After inviting me to come back to get the order with all the ingredients and then shaming me when I showed up they just spinkled a few on.

I've been dining out here occasionally for three years. I only had one bad experience before tonight. Then I was served burned food which wasn't edible and they took back and replaced It, No problem. Last night I had take out Pad ThaI just before closing and it was missing my favorite part, the fresh bean sprouts. So I called today and they said to come back and they would give me a new order. When I got there the staff person seemed confrontational. She wanted to know what I'd done with yesterday's order. I'd told her over the phone I had a photo if she wanted to see it but she didn't ask for it. She explain what happened the day before was they had run out of fresh sprouts so they mixed canned bean sprouts in with the noodles. Gross! Cooked canned sprouts are not the same as fresh bean sprouts. I said why did you have me drive all the way here then? She left and came back and said they would make more but I'd have to pay for half. I declined so she came back with a new order with a quarter of the bean sprouts they normally use. In the future just tell the customers you are out of a main ingredient. Let them decide if they still want it! And if you say you will make it right and replace it don't tell them they have to pay half when they arrive and short them on the same ingredient! And by all means don't grill them about what they did with the order after you have them made a second trip! I will find a new Thai restaurant.

Restaurant is clean and tidy. Service was very good and fast. Food is good, but I've had better papaya salads elsewhere.... Should have tried the mango salad. The Tom Yum was delicious and flavorful, I ordered it at 4 stars and it had good spice! The spring rolls were huge and good. I'd definitely go back, but I most likely wouldn't order the papaya salad.

My friend took me for a belated birthday lunch. We originally were going to a Thai restaurant in Des Moines but it was temporarily closed. I saw the high Yelp rating & it definitely did not disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxing with calm music playing in the background & a pond with water cascading lightly. We both ordered the Combo B Cashew Lunch which was delicious & presentation was pleasing. (See photo) Our young server was pleasant and was attentive with our needs. We will definitely return.

Yep, this is the place to go for good Thai food. I'm impressed with the level of authenticity that you can find in their dishes. Their curry has a good balance of spice and shrimp paste: the white rice paired with this dish is a mandatory complement. I enjoyed the nice portioned plate of larb; it is satisfying to grab a scoop of ground marinated pork and using cabbage to cup it all down. their pad thai is carefully crafted, not too spicy and leans more on the savory scale. friendly and attentive staff. i'll be coming back real soon.

    Chicken panang curry. OUTSTANDING!

This place is great! It's a little "hole in the wall" in a strip mall, but how many "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" are in strip malls? Practically guarantees greatness! But seriously.... I've been here three times and the food has always been off the charts. Fresh, well-prepared, and served with love. It's a small, family-run place so maybe bring a little patience, though the waits have definitely NOT been out of line. And the food makes it worth while. I've had the fresh rolls, the chicken satay, the panang curry and the sides that come with it. All were top-notch. One visit, the side of pad thai was a little oilier than it should have been, but that was a small thing. I found spiciness of "Two stars" a good middle ground, but the extra spices are already on the table in case you want to amp it up! Beverages include Thai iced coffee and tea, as well as a modest selection of soft drinks, beer and wine. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's at the back of the strip mall where the QFC is located, so find a parking space as soon as you can, then walk back. You WON'T be disappointed.

What a great place! We had Togo one night while visiting and staying at a local hotel. It was some of the best Thai I've had. We had Pad see Ew (was just fine); Tom Kha (best ever had); and crispy garlic chicken (excellent dish! Very good flavor and nice and crispy.) About the only complaint was that rice was not automatically included with each dish. Cost was just over $50 for the three meals and a side of rice. They were very quick took only about 20-30 minutes. The person who helped me when I can to pick up the food was great, kind, and engaging. If we stay in the area or even are just passing through we will definitely consider this a high priority stop.

Popped in and ordered the beef salad, pad Thai and pad kee mao. The beef salad was fresh, just the right amount of sauce without it being dripping and seasoned just right, not too sweet or too sour or too spicy- 5/5 which made our expectations pretty high for the entrees. Partner found the pad thai to be a little on the sweet side and my pad kee mao was really soggy/wet. Service was fine, restaurant is small but nice inside. Overall, food quality is a toss up.

