Chicken is lip smackin good. Perfectly fried to crispy perfection, juicy, tender, and flavorful. The wings were hot and fresh. The crust is just the right amount of flaky and airy bits of crisp. The plain is very tasty, it does not need sauce.

Crispy, flavorful Korean fried chicken that definitely hits the spot--especially the cheesling and garlic flavors. The texture is consistently crunchy and juicy, and the sauces are solid across the board. Perfect stop while charging at the Tesla Supercharger in the parking lot.

Original - can't really go wrong with these. They are juicy and the crust is crunchy Soy garlic - enjoyed the garlicy flavor and these sticky wings maintained its crunch Galbi boneless- a little too saucy for like liking. Smoky flavor A little expensive, but still good food overall. Staff is nice as well

Was craving some Korean fried chicken and this chain is one of the best in my opinion for sizable, affordable, and tasty Korean fried chicken. This location had about five booths or so, which is ample seating for the location. Ordering was simple and the chicken is made fresh so expect to wait. They have a water station next to the cashier, which was a nice touch. We ordered two smalls for our small family of three, which was more than enough food. I wish they had more options when it comes to greens so the meal is a little bit more balanced. Soy garlic chicken: great go too if you have little ones that don't eat a lot of spice. This does have a very small kick to it so it's not completely not spicy for those who cannot handle spice at all. Secret sauce chicken: I like this much more than I thought I would. It was sweet and just the right amount of spicy for those who like spice but still want to taste their food.

Tried this many times but first time to order here in San Bruno and wanted my friend at work to try. Got Rose Teokbokki and Soy garlic chicken to share- they love it as I do. The teokbokki is perfect creamy and cheesy and rice cake is addicting First time having the soy garlic and it was good still crispy( I'm not a fan of sauced chicken but this time i like it..

I have been hunting for a good wing place and i finally found it. Juicy, light breading, the spice wasn't overpowering, and it was tasty! I will say the wings were on the smaller side but i still love it. I definitely want to get a different flavor next time! If you're super hungry and you are a party of two, the 8pc ain't enough! The service was good and there was seating inside!

Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 My family and I were greeted warmly right away by the cashier. This was our first time at this l location so we were not familiar with the menu. The cashier kindly guided us through the menu and gave us some recommendations. We decided on the Gangnam Style boneless chicken, Wings of Fire, onion rings and the fried dumplings. The Gangnam style was delicious and the jalapeños added the perfect amount of heat. The Wings of Fire were incredibly spicy, almost inedible but kept you coming back for more, they were so good! The sides were perfect filler for the meal as well. Everything fresh and service was quick. Will be coming back soon. Thanks staff.

We first had bb.q Chicken when we were in Hawaii. We liked it a lot, so we were excited to learn there was one in San Bruno. Ordered some for pickup on a Friday and it took about 25 minutes for our wings to be ready. Ordered both the Honey Garlic and Cheesling wings. These are best eaten when fresh and hot. Like both flavors, although the cheesling flavor was the favorite within our family. Note - Caution if there is a nut allergy as the chicken batter includes nuts.

My kids found this place as we were in San Bruno tonight and it did not disappoint The restaurant is clean and it's in a really nice plaza with some other cool businesses. The layout is very modern and organized. The wall art and decor was nice as well. We ordered soy sauce, chicken, and galbi chicken and the rose teoboki The chicken was fantastic. Both were full of flavor cooked to perfection and the portions were massive. We ordered the size small and came home with leftovers. The galbi flavor was sweet, tangy and savory The teobiki (make sure you add cheese) was Rich and creamy and spicy. The cheese was bountiful, and all the flavors blended well. Everything we had was great. The price was reasonable and portions were very large. Definitely a place I will come back to again.

Bbq chicken may be known for its chicken, but I really like the rose tteokbokki! It's not too spicy with the cheese added and the flavor is really good! They definitely give you a generous amount of cheese as well. I just wish it had more fishcakes in it. The Honey Garlic Wings were good as well! The flavor was not too sweet nor savory. These non-spicy wings balance out with the spicy rose tteokbokki.

