Sesame chicken, green onion & the regular chicken

Me and my friends were looking for a place to eat when we visited Daly City. While looking through so many restaurants on Yelp, this restaurant was the one that caught my eye. We searched for it and it took us a while to find out that it was located in the market. They also sell sushi, bento box and much more! Each one of us ordered different flavored chickens and were satisfied to the max! Their little appetizers that they give in the beginning is also delicious! We would have ordered more of the appetizers but we were on a budget. As for the service, it was very fast and the servers were very nice. There was absolute no problem with customer service. We will definitely be coming back for more chicken!

Love me some KFC, Korean Fried Chicken! Located inside the Kukje supermarket now I don't have to go all the way to K-town Sunnyvale to get my fix. Shout to Cherylynn N for putting this on the map. Ordered their half and half chicken (honey and spicy),12 wings for $10 . Only Chicken is also only takeout! So after the 15-20 fried to order wait, they wrap your wings in plastic. So instead of having crispy and light wings, they ended up soggy from all the steam. Still good, they came with pickled daikon. The honey was more sticky than sweet and the spicy wasn't that spicy. Tasted like they used a wet batter before frying? Don't worry San Tung, you still got the best wings in the city. I mean, maybe Korean fried chicken tastes better with a bottle of Hite while doing karaoke? (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/vQPe9CHILZ8OBZkQGNjJnw?select=DiKO23gCB0S5j_lp_5ww1w) *They have premade, under the heat lamp, original flavor thighs, breasts, and drumsticks (3 pcs for $4) but the fried to order wings are the way to go. I still can't believe that this place existed for a million years and I only recently found out about it earlier this year!! WTH is wrong with me? And I LOVE chicken wings! Like LOOOOVEEE!!! *smacks self* I've since tried all the different varieties of fried wings they have but for me, the honey wings are my absolute favorite and I could eat them all the time. And I always ask for extra honey cuz I'm sweet like that ;0)

OMG the Soy Sauce wings! These are very badly named :D, but if you like sweet and rich sauces (like, what most places call Sesame Chicken), these are *fantastic*. The Hot & Sweet wings are almost as good. Note that this place is *inside* the Kukje Market. And that it smells terrible. And that you can only buy a minimum of 12 wings of any given flavour. But they are *SO GOOD*.

Hot & Sweet wings....some of the best wings ever!

The chicken is now over $15 for 12 pieces. The value isn't as good so downgrading to just A-Ok.

Inside is clean, minimal, a pretty small space inside so if you have a large party, be prepared to wait or be split up. Their katsu is thin, flavorful, crisp without heavy breading, and very generous portions. I always get the King Katsu with spicy sauce. The sauce might be the best katsu sauce I've ever tried, we always bring home the leftovers and try to stretch it with more katsu. Every plate comes with rice, mac salad, cabbage salad. They also give you a pickle plate with radish kimchi, yellow radish, and soy sauce pickles. This time, we also tried the sweet potato katsu, which comes with a sweet potato mousse - very good! Slightly sweet, not too heavy, and adds another layer to the already-delicious katsu. Will definitely be getting it again. Not a fan of the hamburger steak here, their specialty is the katsu. On this recent visit, I was very disappointed by the radish kimchi. Their radish kimchi is usually very, very good and I'm not sure what happened. I'm hoping it was due to a bad batch of radish and not a recipe change.

We were lucky to get a seating right away when we arrived as after that more customer arrived after us.l and have to wait. They have different type of katsu, udon, soba snd fried chicken. They also have coiple options of side dishes. We ordered King katsu with additional curry sauce and tteokbokki. They serve ban chan and soup. I am impressed with the size of katsu. It is huge compare yo katsu at other places. The other place that I had the huge katsu before was in LA. The Katsu come with macaroni cheese, cold slaw and rice. The original sauce and curry sauce are yummy. The katsu is crunchy and tender. The tteokbokki is good but I can say similar to other korean restaurant. Overall it was yummy lunch. I am glad I stopped by and have chance to try.

I'll risk it. Plus, SerraManila is continuing their glow up with the upcoming opening of Haidilao, Fogo de Chão, Bloomingdale's, and more. Still no Potato Corner tho. Anywho. * Seafood Boil For One ($15.98) - Choose two: Crawfish, shrimp, mussels, clams, or sausage - Includes rice, potato, and corn - Spice level: Mild, medium, or hot My pick: Shrimp & Sausage, HOT The highlights were the soft red potato, sweet corn kernels, and perfectly cooked white rice. The main event was ehhhh - the 5 pc head-on shrimp was overcooked and dry, while the sausage turned out to be sliced hot dogs. À la carte, the shrimp is $19.98/lb; IMO, overpriced for the size and quality. I think they may use their Nashville chicken spice mix for the Cajun sauce. It's savory, very oily, and mild for "hot". I wish they added fresh garlic to boost the overall flavor. Since you have to drive to Man Jose for good Cajun seafood boils, Burnin' Mouth is worth a try if you're in the area. Just keep your expectations low and you're good. Ordering is super easy since everything is done through a kiosk, and my order was ready in about 10 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. I ordered the original Korean fresh corn dog with a few sauces, and it was really good. I didn't realize the sauces would be added directly onto the corn dog rather than served on the side, so the flavor combo I picked didn't quite work together the way I expected. That said, it was still tasty overall and not a deal-breaker. I also got the sweet chili K-popcorn chicken, which was juicy, flavorful, and probably my favorite item. Overall, it's a solid spot to grab a quick snack. My only wish is that there was an option at the kiosk to request sauces on the side, which would make customizing orders a lot easier.