A sister restaurant to Krungthep Thai that offers dine-in. Is our go-to for Thai without losing the flavor we love and enjoy. The establishment is clean with a warm ambience. Immediately walking through the door, you'll see a beautiful pond with koi fish and a shrine. You'll be instructed to sit wherever you want, and service is quick. As a regular to both Krungthep Thai branches, I cannot emphasize enough that every item is great. Spice level is between 0-5, with the option of additional dry spice. Their fried rice dishes are excellently seasoned. Noodles are adequately saucey without worry of being soggy. Sautéed dishes will be swimming in extra sauce to be poured over your side of rice. And fried dishes with be piping hot with an excellent crisp. We came during lunch service, but you can ask for a lunch portion or dinner portion. Today's order was a lunch combo. Typically it's served on a plate with a side of rice, pad thai, an egg roll, and your choice of protein or entree. We ordered crispy garlic chicken that day, and to our surprise, the portion was almost equivalent to ordering a single dinner order of crispy garlic chicken! This was definitely a steal. Thai tea and Thai iced coffee are deliciously sweet, and you're able to ask for less ice or no ice.

Note that most American Thai restaurants don't even make a Thai omelette...so enough said. Krungthep Thai omelette is amazing - just enough crab and delightfully puffy and flaky. So amazing! As are all of their other dishes! We've had them all and usually get the crispy garlic chicken (you can add more chicken to the order when ordering), the crab omelet (with more crab, yum!), eggplant sautéed, one of the noodle dishes (they are all great!), one of the veggie dishes (all great!), and sometimes a soup (all super delicious!), curry, or salad. Every dish is excellent, and they make a sufficient variety that it is always interesting! If Pad Thai is your thing, Krunthep makes is very, very well! We don't always get the Pad Thai because the other noodle dishes are exceptional, like the Pad Se Ew, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Woon-sen, and Rad-Nah. If you haven't branched out from the popular Pad Thai, Krungthep is the place to explore. They have their own online ordering https://krungthepthai.com/menu that is super easy, and allows for additions and spice/heat level, as is just calling, and the staff are always super friendly. The Burien location now focuses on takeout (and they are always hopping busy, so you know this community knows they are fabulous ... and with so much turn over you know the food is fresh and amazing!). If you prefer sit-down, Krungthep has a nice dining room by the Normandy Park QFC. Go order now! Enjoy!!!!

They have been doing take-outs only since as long as i can remember (as far as 2023). However, their seasoning is very unpredictable. One time I ordered Mild for Pad Kee Mao, and it tasted super hot. One time I ordered hot, it tasted like mild/not spicy. Sometimes they tasted how they should be. Crispy garlic chicken with the sauce savory/sweet which is very appetizing. Some of them were coated well, some barely had any coated so they are just like fried chicken without sauce coating.

I visited on Valentine's Day, and the vibe was lovely--they had vases with red roses on every table, which was a very sweet touch. Tips for your visit: Parking & Wait Times: The Southcenter area gets very crowded on weekends. I highly recommend coming for an early lunch or dinner. If you arrive before 6:00 PM, you can usually be seated right away without the long wait. Service: The staff is incredibly friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and pleasant. What we ordered: Green Curry (with Tofu): We added a side of rice, and it was perfectly creamy. Special Ba Mee (with Chicken): Great texture and flavor. Phad Kee Mao (with Beef): Savory and satisfying. Spice Level: We chose a 3 out of 5, and it definitely has a nice kick! This was during a Saturday evening close to 6pm and I got in to a fine-dining and casual mashup of an interior, where lights hang above the booths. Service here was on point, and food came out within 10 or so minutes of ordering despite the place filling up fast sometime after placing our order. Overall, food quality was just okay. Breaking each one down: - Tom yum: the soup was far more sweet than it was salty or even sour. The balance among all three of these was uneven, and the condiments inside didn't help. - Papaya salad: overall dish didn't taste too fresh and was oddly sour. There wasn't any sort of flavor kick in it and just tasted like regular salad at times. - Thai basil fried rice: the dish oddly didn't come in as hot as the other two. Flavor profile was bland, and rice was dry and a little hard. From previous visits I would recommend their pad see ew, since I don't remember any other dishes I've gotten from here besides that. One of my friends also recommended their duck curry, so I'll give that a try on my next visit here when I can.
