Napili Point…read morehas everything we look for when we come to Maui: it's quiet, has wonderful snorkeling literally right outside your door, helpful and kind staff, kitchen with amenities, view....and some of the best prices on the island for ocean front properties with kitchens. We were in a 1 BR + loft unit on the second floor in Napili. This was needed due to our group arrangements (two teen boys, two adults). The boys slept in the twin beds in our back bedroom, we slept upstairs in the loft with a gorgeous view out onto Honokeana Cove. We could watch sunsets from our balcony and it was an easy walk to the barbecues on the grass area of the lower levels or to the pool(s). We've also stayed in the lower 1br units and they're equally perfect. Donna will help you figure out what you need and get it all booked for you. We rented snorkel gear for the week at the shop in the parking lot next door, which makes it so easy for returns when you're done. Their prices seem comparable to the other chains on the island and they were really helpful in picking out the best size fins for my in-between feet. I highly recommend getting a float belt so you can just float without even thinking about it while snorkeling. We went out in the bay at least three times a day to swim with turtles, fish, octopus, eels...just amazing. Be sure to use the defog that the shop gives you with your rental! We stock up on groceries at costco and the market and then cook almost all our meals in the condo. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil we would've wanted (except maybe a digital meat thermometer for the time we grilled steaks!) If you do like to eat out, Napili Point is located close to lots of great spots... The beds in our unit were really comfortable, the towels nice and fluffy, the furniture is tasteful and clean and the unit was well-updated. All in all, another perfect stay. Yelpers want to know. I ve been able to use the restaurant or my kitchen for all meals. We can walk and use two great beaches daily. I haven't moved the car. Today we may go Shop. Decide later. ..... The fitness studio has free weights , a universal machine, a peloton and walking and a striding machine. I ve been able to go daily and the average is 1-3 people. Right now , i am on the Lanai, and i see two distance swimmers crossing the bay in front of us, side by side. Same Stroke. You can only get this lifestyle right here. All i hear is surf and birds.

Very clean, handy amenities, great view, plenty of space, convenient location. The beds were comfortable and the patio doors that opened the length of the living room were so perfect in the mornings. The resort property was immaculate. Beautiful landscaping and the pools and hot tubs were great. It was hard to find a chair if you went in the afternoon but not a deal breaker. The property was steps from a beautiful golden sand beach with the most amazing snorkeling. Walk south a few yards for easier entrance to the water and prepare to be wowed! So much coral teeming with fish. On our last morning there we also saw 3 eagle rays, several turtles, an octopus and a couple eel. Just magical! Maui Resort Rentals had great communication prior to and throughout our stay. Most answers to questions were just a click away. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. What an amazing place for a family vacation!

This resort is not closed, we stayed in Unit 112 from January 3-8, 2024…read more I did post a helpful review on the VRBO Website but it does not allow photos so I'm following up with Yelp. This is an extremely dated unit that is located at the side of resort and unlike the beach facing units has no view of ocean unless you crane your neck around the plywood wall on the lanai and there is an unpleasant aroma that wafts in the room through the louvered windows. There is no pool or grassy area to sit and relax. The coin operated laundry is located in an outdoor building next to some gas grills. The owner has most all available space (drawers, closet, kitchen cabinets, underneath bed, lanai) jammed with personal items leaving little room for guests. This is a very small unit and unsure how more than 2 people could accommodate (her VRBO reviews stats a family of 4 stayed there??) Our first morning we awoke to cockroaches in kitchen and a non operating coffee maker. Coffee maker was replaced on day two. The refrigerator did not seem to cool properly and ice would melt in the freezer each day. The dishwasher has a broken lower rack that falls when trying to load dishes. On day 4 the kitchen sink started leaking and once again I contacted owner. She told us to discontinue using sink and dishwasher and to do dishes in bathroom. Later that day she called my cell phone and told us to return to room to let a lady in that was going to work on drain (apparently you must always keep room key in an outdoor lock box so anyone with code can enter. And no, there is not a room safe for valuables) The garbage can from under sink was now placed in the already narrow kitchen walkway. We were unable to prepare meals for 2 1/2 days and when I asked for compensation from Linda (owner) she completely ignored me. Her retaliatory response was to give me a bad guest review on VRBO which is laughable as we swept and cleaned each day to try to keep cockroach infestation under control. As mentioned, the front facing units are lovely, some are very nicely updated. The beach itself is centrally located and perfect for relaxing.

Our property had a great ocean view and ocean sounds with the doors open. Large full kitchen and spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Property was super clean and updated. Couldn't be happier, with the venue and top tier customer service and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The villa comes fully equipped with everything you may need to make it a home away from home. We stayed in 26T8, the villa was super clean and I loved that it was next to pool D. There are no words to explain the sun rises and the sunsets that you can see from the patio. It is walking distance from Kapalua Bay beach and great restaurants. I do recommend, as soon as you get your rental, go to Costco ( it's next to the airport) for water, beer, and snacks to take back to the villa. Lahaina is in West Maui and the nearest grocery store is about 30 min away.

Biggest annoyance tho, was that our unit hadn't been properly cleaned. Some personal items left behind from a former occupant, and most of the dishes and glassware had to be washed before they were suitable for use. While there are plenty of fans, there's no air conditioning, which is a huge miss for a tourist resort catering to folks not necessarily used to this heat. Unlikely to return here. Lots of choices nearby, will go somewhere else next time.
