Margarita Surprise Upcharge! My party of four visited Kulturas Latin Kitchen & Cantina on a Saturday night. We were seated fairly quickly, which was a great start and appreciated given how busy the restaurant was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The first thing we noticed was how incredibly loud the music was. It wasn't just energetic background music, it was so loud that everyone at our table had to lean in and practically shout just to have a conversation. It made it difficult to enjoy the meal and each other's company. We ordered drinks and food and were especially excited to try the Margarita Flights. The menu clearly lists the Margarita Flight at $20. When ordering, our server asked whether we wanted them "on the rocks" or "slushies." We ordered one flight on the rocks and three slushie flights. The drinks came out inconsistently. Two flights arrived first, while the remaining two didn't arrive until much later, leaving part of our group waiting. The food was actually good and is honestly the only reason this review isn't even lower. The biggest issue came when we received the bill. We noticed the Margarita Flights that were served as slushies were charged $27.99 each, while the flight served on the rocks was charged the advertised $20 price. We asked our server about the discrepancy, and he brought over the manager, Rosa. We explained that nowhere on the menu does it state that choosing the "soft serve" or slushie version of the Margarita Flight results in a significantly higher price. The menu simply lists the Margarita Flight as $20. If there is an upcharge, it should be clearly disclosed before ordering or printed on the menu. Rosa explained that the soft-serve version costs more, but our concern wasn't whether it costs more, it was that the menu never communicates that price difference. Customers should not discover a nearly $8 upcharge per flight only after receiving the bill. That's misleading and creates an unpleasant surprise at the end of the meal. To make matters worse, the restaurant also adds a 3% credit card service fee, which is posted as a way to avoid raising menu prices. Between the undisclosed Margarita Flight upcharge and the additional card fee, the final bill felt much higher than what was represented on the menu. The food was enjoyable, but transparency matters. If menu prices vary based on preparation style, those prices should be clearly disclosed upfront so customers can make informed decisions. Unfortunately, the lack of pricing transparency and the dismissive handling of the concern left a bad impression. I wouldn't return unless pricing is made much clearer and customers are informed of additional charges before ordering

Quick date at Kulturas just to try the soft serve margaritas. Omg... AMAZING! We both got the margarita flight and agreed that the best flavor is the pomegranate. We didn't care much for the yellow one, not too sure what the flavor was. We also got dessert, the churro ice cream sandwich. It was ok, the star of the night was definitely that pomegranate margarita lol. If you're in the area, you should stop by and give them a try. The staff is friendly, food looks good and overall great atmosphere.

I came here Saturday night with my best friend and husband to celebrate my bestie's birthday! We knew coming on a Saturday would be risky as it could pose a long wait. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be an hour and a half, but we sucked it up since we didn't have a reservation. Luckily, we only waited about 45 minutes! We're thinking a lot of people that put their name down didn't and up waiting so we got pushed up the list! However, when we were seated, our service wasn't the best :( don't get me wrong, our server was nice but she didn't check up on us or any of the orders she placed. She got my best friend's drink wrong even after correcting her. She ordered a Malibu & coke and our server repeated back "Mexican coke" and we immediately corrected her. However, after about 15 minutes of waiting, only my best friend's drink arrived and they brought her a Coca Cola bottle lol. My drink was completely forgotten about and we had to remind our server. I didn't want to continue reminding our server as it was quite busy and I had assumed maybe things were just taking much longer than anticipated. However, our entrees came out before our appetizer! We ordered the nachos and they never came up. I was pretty bummed out because I ordered the ceviche as my entree to balance out the heaviness from the nachos but they never came :( After all of that, I didn't really want to order anymore drinks because of how long mine took and how my best friend's drink got messed up . But I really wanted to try the soft serve flight. Sad. However, I will say the ambiance is nice. There's a party-like vibe and we had live performers our night singing Latin music. I definitely want to try this spot one more time maybe on a weekday to see if it maybe it was just a bad day for us, but I'm hoping we get a better experience!

Upon entering I noticed this place was busy that night, however my party was able to be seated quickly for the reservation that we had made. Service 1/5 I understand that it might've been slammed that night; but my party had been sitting at our table for over 1.5h, fixed a whole car, and witnessed the fire department/PD clean up a car accident at the intersection, and still had not received our food. There was no refilling of chips as we waited and minimal checking in and communication. Food 1/5 After waiting being at the restaurant for almost 2 hours with no food, our food came cold. I ordered 2 tacos, both of which were very disappointing. The tortillas tasted like they were grocery store bought as they were dry and lacked flavor. The meat was also super bland and cold. Drinks 3/5 Ordered soft serve margaritas . The consistency was super smooth and felt like ice cream which is nice, but you can expect minimal alcohol taste or feel. The strawberry flavor tasted slightly medicinal. They said the mango was going to take a 20 minute wait. Had we known we were going to be there for 2 hours we would've also ordered it. Parking: Free small lot in the back, street parking on the side. Overall the hype of the soft serve margaritas is not enough for me to come back.

