I genuinely need everyone to understand that this was not just "good sushi." This was life altering. Spiritual. Borderline emotional. I have eaten sushi in so many places and somehow NOTHING compares to this place. Every single roll tasted like it was handcrafted by angels with culinary degrees. The fish? So fresh I swear it practically introduced itself to me. The rice? Perfect. The sauces? Illegal levels of delicious. I'm not exaggerating when I say I was sitting there in complete silence after the first bite because my brain genuinely needed a moment to process what was happening. I would trust this restaurant with my taxes, my future children, and honestly my emotional wellbeing at this point. The service was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect, and every single thing we ordered made me more angry that I've lived this long without eating here sooner. We got sat very fast, as soon as we walked in. It was a very nice interior that they have updated and looks way better! The seating was close, kind of like a lot of seating as possible. But it was fine. Close and intimate is maybe what they are going for. The food was super yummy and came out fast! We had 2 ladies going back and forth on all the tables and it was very nice. We will for sure be back! You can't beat 1/2 sushi roll prices!!! I would say it is not super wheelchair, walker, stroller approved. But could be managed by moving a couple chairs or tables a little. Interesting experience. First of all, the vibe of the restaurant was nice. It was clean, very busy, and looked nice overall. The service was a little confusing. I didn't have a specific waiter. We had like 3 different people coming to try to take our order. We placed an order and then another person came up to take our order. Then it happened again. And despite having three waiters, they never cleared extra plates out of the way haha. The food was very affordable, but you got what you paid for. Their wasabi was a weird texture and easily fell apart. Their sushi was very dry. I think they left their rice out too long. And the flavors weren't by any means incredible. Their avocado appetizer was also very very slimy and compared to other sushi places with similar avocado bombs, theirs was probably the worst I've had. Plating was pretty and food came very fast. The outside of the building looks old and run down, however, inside was remodeled and looked nice & clean. It took a bit too long for them to come take our order. The waitress kept asking me to repeat myself, maybe because the music was too loud in the restaurant or a possible language barrier. The server gave us miso soup, with no spoon to eat it with. She did bring the spoon several minutes later. There were no other utensil options given to us at the table besides chop sticks. The server never returned to our table during our meal to ask us how things tasted or if we needed anything. They only asked us if we needed anything else when we done with our food. The sushi we ordered and vegetable tempura tasted good. The service was not the best. We didn't feel like we were valued customers. They definitely could benefit from some customer service training! If they were more hospitable I'd give this restaurant a higher rating. If you choose to eat here, during the lunch hour, service won't be great. I probably won't return to eat here again. read more

We gave them our card and then she asked if I needed a box since we were closing, I said, no thank you. She never apologized. We were rushed out. The worst service I've experienced. If they want to close early. Maybe just have DoorDash and don't have people in dine-in. Never coming here again. Amazing food at such a great price! We got the edamame, cream cheese wontons, and a few rolls: Vegas, Green Dragon, and Citrus. Sushi Garden Bistro has become our Sushi place of choice in the Utah County Area, their prices seem to still be reasonable in comparison to other Sushi places and the food quality is always exceptional. The inside is very small and can maybe seat maybe 25-30 guests and the staff is pretty good most days. We have experienced some issues on weekends where it's overly crowded the wait times are long to be seated or for takeout orders but I think that is just a testimony to how good this place is. My Sushi Roll recommendation would be the Citrus Roll. It's one of a kind. read more

Their menu advertised all sushi rolls 50% off with original prices of $15, but in reality, the size and the quality of the rolls they serve are only worth about $6 each. The full rolls (10 pieces) are miniature rolls with a sliver of each ingredient listed on the menu, and the rolls that are the size of higher end restaurants only come with five pieces. The freshness of the fish is good, and the slivers of the eel on the roll were questionable. Service wise, they took my order, brought me my order, a glass of water, and that was it, just like a fast food restaurant. It was like they went out their way not giving services, never once checked on how I was doing, and never once refilled my water even when a server brought me my check seeing my glass is empty. Of course giving a review without being able to "dine in" because of the whole quarantine COVID-19, I feel like I cannot give it a well rounded review, so I'm only giving the review based on the sushi quality and presentation alone. You get a lot of bang for your buck here, and if you're in the mood for sushi but you don't want to spend tons of money for it, this is your spot. I got the caterpillar roll, mama Mia roll, and black dragon roll. All three have pretty much these things in common: eel, cooked (nothing raw), and avocado. When I did phone my order in, I specified that I wanted extra wasabi and ginger, and they packed just that, which was wonderful. It tells me they pay attention to details in your order.