We tried bb.q chicken last year in Korea and were excited to try this bb.q in San Bruno. We ordered 4 items for 3 of since we figured granddaughter can bring the leftovers home for lunch. The restaurant is pretty small for dine in. It felt a little unwelcoming when you walked in since the greeter is in the middle of the restaurant and so you walk in the door and don't know what to do since you only see empty tables and no one greets you because they don't even see or know you walked in? After ordering at the counter, you get your own water, plate and utensils. Basically paying gratuity to serve yourself. We were served the kim chee fried and ttokbokki after 20 minutes of order but the two orders of wings came another 20 or 25 minutes afterwards! Would have been nice to eat the wings with the sides? They were very busy with online or to go orders. Never really had service as we sat in dine-in. Overall the food was good. Chicken wings were perfectly crispy with a nice balance of sweet and savory and served hot (just not with your sides). The two sides were also very tasty. Service was lacking and felt priority was the to go orders. We were never told your wings will be coming and the young staff was too busy speaking to each other in Spanish to give us any update, apology or any information. Although the one packing the orders to go seemed very busy! Service lacking, food good, prices are on the high side! Not quite sure if we would be back?

I was SO excited to see a bb.q in the Bay Area.. I've had it in LA and even in Korea and it was always amazing. Sadly, this San Bruno location was... a chicken-flavored disappointment. My girlfriend and I came here after work, starving. Right off the bat, the guy at the counter was already acting weird. We ordered and asked for two bottled waters and he kept insisting there was "house water" on the side. Like... okay? Do we look like we don't drink bottled water? Weird flex, but whatever. Then the ketchup saga began. We got fries with our chicken, but only got 5 tiny ketchup packets. We finished those immediately, asked for more and he reluctantly handed me just 4 more. Finished those too (hello, the fries weren't small) and my girlfriend went up to ask this time. His answer? "We don't have any more." Sir. I literally saw you grab them from the bowl 30 seconds ago. Don't play ketchup games with me. At this point we were already annoyed but when the chicken finally came out, we decided to just pack it up and eat at home. Here's where things got even dumber: we ordered two small flavored wings -- 8 big pieces each -- and he gave us two tiny boxes and the smallest plastic bag I've ever seen. Like, where are these supposed to fit? Barbie's picnic basket? I had to show him they didn't fit and he finally gave me one big box... which STILL didn't fit both. I asked for another and he acted like I was asking for the moon. Honestly, the chicken was still tasty (bless you, bb.q recipe), but the service was comically bad. I'd rather eat at literally any other Korean fried chicken place than come back here. Do better, San Bruno. You're embarrassing the brand.

Grill and Tofu House is an excellent, family run establishment that serves up delicious food. The space is very nice and the service is very friendly. I ordered a Dolsot bibimbop because I love food that comes to your table and it's still cooking! I also love that your entree is served with several Banchan (appetizer) dishes. One thing I love about any dining experience is getting a lot of different flavors and textures in one meal. The banchan here had seven different dishes! Of course you get your kimchee, bean sprouts, fish cakes and then some other pickled fruits and veggies. They also gave me what seemed like a roasted sardine? In any case, it was delicious! The Dolsot Bibimbap was a hit! Crispy rice, vegetables, beef and a fried egg on top. Plus, some gochujang sauce to go on it! So yummy! I feel like the prices here are pretty standard for the area, but I do think it's 100% worth the money. Check them out if you're in the area!

Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the soup and bulgogi because it came in after we have started eating. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious. We were seated right away, and the restaurant itself is clean, nice, and spacious. I can imagine it getting packed during peak hours--and honestly, it should. I'm going straight to the point: Han Sang has the best Galbi Jjim I've ever had. I've been to other places (which shall remain unnamed) that proudly claim they have the best Galbi Jjim, but I'm happy to say I've finally found the one. At the same time, I'm a little sad because I live in SoCal, which means I can't just come here whenever the craving hits. This dish checked every box imaginable. The beef was incredibly flavorful, fall-apart tender, and they gave a generous amount of meat. And when I say meat, I mean actual meat--not a pile of bones disguised as a serving. (Yes, that's coming from past restaurant trauma.) You definitely get your money's worth here. The rice cakes were cooked perfectly and soaked up all that rich, savory sauce. Then came the surprise waiting at the bottom: glass noodles. Not the usual thin ones either--these were thicker, chewier, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor. The entire dish was so satisfying it genuinely made me happy. We also ordered the Chadol and Yangji Suyuk, a beef brisket soup that was exactly what we needed on a cold evening. The brisket was tender, and as expected, the broth arrived lightly seasoned so you can adjust it to your liking. After adding a little salt, pepper, and some ssamjang, it became the perfect comforting bowl of soup. Warm, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try their Bossam because the portions were huge and we could barely finish what we ordered. That's not a complaint--if anything, it's the perfect excuse to come back. Leek Pancake - This was made so well, it was thin yet crispy and held together well. The leeks gave a subtle flavor and were a little tough to bite through but it tasted so good, especially dipped in the side sauce. Yangji Chadol Sul Long Tang - At first glance, this setup is so nice with the assortment of sides at the top to the different items you can add into the soup. I loved the fish cake side as well as the kimchi which they do give refills of. It was nice being able to add seasoning in the soup to match my taste and so perfect combined all together with the radish side sauce. The meat is pretty generous and soft as well with the thin chewy noodles. Such a healing comforting dish. In addition to the food, the workers were so kind and attentive, always helping us to refill our side dishes when needed. Probably one of the best sul long tangs I have had and I keep coming back time and again for it.

