Got here on an early Saturday morning at around 9am and there were two people ahead of me. The person who was working there immediately let me know how many people were ahead of me and how long it would take. He told me less than 30 minutes and after the two people ahead of me were finished it took less than 30 minutes. It was cold outside too so the person told me i can sit in the passenger seat while he conducts the smog check. Great service and theres an online coupon you can use to get a discount. This is the updated review of KS Smog , recently I had problems with my alternator belt my baby XB begin to squeak and I need to get a fix. I have to shopping around the area I remember that I went to this awesome smog shop for my car earlier in the year. I decided to give KS a call. Mister Kashmir was extremely professional and quoted me with a awesome price that I cannot refuse. When I took the car in and looked at the bottom of the car we inspected the belts and it was needed. Also his mechanic pointed out that I have a leak in the water pump and it showed all the dry corrosion that was on the bottom of my vehicle . He highly suggested that I would get that fixed as well because due to the fact it will fail very soon. After talking to him about it I explain him my financial situation due to the fact I am disabled, He gave me a discount on both of the jobs. The work quickly got done in about 4 -5 hrs . Now my car runs great with no leaky water pump on the bottom and no squeaky sound come to see Mr. Kashmir at his auto repair shop here is where you get treated like family he also gave me tips to help me with my health issues. I had checked on Yelp to get prices for a smog because a couple of years ago I ended up paying way too much at a place down the street from my house. Yelp had a place to request a quote and so I filled out my car model, year and zip code. Within an hour I had quotes from several local places. I chose this place because it was on my way home, a great price and it has good reviews. I got there and it was super hot out and the one guy was working on one car and had one more waiting. He told me it would be a half hour so I waited in my car. Within 10 minutes he finished the car he was working on and moved onto the next person. After about 15 minutes he asked me to pull my car up behind a car in the second bay and said he could start mine while finishing the other car and told me to stay in the car if I wanted to. I moved to the passenger side so that he could easily access what he needed. 45 minutes after arriving I was done and passed. The email quote I received I was told to let the guy know before he started working on my car and I did. I got the inspection and certificate for $38 total and will happily tell others to go there. read more

I've been to other places where I swear I was ripped off...advertised $40 and tried to charge me $80...Anyways...I'm glad I found KS Smog and I will not go anywhere else again...and will be referring my family and friends. When it was my turn, Michael opened the umbrella so I can sit comfortably with shade, and he advised it will only be around 5 mins. This year I didn't bother looking at my renewal notification from the DMV. That was my mistake, because on the other side of my renewal it stated take vehicle to the nearest smog check station. The bad part is that it was after 5 pm on a Friday and I only had 2 days before my tags expired. Everyone know that California has some of the highest taxes/fees in the country so paying a late fee on top of fee's that are already much higher than they should be was not an option. I needed a smog check and I was on a deadline. I had researched various places and determined KS to be the best, based on price, location and reviews. I went on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, I was told that the business was actually closed at 4 P.M. It was already a bit after 4. The technician approached my car and I told him it was urgent. He motioned me to pull over, as to get in line. Whew!!!...
