In a conversation with the management they said they know they have nails that could cause possible injuries, and have made no efforts to correct it. We will not be going back They also charge you by every two hours so if you go at 1:30 they don't pro rate for the 30 mons you lost at the top of the hour. Nor can you jump for one hour. Fairwell KTR. Today my children were at KTR trying to enjoy themselves when the unthinkable happened. An employee was insulting my son's name. The employee called his name "gay" and "stupid" among other things. This is unthinkable because children should be able to have fun WITHOUT the fear of ridicule from employees at a place where their parents paid for them to spend a few hours. To the employee who was supposed to be working and ensuring the safety of the children on the trampolines around 12PM on Veterans Day, you should know a name can't be "gay." You should also know using the word gay in an negative manner is hurtful. To the owners of KTR, I hope you develop an environment of respect and caring for your establishment. read more

When this place first opened, I was blown away by the wonderful staff. So much so that I left a glowing review on their Facebook page and booked my son's birthday party there. To quote Julia Roberts in pretty woman- Big mistake. Big. Huge. In the past few months, it has gone seriously downhill. The employees are over it, the music is wildly inappropriate, and my party hostess sucked big hairy ballsack. I did all the work and she didn't show up until she brought the bill, where she charged me for babies, and siblings who were only there to drop off. I can't tell you how badly I wanted to tell the world how bad this place has gotten, but I took the high road and sent them a private message instead. They never wrote me back. First and last time I bring my kids here. Horrible experience that I've heard happens all the time. Overcrowded which leads to kids getting pushy and territorial. Breeding ground for teen skaters bullying younger kids that just want to have fun. My kids ended up getting pushed to the floor, called names by older ones and recorded with cellphones in their faces; staff didn't seem to care. The older jerks have a monthly pass and get to spend unlimited time there. Since they bring in more money for the center, guess who gets the most attention? Staff is filled with teens that are just hanging with friends. Any kind of critical comments about standing up to the bullies is met with glassy-eyed stares and "uh-huh". Then they go back to staring at their phones. I can only imagine the crap kids deal with when their parents just drop them off. I grew up in the skate community in the 90s; it was a positive crowd that looked out for each other. Doesn't seem like these older skaters want to mentor the younger ones. But maybe this was just a one time event. I doubt it though from what other parents tell me. Whole place also smells like a locker room. read more

We came for my nephew's 6th birthday party on a Saturday at 4pm. Good stuff: The kids loved it, it's a great place to burn off some serious energy! They can have total free play, or the staff will announce group games over the intercom (like crab tag, I remember playing when I was a kid at day camp). The trampolines are awesome. So incredibly bouncy. Other stuff: -some of the staff was kind of attitude-y. I would think this job is perfect for high schoolers, and anyone who enjoys kids, and high energy. Both one on one, and over the intercom, the tone was that of someone who is annoyed. I could hear the eyes rolling. -the music was kind of inappropriate for kids. "The Hills" by the Weeknd??? Whoops. How did that make the playlist? Not saying that they have to play Zipity Doo Dah, but that is a poor choice. And I like the Weeknd.. -my sister-in-law paid for 2 hours for the party, and that only comes with 1 hour in the private party area, the other hour being for play. She seemed not to realize this, so not sure if this was clear when she reserved the area. -prepare to fill out a lengthy waiver at entry on an iPad dock. Kind of invasive, email should be optional, not required. But I get it. 4 stars, because the negative stuff is what an adult is more aware of than the kids. read more

1. I tried to redeem my Groupon here and the trainee must have processed it wrong because she told me it was already marked as redeemed. They finally let us in though! 2. We were told that skateboards and much of the other equipment mentioned on the website were not included at all. You have to bring all of your own stuff. 3. I did bring my BMX bike all the way from Las Vegas to use here and they refused to let me use it any day during my trip because the dates I'm in town are "not BMX night". This was never mentioned. 4. The entire gym area was CLOSED and they told us the gym was NOT included in our Groupon deal although the deal clearly states that it includes unlimited facility usage. We did not know the gym was closed when we arrived so we tried to go inside to use the equipment and were VERY rudely turned away by some oldish guy. 5. This place is RIDDLED with 8 year old kids. Such an Awesome indoor action park! Kids of all ages will love the trampolines, indoor skate park area, bouncy gymnastics mats, ninja warrior type courses and more! Snack bar is convenient but mostly loaded with carbs and tons of sugar, would have been a 5 star for me if there were a few healthy foods. Free wifi is awesome for those of us who are able to work remote. They do have a kids area for the little kids and rent scooters and skateboards if you want to do that. No outside food or drink allowed. Super safe with tons of staff at each activity to keep the peace, oh, and only one at a time on the trampolines... read more

