    Mango Sticky Rice Matcha
    Helen H.

I originally wrote a review on Krem under Lazi Cow, but I decided to write another one here. I've been to their pop-up several times as there are always new drinks to try. On my most resent visit, I came on a Friday hoping to avoid long wait times. It was busy though and many people were waiting outside for their order at the tables. I went with the mango sticky rice matcha. It's a flavor I like to try whenever I see it. To me, the mango puree was light in color and flavor. It was a refreshing drink overall though. I liked the little stick of sticky rice on top. If you want to try one of their creative drinks, check their schedule on Instagram. I really hope they bring back the nitro Jasmine matcha for me to try next time!

Ordered their melon matcha and it was very good, although it's on the pricier side but I get that their matcha quality is high and is made one to one order! They take time to slowly make your drinks, which is nice since it's made almost to perfection for you to take a pic for social medias. Will I come back? Yes! Good matcha deserves recognition.

This has become one of my favorite spots easily! They offer such wonderful variety of matcha drinks and coffee drinks alongside with housemade cookies or homemade salt bread by take two bakery time to time! The best way to be updated is to follow their instagram to see what their seasonal menu is and what they have to offer! I feel like you really can't go wrong with any of them. I have throughly enjoyed the honey butter cornflake cream top matcha, peaches cream pudding matcha drinks, banana pudding matcha drink, and the fresh strawberry matcha! I can't wait to try their coffee in their future. Also everything is handcrafted, beautiful, such great attention to detail! People are also kind and welcoming, and attentive if you have any questions! I look forward to my next visit already!

All the drinks we've tried so far are amazing! Staff is nice and very helpful. Come early because they do run out of some drinks. Will definitely be back!

love!!!!! this is a small pop up at lazi cow in roseville. it seems like they focus on matcha but also have coffee drinks. the matcha flavors here are very unique (peach, dragon fruit lychee, orange). i got the nitro jazmine matcha and YUMMMM!! the jasmine is strong but none of the flavors overpower. it was cool that they did the nitro in front me. they were quick in making the drinks and you can even see the main matcha whisker! it's a small walk in shop and you order on the kiosk. my drink was def on the pricey side $11 (with oatmilk) so its definitely more of a treat than a weekly thing.

Spectacular matcha and great service. I absolutely love this place. Also very cute outdoor seating!

How it's supposed to look like

Been here more than a handful of times, I've always gotten the Banana Pudding Coffee because of how good it is. 9 out 10 times we've been there it's filled to the rim with coffee and topped off with pudding. This last time I went on 08/01/26 cup was about or less than half full. For $9? That's insane, I confronted the gentleman about the issue and all he could say was that you're suppose to mix it. What a joke, do better.

How the drinks come out with their own card.

It is a substantial meal consisting of perfectly grilled steak, vegetables, rice, savory sauce and a fried egg. The steak was amazing, very flavorful, tender, high quality meat. The vegetables - tomatoes, peppers, onions and (perhaps an abundance of) French fries were cooked just right. The sauce was very flavorful. The rice was a good foil to that. The egg probably makes it authentic but was not the stand out. I would order this again in a second. I took half of it home. My wife had the pork belly appetizer and plantain side. She raved about it, especially the plantains. The sauce with the plantains was perfect. The sauce with the pork belly was quite spicy and she replaced it with another sauce that they had. She again would re-order this. Service was great - educational and polite. It was efficient, though the restaurant was a lull period so can't comment on busy times. The space was inviting. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have a wine and beer bar, but not a full liquor license. We found this a delight and it will be one of our go to restaurants in mid town Sacramento.

It had more of a risotto consistency, but the seafood was still tasty. The lomo saltado, though, was on point! Great seasoning, tender meat, and the fries were exactly what I wanted. One surprise was finding out this location doesn't have beer on draft. Apparently, the Midtown location does, so we may have to check that one out next time. Overall, a solid Peruvian spot and definitely somewhere I'd come back to try more dishes.

Stopped by Buckhorn for the first time for Father's Day lunch. Great joint for pretty good BBQ!…read more Buckhorn is an order at the counter and get a number type place. The line was long when we came in, but moved quickly. The bigger problem is that there aren't nearly enough tables for how many folks were dining in. We did end up finding a table on their patio- which is always a win for our family. For about $70, we got two kids' meals (one slider and one chicken tenders), a shareables order of the tri-tip tacos (that my wife ate as her entree), and a two-protein platter with the pulled pork and tri-tip. They asked how we wanted our tri-tip cooked, and we answered medium, but all of the tri-tip came out well done. The flavors of everything were good, though, and the portions are substantial. The kids' meals are a great value. The two-protein platter was enough for two meals if you wanted it to be. The tacos were filled generously and were very tasty. I enjoyed the coleslaw- though I read some others find it bland. I did not think that at all. I really enjoyed the selection of sauces available at Buckhorn. They have a pump-your-own-sauce station with several types of BBQ sauce, horseradish sauce, ketchup, and spicy ranch. Yum! My favorite was the mustard-based BBQ sauce. Overall, I would totally return to Buckhorn. I could probably lean 4 stars here, but I think it's a better spot for BBQ than many others in my area and in the Roseville area that I've tried. It's certainly made my Roseville area visit list.

First off, the format is order at counter and either pick up togo or get a number to have the food brought to you. Inside seating was clean but w a cafeteria vibe. They have what could loosely be described as a bar completely unmanned on a Saturday afternoon. Fortunately we weren't interested that today. So very meh. The service at the counter was very pleasant then you go into make your own sodas. My wife had the tri-tip burger and her tri-tip was grisly. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was Sahara dry. Even generous amounts of bbq sauce couldn't save it. Bbq sauce not bad though. Cole slaw for the sando was also pretty good. The highlight of the visit were the OG fries. Huge plate suitable for sharing across 2-4 people...If we ever went back, it would be for cold beers and sharing a plate of fries....
