Really enjoyed my meal at Sai Gon Bite! The portion was huge and everything tasted fresh. The beef short rib was especially good -- tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Toan and I Tried Saigon Bites in Roseville during their soft opening and came away impressed. We ordered the egg rolls, beef pho, and a rice plate with grilled meat and a fried egg. The egg rolls were hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. The pho had a rich, comforting broth with plenty of tender beef, fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and jalapeños. The rice plate was generous, with nicely grilled meat, a perfectly cooked egg, fresh vegetables, and plenty of flavor. The portions were substantial, the food came out fresh, and everything looked as good as it tasted. Was really excited to try this place since there aren't many Vietnamese restaurants in the Roseville area. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't the best. I was excited to try their beef dishes, but they were completely sold out around noon. Since it was their soft opening, I gave them some grace . service was also pretty slow, even though it wasn't very busy. I ended up ordering the pho, the wonton soup and the chicken spring roll. The broth for both soups were flavorful and decent. Now I might be a bit picky about my sauces, but I did not like how the hoisin and Siracha sauces came out in tiny sauce dish instead of bottles on the table. Half the fun of pho is deciding how much sauce your ancestors would disapprove of. The spring rolls were pretty bland, the vermicelli was playing hide and seek because I barely noticed any, mainly consisting of lettuce and a tiny slice of cucumber Things took a turn when I found a piece of plastic in my food. Couldn't dine in because I had a sleepy kid with me, so I ordered takeout during lunch. There was a little wait, but the server let me know the wait time and checked in to see if I needed anything. The place has a nice ambience, plenty of seating, and a good variety of dishes. I didn't expect much since it was a togo order, but both dishes I got were surprisingly yummy. Great portions for the price, and the taste was amazing. If you have a picky eater, I highly recommend the Shaken Beef, my kid loved it I don't usually order milk tea at a restaurant, but it was warm out so I gave it a try. Open for less than 2 weeks as I write this, this place and the family have hit a home run! Food is delicious. The dining room is pleasant. The employee owners are all friendly and smiling. I ordered the Pork banh mi and the fresh roll with BBQ chicken. Banh mi was warm, the high quality bread crunchy , the vegetables crispy fresh. The spring rolls come as 2. The size is smaller than average. The construction of the roll is perfect. The flavors are way above average. I was a regular customer at Urban Rolls in this very same location. This replacement is an improvement. As you see in the photos the soft opening menu is abbreviated. I'm hoping that more menu items will be added. How's about a nice fresh and crispy banh xeo? Behold a new Vietnamese restaurant has come back !!' I was sad that my usual Vietnamese restaurant was closed and was searching for a new place. This new decor has much more accommodating seats, still have remnants of the previous restaurant but now has more tables and seating which is great when the next cold season. They added TV and extra two screens for menu and entertainment. Now for the food it was delicious still have pho and sandwiches but added additional rice and macaroni dishes. The grilled pork had the wonderful char with extra egg cake and pickled veggies. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. read more

Highly recommend this spot! We ordered the egg rolls, banh mi chao, grilled chicken banh mi, strawberry tea, and passionfruit tea, and everything was so yummy. The egg rolls were flavorful, fresh and flaky. The banh mi chao was delicious and savory, and the bread that came with it was soft and fresh. The grilled chicken banh mi was also amazing. The strawberry tea and passionfruit tea were refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated inside. We have found our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. We wanted to try out this new restaurant for lunch. My wife isn't a big Vietnamese food person but she went anyway. She tried the beef dish with onions and rice and her statement was this is the best steak I have ever eaten. I had the chicken wings and they were incredible. I also ordered the beef, jalapeño pho. I can say the service was great the time to get food was short and we will make this our go to Vietnamese Restaurant. Give it a try and you can thank me later. read more

New vietnamese spot in Roseville, they're still in the soft opening stage. Restaurant is cozy, maybe about 10-12 tables inside. Came in at around 2 pm, quite a bit of open tables, so service was pretty quick. Food was good. They have banh mi chao! Iced vietnamese coffee was strong but not too sweet. read more

Stopped in for a bowl of pho and it hit the spot. The broth was incredibly flavorful, rich, and served hot. Generous portions of tender beef and meatballs, topped off with plenty of fresh cilantro and onions. The side plate came stacked with fresh basil, sprouts, and jalapeños to customize every bite. I really wanted to like this place because 1. West Roseville needs more good restaurants and 2. Roseville needs more good Asian restaurants. Unfortunately this restaurant is not good. Gave them a couple weeks to work out the kinks but they still need to improve big time. First of all, after we got seated, another couple came in after us and got seated and they took their order first. Not that big of a deal right? Well, we will get back to that. When the waitress finally got to us, we thought let's try the banh mi chao, not many restaurants around here have that. Well apparently either did they. They ran out, at 12pm. Ok let's try their Saigon signature rice dish. It's their signature dish, it must be good. I wouldn't know, they didn't have that either. Ok let's look again at their menu, pork chop rice dish is crossed out so at least i didn't have to bother trying to order that. Finally settled on the grilled pork and rice and a bowl of pho. There was a reason they still had pho as an option. Portion was small, amount of meat was skimpy and the tendon was hard. Grilled pork dish was mediocre at best. Waitress also served my meal without giving us eating utensils and I had to flag her down to ask for some. Not sure why they don't have them on the table like most restaurants. Oh yeah, about the waitress taking our order after the couple that came after us, guess what I saw her bring out to them when I glanced over. Yup, that banh mi chao they ran out of. So, poor service, small portions for the price and running out of food 2 hours after opening. I can't give this place a positive review. I really hope they improve or they might not make it. read more

Food is average. I like the taste of urban roll that used to be in its place. Food came out too long of await. Place too warm not enough a/c power. Serviced was good she explained why Food was delayed. Could have said it earlier so we can make changes. Anyway soft opening.. give them some time. Hope they'll improve. read more