I'm giving this place 4 stars because my kid's love it and it has been great for them through the pandemic and now. Nice to see kids active and socializing! So my one complaint is that there cleanliness has went away since everything has lifted. I think the cleaning needs to keep up to a high standards since there is a tons of kids every time we go now. For example today my son had his stuff in a cubby and someone spilled there drink all over his backpack shoes and skateboard.... how did they manage that!? Then a kid threw up in the trampoline area and the kid's were diverted to the blue mat area. At that point they should have shut things down for a thorough sanitization of the whole place. Mind you we left. In the past couple weeks it's been filthy. I hope they can get the young staff more on a cleaning schedule or hire more staff just a suggestion. This is a great place for scooter riders and they are hard to come by! We drive 40 minutes to an hour to get here, every single weekend and it's totally worth it! It's a little pricey if you pay by the day, but if you have a membership and go Friday, Saturday and Sunday, every weekend, plus any days off school, like my son does, it's well worth it! My husband averaged out the cost of the membership, what my son spends on food and what we spend in the shop on maintenance for his scooter (bearings, grip tape ect. when needed) and it came to about $2 to $3 an hour! Where can you drop your kids off for that kind of price??? It costs more to play sports these days! Thank you for providing a safe and fun place for my son to ride his scooter! There are no places for my son to ride his scooter near us, as he is kicked out from our local outdoor skatepark for not riding a skateboard! Please build one in North Phoenix ASAP!!! read more

I took my gang of boys here a few weeks ago and they had a blast! I had to drag them out when it was time to leave! We have been a few times and I HIGHLY recommend doing the forms online prior to arrival. Make sure you fill out the one for the "Chandler" location or it won't show when you get there. This was a mistake I made! Although, a tiny bit annoying that I had to refill everything out for 5 people again... I didn't mind because Brooklin was so very helpful. We had two other boys that were ready to go and do she helped me get them inside to play while I finished doing the other forms. She didn't make me wait in the super long line again to get the other half of my party in. Great service from her! Great staff! Even I enjoyed playing and running around with them. Pricing is great if you have a big family because the whole gang under family pricing is $40 bucks! Can't beat it! As a parent of kids in multiple age groups my only recommendation would be to have a few cameras throughout the place that transmit the other areas of the arena. It's a huge place and although I was running around with my kiddos it would be nice just to hang out in the adult waiting area LOL! It's a huge place and you can't always see what's going on In the other areas. It would be nice just to be able to look up and see the skateboard area and the trampoline pits etc! Over all awesome! update: so the last 3 times we have been within 48-72 hours everyone develops pink eye or step. At first, I was like it's just kids being kids etc......but by the third time I was much much smarter!!! So what does a smart mom with the heart of a teach do? Well......she orders Petri dishes from amazon and tells her kids not to wash their hands post KTR. We swabbed and waited for the the stuff to grow and OMG!!!! Teachable moment!!!!!! The smell of all the crap growing on the little dishes stunk up my entire kitchen within a few days. I had even taped them shut and carefully put each germ filled dish in a sealed plastic bag. The smell was like 4 day old Indian food in a soggy diaper. It was really that bad. Within 3 days the Petri dishes SMELLED so bad we had to remove them from the safe keeping zone! I even taped the lids down so they would not be contaminated. Although, I have a teaching degree, I am not a microbiologist and just an armature science nerd! Dangerous!!!Beware of the equipment at this place! When this place first opened it was a great place for all ages to come play and work on tumbling and tricks. It had been 2 years since I had last been to This KTR location. I am 135 lbs and bottomed out on the bouncy blue floor twice hitting the cement when flipping. I brought the concern to a staff member and The staff were kind and filled the floors with air however the floors seemed to quickly deflate within 5 minutes and were unsafe for anyone tumbling/ flipping who was over 100 lbs. when I brought the concern to staff once again the young staff member reported this happens a lot. Shame on the management and owners. I left after an hour into the visit as I did not want to get seriously injured and did not trust the surface of the floors. Sad... this used to be a fun place for teens and young adults to come trick and flip but now the equipment is unsafe. read more

