Wow wow so I failed ! I lived in this area for so long and I never came to this place. I'm sorry Ruen Thai! My friend said hey let's go have Thai and I'm like say less I'll drive ! He swore by this place and I'm like let's do I'm game. Well you walk in and it's decorated so nice and took me back to when I visited Thailand. The place is super clean and very well organized. The service was hospitable, friendly, and prompt. They would come by and ask how we are doing and it really felt nice and not pressured. They greeted you with smiles every time and even at the end asked if we needed boxes. They didn't just come and drop them off, they brought a cart and placed the leftovers for you in the containers. Totally next level hospitality right there. Let's talk food ok so I love pad Thai with chicken. This was so freaking good it made me sad that I'm leaving in a week, and won't be able to enjoy it more but I'll be back ! The spring rolls were a big hit my friend killed em then asked if I wanted some lol. The chicken skewers were outstanding. In all if you're in the area and in the mood for Thai food, stop here you won't be disappointed!

Came in here for a weekend dinner based on the high reviews. Located in a very crowded strip shopping space, the parking is challenging, and people (drivers parking) had the "I don't care what you think" attitude. Really annoying, the lack of basic courtesy. We were seated quickly and provided menus. The interior is nice inside, and clean. It was pretty busy by the time we ordered, and the sound level was amped up a bit. Again, some diners didn't really care if everyone heard their loud conversations. Our server was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. But, the meal itself was very underwhelming. We requested the higher levels of spice 'heat', yet, nothing was impactful. The larb salad with chicken was basically ground chicken with a few pieces of lettuce. No other veggie items in this. And, very little flavor. Panang curry with pork was also quite flavorless even when we requested it be spicy, and the rice that was served with the Panang was stuck together and dry like it had been sitting out on the counter for quite some time. Pad Thai noodles were gummy and just not good. Overall we were definitely not impressed and will continue to go elsewhere for our Thai food cravings. There are so many other options in the Roseville area.

Delicious, friendly prompt service and nice decore. Came with my foodie 17 year old son and the food was scrumptious. We ordered chicken Jungle Curry with coconut milk, pad si Ew with Chicken noodles, Gai Satay appetizer, and Jasmine Tea. My favorite was the Curry. One order is able to feed 2 people or if you order more food can feed 3 -4 people. We had left overs to feed 2 more people. My son loved the noodles. Definitely give this place a try if you are in Roseville area. I loved the wood wall panels and designs all around. Food look so great I forgot to take pictures of our dishes but they were all delicious.

Kow Pad Kra Pow. Basil fried rice with chicken and a Thai iced tea. Oh and my favorite Thai chili fish sauce.

I love this place! The girls know my name and order just by my voice when I call. The food is amazing. Cooked to absolute perfection. My favorite order is Kow Pad Kra Pow. Basil fried rice with chicken. And Thai tea. Don't skip the Thai tea it's the best and I love when they add the flower to my straw. I feel spoiled every time. The portions are large. The location is convenient, right in the corner of eureka and rocky ridge. There is plenty of parking and the dinning is welcoming with traditional Thai decor.

Red Curry Pumpkin - we got the pumpkin curry with tofu and veggies. It was not too heavy and not too strong of a pumpkin flavor.

Great Thai place in Roseville. The Tom yum soup, pumpkin curry and drunken noodles were excellent and priced fairly. The parking is very tight with several popular restraints in the area.

Ruen Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Roseville/Rocklin/Lincoln area. When I am hungry after working out at my gym, this is the nearby restaurant that pops into mind first. I find myself craving either Pad Thai (rice noodles), Pad Thai Chaiya (crystal noodles), or Pad Ka Prow with Pork. I just love chewy noodles. Warning: Thai food is known for its spiciness. Curry can't help but be spicy. I always order the mildest 1 from a scale of 1 to 5. The Pad Thai Chaiya Noodles is still somewhat spicy even if you order level 1 or 2. If you love spicy, this place will be your jam. Lunch specials are available Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 3 PM. There are 25 choices! It comes with a small side salad with sweet peanut dressing. Assuming you are not ordering a noodle or fried rice dish, you get your choice of Jasmine White Rice or Brown Rice. Besides the lunch specials, I like ordering a sizable Small Bowl of Soup for $7.95. I was impressed with the amount of ingredients in the Crystal Noodle Soup (14), but I needed to season it. The Tom Kha Gai (11) is the traditional coconut soup with mushrooms, green onions, cilantro, lime juice, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, kalanga roots, and your choice of chicken, tofu, or vegetables (you can ask for a combo of all 3). The soup flavor is yummy and addictive, but I wish the lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and kalanga roots were kept separate in a spice or seasoning sachet for easy removal because they were too hard and inedible to me. The chicken slices seemed overcooked, so I preferred the tofu and its texture. I probably would still order chicken in the future, though! I think a small bowl of soup with a bowl of rice might be the perfect bargain meal at Ruen Thai. The Thai Iced Coffee tastes like it has chocolate syrup. Apparently, Thai coffee naturally has a chocolate flavor. Unique, but I think I prefer Thai Iced Tea. I wish the rectangular lunch plates were bigger because I can't mix or combine my food without food falling off the plate. Service is fast and efficient. The restaurant has dark wood paneled walls with pretty Thai cultural decor. The restaurant stays cool in the summer with its AC and darkened environment. Give Ruen Thai a try! It's located in the plaza on the corner of Eureka Road and Rocky Ridge Drive in Roseville. P.S. This is my huge list of foods I want to try! Pumpkin Red Curry (special) Mango Yellow Curry (special) Jungle Curry (special) Rad Nar Mee Krob (special, 64 under Noodles) Khao Soy (special, curry noodle soup) Keaw Nam (13, wonton soup) Yum Neau (18, beef salad) Pla Goong (20, shrimp salad) Yum Pla Muk (21, calamari salad) Yum Ta-Lay (22, seafood combination salad) Yum Vun Sen (23, crystal noodle seafood & chicken salad) Pad Khing Sod (28) Pad Broccoli (30) Pad Vun Sen Noodles (34) Pad Ma Kuer (35, eggplant) Pad Prig Khing (36, green beans) Roasted Duck Curry (39) Mussamun Curry (44) Pad Ped Goong (47, shrimp in savory sauce) Pad Ped Pla Muk (48, calamari in savory sauce) Goong Khao Pod On (49, shrimp, mushrooms, carrots, baby corn in gravy) Pad Ped Talay (53, seafood combination in savory sauce) Ba Mee Bet Hang (62, roast duck egg noodles)