Oh darn.... I didn't think I would have to write this kind of review but this is one of a kind. Came here at 8 PM and didn't get served till 10 PM. I saw a whole car crash happen in front of me from beginning till end (the whole scene was completed and cleaned up) and also had to call triple A to come and fix my friends tire since it was flat. All of that happened AND the food still hadn't come yet. We were sitting here for over and half for like 2 tacos and 1 enchilada. When the food finally came though... I took a bite of the Enchilada and it was literally cold. The shrimp was cold. I just couldn't be here anymore to continue eating. At first, this place was really cool and I liked the soft serve margaritas and I was like dang this place is super cool vibes. The food and waiting time was what killed me. Don't get me wrong, I think the food CAN be really good, but the fact I ate a piece of cold shrimp, it ruined my mood completely. Idk if I should recommend this place or not, but be aware of the waiting time.

Cristina and the whole personnel are super kind and attentive. The drink selection is good too if you like margaritas. I recommend the margarita slushies

Stopped by Kulturas in Pasadena for a solo lunch and really enjoyed it. Service was good and everything felt easy and welcoming. I had the enchiladas and a drink and both were solid. The food is super vibrant... honestly some of the best presentation I've seen. Flavor-wise, not the best enchiladas I've ever had, but still good and worth trying. They've got plenty of seating with both patios, which makes it a nice spot to just sit and relax for a bit. Overall, good experience. I'd go back.

This place was so yummy. Decided to go for Mother's Day without a reservation and although they did tell me that there would be a wait, it was not long at all. While we waited they had a whole setup with infused water. Once we were seated our server was friendly and service was fast. From the alcohol margaritas to their guacamole and tacos, delicious! Would definitely come back. Even my kids enjoyed the food. Best part was that they handed every mother roses. Thank you to all the wonderful servers and cooks!

This was my first time trying this restaurant. Inside, you have nice vacation vibes. They had a band playing that sounded great. Service was good. The manager and our waitress were very attentive. I tried the Asian wings and a crane asada taco both of which were very good and made fresh to order. Everything was hot and tasty. Parking can be a little difficult due to the small parking lot. They have a nice cute small bar and many different margaritas. I had the Jamaica margarita ice cream drink, and it was beyond delicious. Next time I am going to try the margarita flight. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to hang out with friends and family.

Food and drinks were 10/10!!!! My best friend and I drove all the way from SJ to try these soft serve margaritas (we kept seeing them on our FYP). We came around 4/5pm and were seated right away. Staff came to check on us regularly and food came out fast. We enjoyed the chicken enchiladas verde and ceviche. Everything tasted so fresh and the soft serve margaritas were so delicious. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. I will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in LA again.

I always past by this restaurant and say "I want to eat there". Well, that day finally arrived and we came and ate here. I had no idea where the entrance of the restaurant was, so we entered through their front patio. The entire place is vibrant and the music they were playing over their sound system was lively! We were greeted right away and the server, Giovanni, gave his recommendations because it was our first time there. They have mocktails that were delicious! Brunch starts at 10am! Great menu choices, made it really tough to choose. My husband got their chicharon tacos that he said was amazing pork belly that was seasoned very well! I got their breakfast burger and it came with crispy fries. The food was plentiful and the plating was just as vibrant as their restaurant. They have taco Tuesday for $2 tacos! We will be back one of these Tuesdays to try it! I also saw that they have a coffee flight, so if you're a coffee lover, you should try that!

The day I went which was my first time there the cooked had called off so we were told the wait was longer than usual. My sister and I stuck it out and ordered drinks while we waited. We had the slush margarita flight. So good!!! And a Bloody Mary. Besides it being hella spicy it was refreshing. The food was eh. I had the tacos dorado tinga and shrimp. The shrimp was pointless because it barely had any in there but the tinga was delicious. I would go back but only for like happy hour or if they have specials because it's kind of over priced for the quality.