My daughter went to jump with some friends and there were exposed nails. My daughter got a pretty deep cut on the nail and it ripped her pants. The staff did not care. I tried to tell them where the nail was so that they could secure it so another child would not get hurt and I was told they did not have time. I called when I got home and asked to speak to the owner and was told that they were not allowed to give out owner information. I left my number and am still waiting for an owner to call me back. This is the second time my child has been cut by a nail at this location. They are completely unsafe and uncaring. They need to maintain the equipment. We will never return. So my review on this place is a little mixed. Its a great place for kids to be active, all the bullying reviews I read...... I can not comment on that because I watched my son and nephew play and there were not any problems. I took them in to try the ninja warrior class. Both of them had a blast, it was great watching their smiling faces jumping around everywhere, participating in the obstacles and engaging with the instructor. I want to make sure I thank the instructor Brendon for showing the boys such a great time. He was fun, friendly, knowledgeable and caring with each of the kids in the small class. Thanks again! The class was only 30 min and we were able to try the first class for free. After watching them have such a wonderful time I wanted to sign them up for just the classes. Here is where the mixed review comes in. I found out from the front desk you can not pay per class and you can not sign up for just the classes. If you want to participate in the classes you have to sign up for their membership. Well their membership includes everything which are the classes and all the free jump and skate time they want. Neither of them wanted to really participate in the free jump, or skate, they wanted to learn parkour stuff. So unfortunately paying $150 a month for unlimited classes and play was not worth it for us. I think they should have an option for those kids who want to participate in just the classes. I wouldn't mind paying per class since we would only come down there a few times a month when we had time. Other than the way their classes work, this place is pretty neat. It's a little chaotic inside when its filled with kids, but everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. I don't really recommend this place for kids under 6, even though they do have a specific area for them to play in alone. There is too much going on all around that the older kids don't pay much attention to what they are doing or where they are going. A lot of parents just drop their kids off and leave, so there is only staff supervision. I think with a few tweaks this place would be 5 stars no problem. Also last piece of advice, before you come, sign the wavier online so you don't have to do it when you get there, its time consuming! read more

The staff are superb and answer any questions and concerns right away as well as make my children feel safe! To top off the fantastic skatepark, parkour area, trampolines, and cafe, they have a stellar retail shop that offers the highest quality brands in Skateboarding, Scootering, Protective Gear and Apparel! This place is a great setup however the staff is very immature and not equipped to handle all the bullies that frequent this place. If you have little ones (meaning under 12) and out playing with the crowd they WILL get bullied and the young il-equipped staff will just stand and watch. Basically they just stand and watch until someone gets hurt. I think that's why their waiver is so long I can't imagine how many laws waiting to happen there. Horrible staff watching the kids. Sad to post this as our kids frequent this location quite a bit. Anyway, made big plans for the kids to enjoy the Christmas Eve session. Showed up at 10am and the doors were closed. We and about 20 others stood outside waiting for it to open and left disappointed. No notice on their website, phone message, or a sign on the door. Had to change plans for the entire day. I called a few days later and the young man (manager) I spoke with was very kind but said the owner decided to close it for Christmas Eve last minute. With NO notifications to the customers? This place is not for families. That attract teenage skater kids and all you hear is foul language and a bunch of disrespectful kids. I have four kids age 11 and younger. My 4 five year old told me a kid told him to get the F*** out of the way. My son was pushed by a group of teenage boys who said he couldn't be on the gym course. I told a manager and he said that a lot of kids do that and he would ask them to stop. They kept doing the same thing. We won't be back. My if you have a 14 year old you want to learn foul language and hang with bad kids this is a great place. If not I recommend you stay clear. read more

My 11 year old son loves coming here with friends and riding his scooter for hours. There are lot of things to do here: Parkour, skating, scootering and jumping on the trampoline. Great place to bring the kids to wear them out. They also sell pro scooters here for the same prices you'd find at other stores. The best part is the sitting area for parents...they have comfortable couches, outlets to charge electronics and a nice food/drink area. I'm happy they changed the rates to per hour instead of per session. Only negative I noticed is that you have to keep a close eye on the younger ones because some of the teenage kids like to pick on them and let them know they are in their way. No major issues though, usually the employees catch it. Wish there was one closer to home! read more

Always a good time at KTR! However, it is pretty pricy. Hubby and I came here with 6 kids. Just a little advice, complete the waiver online prior to arrival. It'll save you about 15 minutes of your time waiting for a computer. Also, try to eat before coming too. A 12" pizza was $10. The place is pretty cool! There is free Wifi available. There are lots of fun activities here from trampolines, trapeze sets and skate ramps just to name a few. They even have play areas appropriate for the teeny tots! read more

