    Teriyaki Beef bento box
    Emeline C.

We got sat very fast, as soon as we walked in. It was a very nice interior that they have updated and looks way better! The seating was close, kind of like a lot of seating as possible. But it was fine. Close and intimate is maybe what they are going for. The food was super yummy and came out fast! We had 2 ladies going back and forth on all the tables and it was very nice. We will for sure be back! You can't beat 1/2 sushi roll prices!!! I would say it is not super wheelchair, walker, stroller approved. But could be managed by moving a couple chairs or tables a little. Fast service for sure! The bento boxes we got are served with salad miso soup a California roll and rice and meat. Very yummy and filling! It was clean and they had bathrooms available as well!

THE UTAH ROLL IS WHERE ITS AT!!! We also really enjoyed the crazy roll, and the Vegas! They have so many servers who are ready and willing to help, while it's a smaller place it's a lovely experience.

Interesting experience. First of all, the vibe of the restaurant was nice. It was clean, very busy, and looked nice overall. The service was a little confusing. I didn't have a specific waiter. We had like 3 different people coming to try to take our order. We placed an order and then another person came up to take our order. Then it happened again. And despite having three waiters, they never cleared extra plates out of the way haha. The food was very affordable, but you got what you paid for. Their wasabi was a weird texture and easily fell apart. Their sushi was very dry. I think they left their rice out too long. And the flavors weren't by any means incredible. Their avocado appetizer was also very very slimy and compared to other sushi places with similar avocado bombs, theirs was probably the worst I've had. Plating was pretty and food came very fast. Overall it was okay, but I will probably not return.

They are so fast here and everything is so yummy! Especially for the price. We usually get a Vegas, executive and a playboy roll and then try something new!

Amazing food at such a great price! We got the edamame, cream cheese wontons, and a few rolls: Vegas, Green Dragon, and Citrus. Everything was delicious and although the Vegas Roll was my favorite, I would order them all again! The service was fast and everyone so kind and the place itself is clean and looks so nice!

This is a great place to come for great sushi and a great deal! The staff were very attentive and fast! I loved how my sushi came out so beautifully presented! This is a great restaurant!! I will be coming back!!

i love this place!! truly a hidden gem, i go here every friday after work for a nice treat. amazing prices and the staff is so nice!!! the sushi is so fresh and tastes incredible. best sushi i've had in utah!

You can definitely get your sushi fix here! Is it the best sushi? No. It's not the best quality but it's not the worst I've had either. It does the job and helps with the craving! The service was quick too. The hot girl roll was bar far the better tasting roll. I would probably come back twice a year or so!

Sushi Garden Bistro has become our Sushi place of choice in the Utah County Area, their prices seem to still be reasonable in comparison to other Sushi places and the food quality is always exceptional. The inside is very small and can maybe seat maybe 25-30 guests and the staff is pretty good most days. We have experienced some issues on weekends where it's overly crowded the wait times are long to be seated or for takeout orders but I think that is just a testimony to how good this place is. My Sushi Roll recommendation would be the Citrus Roll. It's one of a kind.

Great cheap sushi! If i'm ever just craving some good cheap sushi this is my go to spot! It's all half priced (about $7.50 a roll) and tastes great! The service is good as well. We are usually seated and served very quickly. I usually get the green dragon roll which never disappoints. I also love their cheese rangoons. I got the miso soup this time though and was not a fan at all. Other than that very pleased!

    Hair on the sushi roll
    Ayanna D.

First- we ordered seeing that the restaurant had 4 stars & it'd be decent. It wasn't decent. We got our food & the pieces of sushi are abnormally small, these rolls should be half the price of their normal price. To top it off there was hair on the food. Disgusting. Service was okay, it took over 30 minutes for the food... which is alright. Everything just seemed rushed and not good.

Johanna is a great server, I promised her I would leave a review a year or so ago. I forgot and hadn't until now. It's a very pretty restaurant. If there was one complaint it's that the door gets opened, or left open and the cold blows in. Which is more of an Utah people thing, than it being the restaurants fault. I had odd service one time, this was four years ago or so. I haven't seen that server since then. So I guess it's sort of a moot point. For the sake of explaining it. I asked the guy first a to go box. He removed the food that wasn't finished and left the boxes. So I had nothing to pack. Once again, haven't seen him since. Whenever I'm in Lehi this is usually the restaurants fault I go to. I liked the ramen place across the street, but they stopped serving alcohol.

The restaurant is very clean and modern. We got the mixed tempura appetizer. We were very impressed with the portions. However, the vegetable pieces were huge. The carrots were nearly whole, not sliced. It was kind of hard to eat. We got a Vegas roll which was OK. I get the Vegas at most sushi places so I can have a baseline comparison. I also got the Marz roll, and it was SO good! My husband loved it too. We had some issues at checkout where she brought up another table's bill that was twice as much as ours. I checked the details, and she fixed it. Then technical issues prevented our payment using the device. So we had some delays. All in all, a decent experience. If we were in the area again and needed sushi, I think we'd come back. But as we're rarely in American Fork, we likely won't return anytime soon.

I suppose it was just a little awkward to walk into an empty restaurant at 11:45 a.m. on a Thursday (there were of course a few employees there). Overall vibe was alright, but nothing exciting. The poke nachos were delicious, but the portion could have been a little larger. Also wish there was a tuna option for the nachos. Menu felt quite small. Fresh tuna nigiri and unagi nigiri were both great. We did have a mix-up where we checked off the items we wanted on the menu and gave it to our server, and actually did not receive what we ordered. We honestly didn't notice immediately until we got the bill, but our confusion of getting Unagi instead of Madai made a lot more sense once we figured it out. I was super sad that we didn't end up getting the Madai, mostly because we were running out of time and had to go somewhere, otherwise I would have told the server about the issue. Under wraps is overall worth the visit, with the food being dialed in with presentation and well thought out flavors. The overall experience and value was lacking though.

It was my first time there, and the staff was super helpful walking me through the menu, which I appreciated. The vibe inside is cool and laid back, and the food leans more traditional style, which I liked. I ordered the salmon hand roll, salmon nigiri, poke nachos, and hamachi sashimi. Everything was fresh and well put together. I live in Midvale, so it would be a bit of a drive for me, but honestly it's good enough that I'd make the trip to Utah county to eat here again.

Drink order was taken, ginger and wasabi bowl given (without having to ask), it just felt more welcoming this time. "Service with a smile." 2. Food portion. BIG difference from the last time.
