This is a small cafe with only 3 -4 tables but it was very clean and the chairs were comfy! This time I ordered the sea salt cream matcha latte and my husband got the ice phin latte with matcha foam. There was only one staff working the counter who takes your order and makes your drinks. He was very nice and friendly with a sweet smile. Matcha is hand whisked to order and there was very little wait for our drinks. Now I know that the cream top is what makes the drink. Even though the matcha itself is mediocre, the cream top is so delicious and perfectly sweetened that you can kinda ignore the fact that you don't really taste the matcha. More importantly, the phin latte is the star. It can do without the matcha foam but it might be the best Vietnamese coffee I have ever tried in South Sac! Skip the matcha and get the phin latte! I managed to grab a parking spot on the street directly out front but I could see how parking might be tricky so it might be best to visit this coffee shop by foot. Once inside, the space is very open and modern with tons of beautiful house plants. I was so envious of their house plants that I actually asked the barista about who takes care of them. But house plants aside, I asked for their recommendation for a beverage and a possible treat. The barista suggested the cardamom rose latte, which I got iced with oat milk. To accompany my latte, I ordered a white chocolate raspberry scone - warmed up. The latte was the perfect balance of flavor without being overpowering or too sweet. The white chocolate raspberry scone was buttery and tender. All in all, this was a great coffee shop and if you find yourself downtown in the area, I would highly recommend it.

The matcha jelly has no sweetness and great texture. Matcha latte has strong matcha flavor very good! Service is as fast as they can. The Black Sesame French Toast was fantastic! We also got the Date-Orange Latte and the Salted Honey Lavender Latte, both tasted great! Our three drinks took less than 10 minutes, and I think the French Toast took exactly ten minutes. Not long at all, and it was busy when we were there(11am). My order was to-go, and they were all perfectly packaged! I so appreciate the front girl answering all my silly questions, the efficiency of the team, getting to watch the man in the kitchen do his work, and the clean and inviting presence of the place. My daughter brought in her baby milk and spilt some, only for one of the guys to clean it up quickly. I so appreciate you guys!! There was a challenge, as I also spoke with the front girl about, but parking is competitive. All the parking spots were taken. Some parking spots were reserved for the neighboring businesses, so I found parking on the roadside. Is it possible to expand the parking lot? It's tough to give patronage to this great business with this challenge. I suppose it's a good problem to have when many people want to come here ;)

They partnered with Pastry Cat and unfortunately the common theme was they never had pastries even in 9am window. Not their fault but maybe partnering with a patisserie that offers consistent inventory might be worthwhile? The ambience is less "come and enjoy your drink" and more "we don't have enough seating"and use the space efficiently. I think if they update the layout of the tables and chairs, it would feel more inviting to sit for a bit or meet up with friends. The parking lot. It's terrible, crowded and people don't know how to park. I saw a couple of cars almost back into eachother while waiting and I was grateful I parked on the street and walked. But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized.
