. I had even left the package in the shopping bag but it still ran all over the place. Come on folks, use sufficient absorbent pads. Who wants to have fresh blood covering the bottom of the frig. 3. Apparently some of the undesirables are drifting over to Kroger (from the WalMart a mile away) so that Kroger now keeps only 1 carton of large Similac on the shelf at one time. The store is higher on most items but its a small price to pay not to have to go into the Rosenberg Walmart. The place is clean, the employees are capable and I would (bloody frig aside) recommend this store and also the new one way out 1093 near Brookshire. read more

you would think with this being the largest Kroger in Texas that they would staff this place with the right folks, this store is just a train wreck. tellers except for a very few are all more interested in chatting with each other than handling their jobs. the store is usually clean, the deli is usually in very good shape but the meat section and selection there is just about horrible but this seems to be the same for any Kroger. fix the Meat section and hire some new (good) people and you should have this locked up, new stores going up all over Rosenberg and people will have more options. read more
