It was awful , the onion soup, the salad drowning in sweet dressing, the egg rolls were cold as well. I ordered the drunk noodles spice level 3 but man was it spicy and also very very greasy and steaming hot . The only thing I loved was the spring rolls with tofu and peanut sauce were really really good. The server I had disappeared , I walked up to pay with the cook and she had no idea what she was doing. The yellow curry spices are perfection and the richness of the thickness and the contents (veg and chicken) of the curry made for such a nourishing experience. We also ordered pad Thai. Which I rarely do but I'm so happy that I did because I know that they do it right. Flavors distinct and on point. The vibe inside of this little gem is of the highest resonance. As they say you can't judge anything by its size. This place is nestled between two other business and if you drive over 25 miles an hour you might miss it. It's small but don't let that fool you. I started with the papaya salad (#5 on the spiciness level). We also ordered drunken noodles and pork Pad Gaprow Kai Dow (#5 on the spiciness. It is a stir fried ground meat with soy sauce, basil, bell pepper, with a fried egg over steamed rice. I needed the thai tea to level the spiciness on my taste buds. The delicious drunken noodles are "thicc" fat noodles with a sweet and spicy sauce. Perhaps tamarind? Each noodle and rice dish comes with a choice of vegetable only, tofu, or meat. Dishes with vegetables only have a cheaper base price. An addition of tofu mocks up the price, which goes even higher should you choose meat with your dish. A gem in Chula Vista! read more

You can choose what spice level you want on a scale of 1-10. I got a 6 and it was perfect. The thai tea was also very delicious and creamy. The serving of food is so big-- you can feed about three people with one plate. It's extremely worth it! The parking lot is super small, and there are other businesses next door so parking is limited. Saw this place has a great rating and decided to give it a try. They're open for delivery and togo only due to the pandemic. I have been drinking since I'm on my vacation so I decided to get a delivery from them. I ordered a Lao style papaya salad and I'm a huge papaya salad fan. Pretty disappointed the salad is very salty and it's soaked in sauce.. the other order was a drunken noodles with mock duck. The mock duck is pretty tasty but noodles are way too sweet. I specially ordered my food as Thai hot and they're more like a mild to medium spicy level for me. And if you see an order from a hotel and a room number on it, you should probably put in some plastic forks or chopsticks. They were no forks no chopsticks no napkins in my order. My fiance's first cheat day was on Sunday and since I felt like having Thai food, we came here based on the ratings and proximity. There are only four of five tables at this restaurant, so the space is pretty tiny. I saw a lot of people pick up their orders, so it kind of reminds me of one of my favorite Thai restaurants in SD. We shared the money bag appetizer, nam tok beef, and drunken noodles with shrimp. Spicy levels were 8 for the nam tok and 7 for the noodles. The money bags came out first and they were stinking cute and delicious! They were deep fried and stuffed with ground chicken and shrimp, accompanied with a sweet chili sauce. The nam tok salad and drunken noodles came out shortly afterwards. The salad had an abundance of beef and was very spicy and flavorful. I enjoyed it very much! The noodles were also very tasty! They definitely add a lot of spices to their dishes and everything I had was really good. We decided that when we come back, we would stick to level 7 next time! read more

Oh man, this place is a such a great find for us. My husband and I LOVE getting our Thai fix from here. We used to go to Convoy for Thai food so it's awesome we found a place more local to us. Truthfully, we haven't explored much of the menu because we keep getting the same damn thing over and over again. Panang curry: 5/5! I have no idea what they do differently here but this dish is freaking delicious. I don't know if all places cook panang curry with peanut butter in it so maybe thats their secret weapon. We either get it with chicken or tofu. Pad Thai: 5/5 I think the flavors really stand out in this dish with their pad Thai sauce. It's an easy favorite. Tom Kha soup: 4/5 I'm really picky with vegetables so I'm just a little biased on this... Tim and I were in the area and were both craving some Thai. Searched on yelp and this place has a pretty good review. We were the only guests and a very sweet lady greeted us with such a big smile and enthusiasm. We were hungry and ordered with our eyes. We had: Cheesy Crab Crispy Fried Calamari Tomkha Soup Cup Pad See Eew with Chicken, Calamari, Shirmp and Chicken Green Curry with Chicken Everything tasted so good! But the highlight has got to be the Pad See Eew and the Cheesy Crab. And the Calamari was so light and very well seasoned. The only issue is parking. I would have let that slide but then, they were out of my of my items and then said I would have to pick something else, no refund. I like to order from here when I stay in during the weekends and am too lazy to cook. After all, they have a very convenient online ordering system through Yelp. As soon as I place my order, I usually receive a confirmation that it has been received. The system gives them 30 minutes to complete the order, but by the time I arrive 15 minutes or so later it's usually ready. My go-to has always been the tried and true *Yellow Curry* and then the *Panang Curry* every so often. Each dish is $8.95 with the option to add protein for $1 more. I always choose tofu since their curry paste with coconut milk is so immensely rich and creamy. Plus, they are not shy adding in extra veggies and protein. Best bang for your buck! My meal comes in a tall plastic container and sometimes lasts for 4 meals! The plastic container is also very sturdy and easily reusable. As a final note, their *Mango Sticky Rice* ($6.95) was a delight when I ordered it last. Not the biggest helping of sticky rice, but plenty of fresh mango slices on either side of your mound of rice. The aunties here are always very pleasant and I am always greeted with a courteous smile. You're pretty much getting a home-cooked meal since they prep everything in the back using a good ole' kitchen stove with beat up pots and pans. Parking isn't the best for their restaurant, but I've never had too much of an issue since I come near closing (9pm). read more

This place is my favorite Thai restaurant in Chula Vista! Parking really does suck here. There's only a handful of parking spaces in the front and it's hit or miss. There's street parking but that isn't guaranteed either. There was even a time where I was craving Krua Thai but had to pass because I couldn't find a parking after circling around 3 times. For appetizers I either order papaya salad or Tom yum soup. The papaya salad is mouth watering good and has so much flavor. I order the Tom yum with vegetables or tofu and it tastes so good. It has the right amount of sourness. You definitely can't go wrong with either of these. For entrees I always get a curry and noodles. I either get the panang or yellow curry and pad Thai or drunken noodles. The curry has sooo much flavor and comes with a lot of sauce. That's definitely a plus for me because if the noodles are a little dry or if I wanna add some curry sauce I can. The pad Thai noodles are delicious if you are in the mood for sweet noodles. Drunken noodles are also good if you are craving something not so sweet. For dessert I always get the sticky rice and mango. The rice is cooked perfectly and has the right amount of sweetness along with the condensed milk that's added to it. The mango adds the perfect touch of fruity sweetness and both of them just complement each other so well. The spices here are accurate! I've been to other places nearby and the other places spice level 2 was like a 10! Never again. You will not have that problem here. The food was very flavorful and the experience was good for the most part, but there were a couple things that made me give them a 4.0 rating. The server was t very helpful in answering questions for people who had not eaten Thai food before and was almost snarky in answering questions. Parking is a bit on the crazy side since they share it with 3 other businesses so I usually try to park on the street to avoid that. The place itself is pretty small, but it's well worth the wait or just order take out. If you live in a certain mile ratio they deliver for a small fee. Food wise, their yellow and green curry are my favorite and I usually get level 6 or 7 on the spice spectrum. Portions are pretty large, specially when it comes to the noodles and fried rice. Each item I've tried is flowing with delicious flavor and seasoned perfectly. They have some of the best Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee. It will wake you right up.