Customary at most Vietnamese restaurants, you get your food with minimal check ins and not even a plate clearing until the bill comes. This was NOT the case here. There service was definitely in the A/A+ range! I ordered on my phone via QR code, but there was an option to order in person from a server. I ordered many items to try out. I ordered spring rolls, crispy salt and pepper wings, grilled pork banh mi, beef dac beit pho, and a Thai iced tea. Thai Iced Tea was pretty good. Grade: A I thought the Spring Rolls were decent, but what made them even better was the peanut sauce! I always hate when the peanut sauce is watery and this was far from that! An excellent gooey peanut sauce and maybe one of the best I've had fpr consistency. Grade: A- Crispy salt and pepper wings definitely had an incredible crunch. They were up there in crunchiness. The drumettes were meaty which I appreciated. They were well seasoned also. I think I need to try their other wings before crowning these, but some of the cruncheist wings I've had for sure. Grade: A- Beef Dac Biet Pho had some real high quality meat in it. I had options in noodle and my go-to for any pho spot is the egg noodles. I wish it had more bo vien in it, but I appreciated the combo of meats. The broth seemed authentic, but I wanted a tad more flavor out of it without adding sauces. Overall, the pho grade was a B+ bordering an A-. The star of the show was the grilled pork banh mi. The meat was tender and saucy. In fairness I asked for extra pickles and mayo, but I was very impressed. The bread had the crispy crunch we all look for but minus the stale bread. The breads soft yet crispness made it seem as if it just came out of the oven! I'm going to dub this as the best I've had in the Bay Area! There I said it! Grade: A+ Everyone who ordered the sampler seemed very pleased at other tables, I would definitely try that. Also, want to try the other banh mis and noodle options for the pho. There was a nice vibe at this place. I didn't feel rushed although they do close fairly early at 8pm. The server's mom is the one cooking in the kitchen and I appreciated the family feeling at this place. They do have a newer location in San Francisco that has a DJ Friday nights that I may check out. I believe the server said that they are open til 2am on most nights, but I may have misheard her. Feel free to Yelp that location. My only disappointment was that I really love papaya salad and it was not an option. I may make this my go-to spot from now on, but as a Yelper, we all know we will keep trying new places. This will be the one I continue to frequent. Well done Pho de Nguyen!

We can't really complain, but it also wasn't memorable enough for us to come back. The broth was decent, but if you're a pho lover, you know the broth is what makes or breaks the experience and this one just didn't stand out. After lunch we went grocery shopping, and that's when things took a turn. My husband suddenly started sweating, and my stomach began making all kinds of unhappy noises. We hadn't eaten anything else that day, so we suspect something from the meal didn't sit well with either of us. That said, we can't say for certain that the restaurant was the cause. The restaurant itself looked clean, and the service was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, between the average broth and how we both felt afterward, it's just not a place we'll be returning to.

The service at both is always quick and efficient. This location is larger and I like that their menu is broader. They serve several dishes the other location doesn't. This time around, we ordered some regular items and tried a couple of new dishes. The galbi, spicy pork, fried chicken wings and veggie pancake are always delectable. I love the crispiness of their pancakes. We also tried the fluffy steamed egg and bulgogi ddukbokk (bulgogi and rice cake in a sauce). They are both dishes I would order again. I also love Mom's banchan. The SSF now has half orders of some dishes. This was perfect since we only wanted a little of the spicy pork and half an order of the chicken wings. Overall, a fantastic meal and my mouth is watering thinking about what we ate there!