However, I came tonight with my sister, and it started off wrong. The valet guy was very unprofessional and disrespectful towards my sister. He let a person in front of her valet park, and then when she came after that person/car, he had told her that the valet was full. However, it was two people/cars behind her that he told them they can park and he will be right with them. He had said that it's because they are related to the owners, but I felt that was quite unreasonable to say mainly when you have people dining out to have a good experience, and spend their money. This put a bad taste in my mouth, but we still decided to stay because we love the food and we haven't been for a while. Luckily, out of all the employees the hostess was the best. Very nice and sat us down rapidly. Unfortunately, for our server, Carolyn I'll give a 2 1/2 star for her. I felt that she kept moving fast and wasn't really passionate about her job. We wanted light sauce and no cheese on one of our entrees and she basically said that it's best to order something else since the chef couldn't do it. She took the plate back, and my sister decide to get devil eggs. They were delicious though, I Just felt she wasn't accommodating at all. Even when we ordered the lava cake and on the menu it didn't mention that it had caramel on it, we don't eat caramel at all and it did not mention on menu, and she simply said all the ingredients are not on the menu all the time. So what made this annoying is that we asked her about and what was on the lava cake and she said it was just a plain lava cake. Hmmm just felt that she was very dry and nonchalant and did not care. Made me feel uncomfortable to tell her about the food. Shouldn't feel that way as a patron. I ordered the lemon herb chicken w/ sautéed spinach and roasted potatoes. It was great and tasted delicious!! Happy of my choice! For my drink I had Prosecco and a lemon drop, that was very tasty. Will try that again the bartender was on point. The ambiance was perfect they have a nice seating outside with tv, and nice indoor seating. The bar has a tv and a good hang out spot. They have brunch on the weekends that looks delicious so I would want to try again, but after today I'm not sure because of the service from valet and our server. I really love Foothill!! Good food and atmosphere, but tonight was not it!!! Valet is $5.00 and they do cash or zelle only. -Dr. Marshay Dede

The space is small, so you'll inevitably have your conversation interrupted by an alluring siren's call or some ceremonial rowers. This is a crucial part of the tiki experience for me. Had a dinner reservation with some girlfriends celebrating two of their birthdays. The restaurant itself isn't too big but it does a pack a nice punch. Cute patio out front that takes some of the sidewalks and streets. Plenty of heat lamps which helped with the chilly nights. We got seated at one of the tables on the patios which was nice. Didn't really utilize inside area except for the restroom which it's quite cute in there. The rooms were pretty well decorated and executed. Nice bar area too. Like mentioned, we got seated on the patio and the heat lamps were great. Down to the menus, it's quite limited on dishes. Seemed like there were more shared plates versus the entrees. Drinks, it was fairly decent with their cocktails and wine. Service at the beginning was great. The staff were amazing and very friendly. We didn't order right away as we were still waiting for the last one to show. But did start off with some drinks. It didn't take that long for the first round which was nice. Food wise, the shared plate was a mixture of everything. Some of the olives, which is exactly what it is. The Belgian fries, nice thick cut fries with shredded pecorino cheese and a nice aioli sauce. We ended up getting a second order of it. The albacore tuna crudo was a hit which was really tasty. Chili ginger relish, mint and shallot, can't go wrong with that. Lastly the meatballs, tasty and very great for sharing. Entrees, the pan seared sea bass which I loved. Portion is pretty tiny which also seemed like they were a shared plate. Almost tapas styled. Nice chimichurri sauce and a side salad. The chicken Milanese also with a side salad of arugula. Simple dish but quite tasty. One of the salads that was somewhat hyped up by the waitress but it was just a salad. Decent but nothing major to rave about...lol... also the confit oyster mushrooms was major hit. Something that simple but quite tasty. And lastly the pan con tomate, rustic sourdough with tomatoes and burrata. Tasty as well. Overall the meal was good. From there, the second round of drinks did take a long time to arrive and with then plates that we shared, trying to get someone to clear the plates was another thing. Took a long for someone to clear the table before more items came. Even when the entrees came, all the empty starter plates were still there. And if someone did clear the plates, some was still left on the table. Finishing off the night, we did have the dessert which we tried all three. As it was two of our girlfriends birthday, they brought out a little bubbly for us to celebrate with the dessert. That was quite sweet and nice. Honestly opinion with the dessert, they were just ok. Nothing major to rave about. We tried all three on the menu and they were just ok. Overall, the food was great. Service was nice and the staffs were all very friendly. It did take a while for plates to get cleared from the table and second round did take a while, but it was manageable. It was a sweet gesture with the bubbly with the dessert which was greatly appreciated. The place is nice and great for catching up. Menu is limited and portions are quite small. You would have to get a good amount for sharing. Entrees, depending on what you order is small as well. But we enjoyed ourself.