My kids have been going to this location for the last 2 years and have always had a great time. They meet their friends and I feel that it's a safe environment. My son has talked about the staff hanging out with them and giving them tips for tricks on their scooters. Looks like a few trouble makers may have got in trouble and maybe kicked out and now want to post bad reviews. We bought the summer pass this year and it's a great value! I would like to give them five stars. My kids love this place. Let me tell you why I am giving them one star. I have four kids, two of which were born monkeys. When I found out about KTR Mesa older said monkey was ecstatic to start parkour and get to jump off of and swing on things. It was a bit far for us and so we have been eagerly awaiting the opening of KTR Chandler. The two places work differently. KTR Mesa you pay a start up fee and then pay per class per child. KTR Chandler you can come pay for one session or one day pass or you can buy a monthly membership for individual or family. We thought $200 a bit pricey since we were originally just looking into it for one or two kids but when we saw all the amenities we decided to splurge and see where we could cut costs elsewhere. We already have a home weight gym and cardio equipment at home for the adults and I have a separate gym membership but still the X-fit classes sounded promising and my husband was excited to act like a ninja warrior on their rings and such. We figured we could get in 1-3 days per week and spend some time lifting weights or doing rowing machines while our kids were thrilled to have pollen-free trampoline time, parkour, and a scooter park where they weren't in danger of getting run over by cars. I love almost everything about this place. It is well staffed, good rules, good lighting. The music is a bit loud for my tender ears but I can see how it's appropriate for it's audience so I can deal with it. There is only one problem. I have a hard time making it to their X-fit classes because of my schedule. No sweat. I make it to my other gym at their class times and I usually lift weights nights with my husband. Saturdays, however, we go for at least a couple hours in the middle of the day or in the afternoon. Today we went in and decided to do our weight lifting so we wouldn't have to do it tonight at home. The problem was that every Saturday I have gone, there is a male staff member in there lifting weights and he is quick to tell you that it "closed." One Saturday I asked if I could just use the rowing machine and he assented. I noticed he also pulled down the garage door soon afterward to separate it from the rest of the arena so no one else would get too curious. This week there were some couples in there lifting so I told my husband we should also. There's plenty of room and plenty of bars and weights. One problem. The sound system in the fitness area is separate from the rest of the arena and this apparently means that the gentleman who counts himself in charge in there puts on his own music. Which is obscene. I mean, I don't think it could have been any more obscene. Luckily, due to the level of the music in the arena, despite the door to the fitness area being open, it isn't TOO OBVIOUS though not entirely unhearable that the F word is being used 100 times per song and that the B---s are being F----- by the rapper/hip hop songwriter in the lyrics. I came in at first and did 25 minutes of rowing and the first song was truly terrible so I asked him if he would change it. He did. The songs got a little better for a bit, but by the time my husband came in to lift weights, the F word and the "whores" had returned with a vengeance. I finally asked him if he wouldn't change the song again and he thought for a couple seconds and replied that actually the fitness room was "closed right then so he could listen to whatever he wanted." Well now, I thought I must be confused. I hadn't realized that when I signed up for a membership that we were only allowed in the fitness room during class times. After all, I am paying monthly gym fees. I only pay $28 at my regular gym and that includes child care for four kids. They let their members lift weights without individual supervision there! I went to the front desk and asked when the fitness room is open during the day. Are there certain hours that it is closed? She said that during the week there are certain hours that it is closed but on Saturdays it is always open to members. Sometimes the garage door is down but you can always find a staff member and they will open if for you. I told her about the gym jerk making the business his own personal gym complete with his endearing playlist and she said she would talk to him. I assume she did. I noticed that the men closed the garage door soon afterward for some privacy. I was tempted to go ask her to open it so I could go finish my work out but I have a personal policy about not living heavy weights when I am angry. I think it leads to injury. So, if you are coming here only for your kids, this place is for you. But if you have some delusion that you are going to love every staff member in this place and that the place is run with members in mind, you should probably think again. Personally, my $200 has already been paid this month so I'm sure going back there next week and this time I won't take no for an answer when it comes to the obscene. read more

Today I took my 7 year old nieces here and it is a super cool place. Skate park on the right side with trampolines in the middle and rings and tumbling on the left side. We spent most of our time on the trampolines but one thing is for certain, there has got to be some kind of system for taking turns. Some kids are just as rude as their adult parents. Also, there should be more clear signage that tells people to fill out their necessary waiver before waiting in line to pay. Otherwise it's a cool place. read more

This place is very fun for kids but has some major issues. There are three areas for members of the family to sit who are not participating (i.e. Adults). Unfortunately two of them are off limits - special parties only - even when there are no special parties. That means for most adults there is no place to sit. But worse than that is that there was a group of older kids bullying my grandkids and the staff they complained to blew them off. From the quality of the facility to the fantastic staff, the party was a great success. I especially would like to thank the staff for their attentiveness and effort.