Roseville - went to teambuilding and had lunch at this place. Ambiance and service was great. First time trying Thai food- I had seafood curry soup and it was great ( though a lot of bell pepper). The taste of ginger coconut soup was great. Their thai coffee was okay but a bit sweet.

Jungle curry and brown rice and Spaghetti.

Please note that if you find on the weekend you pay dinner price no matter what time you dine. They are able to notify some meals for vegan just ask. I liked that they cot the spice level right. My jungle curry was more like jungle soup as I ordered it without coconut milk. The big plus was the amount and variety of veggies that it came with.

I ordered the Pad Mee Kow or Drunken Noodles with Beef just based off Yelp photos. I don't normally order this dish, but it's best I've had. Lots of beef. Not the most tender meat, so maybe pork would be better. On my next lunch visit, I ordered Pad Ka Prow with Ground Pork & Brown Rice and a small Crystal Noodles Soup. You can choose a spice level from 1 (mild) to 5 (most spicy). I chose level 3, but I probably would be happier with level 1 or 2. Choice of jasmine rice or brown rice. I enjoyed the chewy texture and appearance of the brown rice. Pad Ka Prow is tasty. I loved the Crystal Noodles Soup. It's seasoned well with lots of ingredients, like chicken, wood ear mushrooms, and Napa cabbage. There are 5 different soups that you can order as a Small portion, including Tom Yum, Tom Kha, and Wonton Soup. I look forward to trying more soups. I liked the ambiance, pretty Thai decor, muted green dining room, and easy listening music, often love songs. Thai Basil would be a good restaurant for a date. Service was willing to answer my questions and identify dishes from photographs for me.

I was sitting in front of the counter, just a few feet away, and I could clearly see that my order was already finished and just sitting there. And yet -- nobody said a word. I waited for about 10 minutes hoping someone would finally notice me, but I was basically treated like I was invisible. Only after I walked up and asked myself did they finally hand me the order, with zero interest or professionalism. Completely unacceptable customer service. The food wasn't much better. It was very average at best. The meat in my dish was tough, poorly cooked, bland, and almost flavorless. Honestly, even the worst restaurant in Thailand serves better Thai food than this. I will 100% never come back. Definitely not recommended.

The restaurant is nice and clean and comfortable. Very simply and tastefully decorated and the staff were pleasant and let us take our time getting settled in to the menu. We all ordered their cream cheese wontons to share, and they were so good, we ordered two more orders! They were more flavorful, with the addition of garlic, than the usual ones you get at other restaurants, and we all really enjoyed them! The curries my step granddaughters ordered looked heavenly and they really liked them, and my husband ordered his favorite dish, Thai basil beef, my father and mother in law and I ordered pineapple shrimp and chicken fried rice, and my stepson ordered a curry dish. We all really enjoyed them and their servings are HUGE! We all took home leftovers, which was a plus! Be prepared for large servings! The only drawback (if you want to consider it that) to our dinner was the level of spiciness here. Fr those of us who ordered mild heat, it was way more spicy than we are used to, so, if you aren't a fan of very spicy Thai food, be aware and order it with none. My father and mother in law, who are in their mid 80's, were smart and ordered their fried rice with no spice. I've never been to a Thai restaurant (one of my favorite cuisines!) that had such spicy mil. I just thought I'd warn my fellow Yelpers who are sensitive to hot and spicy food. We all left happy and really enjoyed our food. Oh, their Thai iced tea is delicious and is a very reasonable price, compared to other Thai restaurants.
