We brought our toddler for her first dental visit after preparing her in advance by talking about…read morethe dentist and practicing at home. Unfortunately, the experience felt rushed and not developmentally appropriate for a first visit. The office itself is very overstimulating (arcade-like waiting area, open bay with multiple chairs, loud cartoons), which may work for some children but was overwhelming for ours. Once we were brought back, the hygienist lowered the chair without warning or explanation, which immediately frightened our child and caused significant distress. As she became increasingly upset, the response was to suggest holding her hands and legs to continue the exam. For a non-urgent, first visit, this did not feel appropriate to us. During this time, a second hygienist made joking comments and laughed about our child's distress, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we chose to end the visit, we were told "it will be the same next time," rather than discussing alternative, child-centered approaches. This was surprising, as we have had very different experiences at other pediatric dental practices where first visits focus on comfort, narration, and gradual exposure rather than restraint. Parents considering this office should be aware of the approach used here and decide whether it aligns with their expectations for a child's first dental experience.

They fixed his teeth in 4 separate visits instead of putting him to sleep. They were kind and patient with him. I cannot recommend wee care enough. We love it here. Dr. Farid has completely changed my life. I have never written a review before but the world needs…read moreto know! I literally cried (of happiness!!!) during my first appointment with her, and on several occasions since. After years of dental problems - severe TMJ, repeated fractured teeth, crowns that I would grind out of my mouth in my sleep despite multiple different mouth guards - I decided to try a new dentist and found Dr. Farid. Instead of telling me how we would fix each individual problem that I was having, she told me we needed to change how my mouth works as a whole. I was floored - in all the years of going to numerous dentists, no one had EVER suggested that my mouth could be fixed! She laid out a plan for how we would accomplish this and told me the end result would be teeth that are functional and beautiful. It has been somewhat of a long journey, but right on point with the expectations she set during that first meeting, and I can now say that she came through on her promise and, somehow, more. Thinking about all she has done for me brings tears to my eyes every time. She saw me as a whole person instead of looking at a tooth or a cavity that needed to be fixed. She takes so much care in her work, and always gave me as many options as she could to make me as comfortable as possible. And she never ever made me feel rushed, no matter how many questions I had or how many times after an appointment I called with more follow up questions. As if all that isn't enough, her team completes this perfect package. Her dental hygienist, Nataliya, and her receptionist, Rhonda, are incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, and were all-in sharing the excitement with me each time we reached a new milestone in my treatment plan. I truly feel like I have a forever-(dental)home at Purely Smiles and I will sing their praises until my dying day. If you want to know what its like to cry tears of joy at the dentist then this is the place to go!

Now all my crowns and bridge is worn down and has holes because it wasn't cemented correctly. Now I have at least $15,000 worth of dental work to be done. I called the office and left a vm explaining what happened. I used to be a dental assistant. You have to check the bite to make sure it's not hitting other teeth and dental work so this doesn't happen. I never got a call back and now I'm stuck with a big expense.

Hello, So I don't…read morebelieve I will be returning to this establishment ever again. There needs to be some more consideration for patients. I work thirds and I only got like maybe 1 hour of sleep in between the past 48 hours. I work at a hospital. Anyways, today I was turned away from my appointment because I did not verbally confirm my appointment via phone. I filled out the pre registration and confirmed the appointment four days before hand. During the phone call I received I was sleeping for about 1 hour so I could function and drive to this appointment. Drove about 45 minutes and did not receive any sort of notification that my appointment was cancelled. I've just never heard of such a thing honestly. Seems like a good way to lose business in my opinion. I understand that people are unreliable and you probably have a lot of no shows, but this is a whole new level in my opinion. I confirmed my appointment via email 4 days in advance that I would be there, drove 45 mins to get to this appointment just to be told it was cancelled because I was not available to take a phone call to confirm my appointment two hours in advance. I mean what if someone was unavailable to take said phone call was at work, or in a business meeting, or catching up on sleep like I was what little I could in between shifts. I mean I took time out of my busy schedule to give you my precious time and business but I guess you do not want it anymore. Also, I was told that I received a text to confirm this appointment as well. There is no such text on my phone whatsoever. Just I feel like this was very inconsiderate to the patient, especially those that work in the healthcare field. Such an inconvenience to me personally and I will not be back again. I would not suggest this place to anyone ever. If you would like to have your time wasted be my guest. Such an inconvenience to me and a waste of my time driving all the way there just to be told there is no appointment anymore because I didn't confirm I was going to be there ahead of time?!!! Two hours in advance? I could see 24 hours maybe for those that work long hours and might be more available in that time frame at least, but two hours?!!!!! Need to be more considerate of those that work and have responsibilities beyond responding to a phone call for a dentist appointment they plan on being at irregardless of how tired they are and driving out of their way to make that appointment. Lost my business is all I can say. Also, there is no business manager?!! How do you run a business without a manager? Who solves disputes in that case? Who is helping set these policies that are put in place and enforcing these policies? Unsound business practice in my opinion. A good way to lose business that should be patient centered supposedly and is clearly not. Thank you for your time.
