Couldn't dine in because I had a sleepy kid with me, so I ordered takeout during lunch. There was a little wait, but the server let me know the wait time and checked in to see if I needed anything. The place has a nice ambience, plenty of seating, and a good variety of dishes. I didn't expect much since it was a togo order, but both dishes I got were surprisingly yummy. Great portions for the price, and the taste was amazing. If you have a picky eater, I highly recommend the Shaken Beef, my kid loved it I don't usually order milk tea at a restaurant, but it was warm out so I gave it a try. Their jasmine milk tea was even better than what I usually get from milk tea shops. Definitely coming back for more

Open for less than 2 weeks as I write this, this place and the family have hit a home run! Food is delicious. The dining room is pleasant. The employee owners are all friendly and smiling. I ordered the Pork banh mi and the fresh roll with BBQ chicken. Banh mi was warm, the high quality bread crunchy , the vegetables crispy fresh. The spring rolls come as 2. The size is smaller than average. The construction of the roll is perfect. The flavors are way above average. I was a regular customer at Urban Rolls in this very same location. This replacement is an improvement. As you see in the photos the soft opening menu is abbreviated. I'm hoping that more menu items will be added. How's about a nice fresh and crispy banh xeo? Come on down for real good Vietnamese food. I'll see you here.

Behold a new Vietnamese restaurant has come back !!' I was sad that my usual Vietnamese restaurant was closed and was searching for a new place. This new decor has much more accommodating seats, still have remnants of the previous restaurant but now has more tables and seating which is great when the next cold season. They added TV and extra two screens for menu and entertainment. Now for the food it was delicious still have pho and sandwiches but added additional rice and macaroni dishes. The grilled pork had the wonderful char with extra egg cake and pickled veggies. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Highly recommend this spot! We ordered the egg rolls, banh mi chao, grilled chicken banh mi, strawberry tea, and passionfruit tea, and everything was so yummy. The egg rolls were flavorful, fresh and flaky. The banh mi chao was delicious and savory, and the bread that came with it was soft and fresh. The grilled chicken banh mi was also amazing. The strawberry tea and passionfruit tea were refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated inside. If you're looking for delicious Vietnamese food, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Dropped by this place during soft opening and surprisingly the food was yummy! The food was good and service was pretty quick. I would totally recommend this place.

New vietnamese spot in Roseville, they're still in the soft opening stage. Restaurant is cozy, maybe about 10-12 tables inside. Came in at around 2 pm, quite a bit of open tables, so service was pretty quick. Food was good. They have banh mi chao! Iced vietnamese coffee was strong but not too sweet.

We decided to try them out for dinner tonight and ordered the banh mi chao and pork vermicelli. The portions were generous, fresh ingredients and delicious flavors! I'm so glad there's finally a place in west Roseville that sells banh mi chao. We'll be stopping by here often to grab some for brunch

Stopped in for a bowl of pho and it hit the spot. The broth was incredibly flavorful, rich, and served hot. Generous portions of tender beef and meatballs, topped off with plenty of fresh cilantro and onions. The side plate came stacked with fresh basil, sprouts, and jalapeños to customize every bite. Everything was fresh and delicious definitely coming back!

Best matcha is from Offbeat coffee in sac, but the double at Gu Ca Phe is just as good and has its own unique charm. Worth the price, worth the drive! Amazing. If I got it with normal sweetness, I don't think I'd love it as much. Long version: Cute little spot in an unsuspecting location. I don't live in Roseville but was here for an appointment so I stopped by since this place has been on my list. After trying dozens of matchas in Sacramento and surrounding areas, this one definitely rivals the top spot. It's a small location and the service was nice and pretty standard. They also have a kiosk so you can take extra time to scroll through the menu with photos. Not a fan of the AI artwork throughout if I'm being honest but I know it's a sign of the times. And I'm glad their drinks actually do look pretty damn close to the photos unlike other businesses. I got the regular size double matcha, less sweet. If it was regular sweetness, I don't think I'd like it as much. The matcha is good quality, seems like it was freshly handwhisked but not sure. It is strong without being astringent. The matcha cream is amazing and strong as well. You def have to love matcha to enjoy this one. It's going to be stronger than something you find at Starbucks of course. I love matcha to hit me in the face so this drink was perfect. They have the good ice, too ! A similar matcha I've tried, and is my personal #1 across dozens I've tried, is from Offbeat Coffee (x2 matcha). Gu Ca Phe has finessed something similar and I honestly feel like it would be worth the drive from West Sac to Roseville just for Gu Ca Phe's double matcha. I want to try their other drinks. The sugar croiffle was delicious, too!

The interior is small but clean and brightly lit. The coffee is good but weaker than I expect when getting Vietnamese coffee. It is phin dripped, and the classic flavor is there, but less creamy texture. Traditionally the brew is very strong and mixed with condensed milk only - the ice in this instance is necessary to balance the boldness. In this coffee, between the added milk and large amount of ice, it is watered down and not the full bodied experience you would expect. Overall still a good cup, and probably the best you can get in the immediate area, but not wholly satisfying if you are seeking the traditional Vietnamese coffee flavor.

I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!