Overall: 3.6/5 Got bulgogi stone pot bibimbap. Heavy on the veggies and good portion size. However, there wasn't much flavor on the bulgogi and the stone pot added no crispiness to the rice or veggies that were touching it. Felt like it was missing something texturally. Overall it was fine, but for the price I wouldn't get it again. The other item ordered was the spicy pork with tofu soup combo. Tofu soup was fine, but again lacked depth or a different flavor note. Spicy pork was good, flavored and marinated well, and cooked great. Banchan given was good. Service was good and food was out prompt.

I asked the owner if it was the same ownership as the South San Francisco restaurant, and he told me that location belongs to his brother. One thing I noticed right away was that everything came out at once. Most Korean restaurants serve tea and banchan (side dishes) first, followed by the main dishes later. Personally, I loved that everything arrived together because it made for a beautiful presentation and allowed me to take great photos of the entire meal. The meal came with eight side dishes: fresh greens, soybean sprouts, potatoes, fried tofu, fish cake, kimchi radish, kimchi cabbage, and seaweed. The variety was impressive, and each dish was well prepared. For our main dishes, we ordered the Galbi (L), Bulgogi (L), Seafood & Green Onion Pancake, and Cold Noodles. The galbi and bulgogi were both perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. They were well balanced, not too salty and not too sweet. The seafood pancake was a standout. It was wonderfully crispy with plenty of seafood. My only suggestion would be for the dipping sauce. It tasted a little too light for my preference. A sauce with more spice and a touch of sweetness and savoriness would make it even better. The cold noodles were decent, but the broth portion was a bit small, and the flavor was somewhat bland compared to the other dishes. As for the side dishes, the fried tofu was my favorite. The potatoes were delicious with a tasty sauce, and the greens were fresh and crisp. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the presentation was great. :)

This place came highly recommended by a coworker who grew up in Beijing. We were talking about…read morePeking Duck and she said the best Peking Duck in the Bay Area is at Boijing Beijing. Coincidentally, some of my friends were also thinking of coming here so we made it happen on Sunday evening. We pre-ordered the big duck and shared the rainbow salad, bok choy with morel mushrooms, sweet and sour shrimp and sweet and sour whole fish. The Peking Duck was indeed the best I've had in the Bay Area (it's crispy, rich but somehow not greasy). You get the traditional crepes (as opposed to the Bao in most places) and accompaniments. They also made a great broth with the duck bones that served as an excellent consommé. The rest of the dishes were also good - I would order that shrimp and rainbow salad again for sure. Service was OK and the restaurant looks recently remodeled. There were five of us and we spent about $55 each - an incredible value for the meal. Highly recommended!!!

We went to try this restaurant because the Peking duck looks good in the pictures…read more The restaurant is very nicely decorated, giving us a good impression. We were promptly seated and we were supposed to be ordering on the tablet. Since it was our first time, we chose to ask the waiter. We found out that Beijing style is either spicy or sweet!! Yes, the Peking duck was served very ornately, some slices arranged as a blooming flower, most of the meat and the crispy skin served in a duck shaped tureen with candles in the base to keep the meat warm, steaming pancakes in a basket. Now the difference is on the plate that came with sliced cucumbers and slivered onions there is a substantial amount of ...SUGAR! Yup, apparently Beijing people sprinkle sugar on top of their duck! And nope, we skipped this ingredient. We also had green beans ( asked for non spicy ), peppered angus beef cubes and garlic ( different kind of heat, we can do this !) fried tofu plain, and combination fried rice, and crispy fried shrimp. This was a surprise, the shrimp was in the shell and nicely fried, crunchy.... BUT they were totally SWEET!! Sugar sweet, dessert sweet! Nowhere was it mentioned they would be this sweet! There were some interesting dishes we saw on neighboring tables, like the spicy chicken, but since we don't eat that spicy, we didn't order that. They offered hot pot too, but the whole party had to order the hot pot, not just one or two persons. The tables did have wells for the hot pot, so I saw people have to get up to dip and cook their meats in the hotpot broths. Not a good set up. Parking is easily found on the streets, but be warned you need to feed the meters till 8 pm even on Sunday.
