It's been quite a while since I have hit Pinocchio's so when I was looking for a good Happy Hour spot and saw that their's hadn't changed much in the last decade or so that made up my mind. Nothing like a good pie and ice cold Barley Pop on a solo afternoon out. It was 3:30 and the place was empty. I was greeted by Fabi at the bar. He was quick to get me a set-up, menu(s) and water. Looking over the Happy Hour menu I noticed that the beer price that they advertised on their website was different than what's on the menu. I asked about this and showed Fabi. He phoned his manager and told me that the website had not been updated, but they would honor that ad......bottle beer only. Cool! I ordered my pie.....Pepperoni and Pineapple, and got a cold Stella. Soon the place was getting busy and Fabi was dealing with phones and a wave of customers. He handled himself very well. Then Gianna got there and she really stepped up (for a brand new employee) to give him a hand and made sure that everything ran smoothly. My Pizza came out and I was more than pleased. Loaded with tasty Pepperoni and sweet Pineapple, it was cooked perfectly well done (like I ordered). Added the gratuitous Parmigiana and Red Chile Flakes and I was in Heaven. For $17, a 10" Pie (2 meals), 2 ice cold Stella's and stellar service is a great Happy Hour deal.

Tried the cutest Italian pizza spot in Pasadena and it did not disappoint. We started with the spinach artichoke dip served with perfectly toasted bread-super creamy, cheesy. We shared a combination pizza loaded with toppings (every bite was packed with flavor) and chicken parmigiana that came with pasta and a fresh side salad. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and smothered in rich marinara and melted cheese. The atmosphere really tied everything together-warm, cozy, and inviting with that classic Italian charm. They offer both street parking and parking in the rear, plus a banquet room available for parties and special events. Definitely a go-to spot for a casual date night or brunch vibe

Grabbed lunch at Pinocchio's Pizza with a friend on Saturday and everything we tried was delicious! Our meal came with garlic bread, and we also ordered the bruschetta to start. It was so flavorful and well balanced, with a fresh herby taste that we really enjoyed. The Caesar salad was fresh and tasty, and the meat lovers pizza was sooo good. My personal favorite was the carbonara. The creamy sauce with the runny egg yolk tasted absolutely heavenly! The portions were really generous, and everything was such a great value. Definitely a spot I'd come back to with friends and family! What we ordered: -Bruschetta -Caesar Salad -Meat Lovers Pizza (12") -Carbonara

Great portion sizes and great value for your money! Favorites were the chicken parmesan and fettuccine alfredo. Caesar was pretty good too. Garlic bread was a little overdone. But overall a great experience with good service.

Pasadena Hidden Gem alert!!!! Seriously underrated Italian spot with stunning design! Their $13 lunch special is a total steal--includes a hearty soup or salad and amazing garlic bread. So buttery!! My favorite is the Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli . High-end vibes without breaking the bank! IG: socalhkfoodies

Met up with my Sister's B for a quick Holiday gift exchange here and sat in the bar area. *We were greeted by Lilah who became friendlier after we sat down. They had half of the restaurant partitioned off for a private party while we were there. We ordered from the Happy Hour menu which had some great options. 10 inch Cheese Pizza 5//5 Brussel Sprouts 4/5 Bruschetta 5/5 It was perfect for sharing with my sisters and everything was good. *Plenty of Street parking

I met up with the lovely Sisters B for a Holiday get together on a Wednesday night. There are two sections to this restaurant - a formal dining area and a bar lounge area. Even though we had reservations we were seated in the lounge area, which was fine since we were able to take advantage of Happy Hour. However, it's beer & wine only and, unfortunately, they were out of Prosecco. Boo! We did order food from the happy hour menu: 10" Cheese Pizza ($7.50) Brussel Sprouts ($6), & Bruschetta ($6). Happy Hour is daily (3 pm - close. Bar only), and there are some great deals. Our server Lilah was pleasant, and our food arrived in a timely manner. The pizza was a thin crust. I prefer a thicker crust, but the cheese was good. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were delish. I really enjoyed them. The Bruschetta was tasty but a bit heavy on the vinegar. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful time together. *Live music every Saturday. *Shared parking lot or street parking.

Cozy pub meets sports bar vibes!

Cute pizza place with cozy pub vibes, decent pizza, and a long happy hour menu 3pm to close with a solid selection. Was a nice spot to meet up with the girls for a holiday catch-up sesh! We ordered some items from the happy hour menu to share - the cheese pizza, the Brussel sprouts, and the bruschetta. The cheese pizza was a good size - more than enough for the four of us to share along with our other items. It was a pretty good pizza - nice flavor overall with just the right amount of cheese and sauce and a nice texture to the crust. I'd definitely order a pizza here again. The brussel sprouts were ample but bland and I was disappointed. Same with the bruschetta- the bread was nice but it was surprisingly bland for a bruschetta. The portions are very generous, especially given that these were off the happy hour menu, but I wouldn't get these again. They have some booth seating available circled around a bar area - the vibe is mostly cozy pub style mixed with a little sports bar feel. They also have a banquet hall separated by a small thin wall - there was a large party going on that was very loud so it was a tad challenging to carry on our convo. But it's the holiday season and it contributed to a festive, lively vibe overall. Service was a tad slow and the servers seemed stressed and maybe overwhelmed- possibly by the large party in the banquet room? Prices were very good - especially for the area. I didn't see any parking lot - there's free street parking in the area but it gets crowded easily. I'd come again to meet up with girls since it's a good location for us - definitely a good spot for holiday parties and other gatherings.

The place is super underrated. I think that the lunch specials are really worth the price. I had a delicious meal. The staff were also friendly and checked up on us multiple times if we needed anything. The spaghetti for the chicken parmigiana was al dente and the sauce was tasty. The chicken had a nice thin breading and the mozzarella on top was really good. Next, I got the hot honey pepperoni pizza. It had ricotta cheese. I love hot honey and it is so perfect with the mini pepperoni cups. There's a good crisp to the pizza and I didn't feel like it was too greasy which a lot of hot honey pizzas are. Lastly, the wings were breaded really nicely. It was super crunch and meaty. It was really good with the ranch.

Truly a local gem! The food is beyond delicious, and it's become my family's go-to spot for a reason. One thing that really sets them apart is their happy hour, available Sunday through Thursday from 3pm until closing. Those kinds of deals are so hard to come by nowadays, and it just adds to the overall amazing experience. The environment is super chill and relaxing, and the staff is always amazing and attentive, making you feel right at home. Every single item on the menu is delicious, and aside from their great happy hour selection, they also offer lunch specials. The pricing is super affordable too, which is a huge plus. There's plenty of street parking, public parking lot across the street and additionally, a small lot in the back for added convenience. If you haven't tried Pinocchio's yet, you're seriously missing out!

I came here and tried three classics--chicken parmesan, ravioli, and pizza--and each dish brought something enjoyable to the table. The chicken parmesan was the standout: tender, well-seasoned chicken with a crisp breading, topped with a rich marinara and just the right amount of melted cheese. It struck a great balance between hearty and comforting without feeling overly heavy. The ravioli offered a nice contrast. The pasta was cooked al dente, with a filling that was flavorful but not overly rich. The accompanying sauce complemented it well, though it could have benefited from a touch more depth to really make the dish memorable. The pizza was classic and satisfying--good chew to the crust, evenly melted cheese, and a well-seasoned sauce. It wasn't the most unique pizza I've had, but it delivered exactly what you hope for in a reliable Italian pie. Overall, the restaurant provided a solid, enjoyable Italian meal. With great and friendly service. The chicken parmesan alone makes it worth a visit, and the rest of the dishes round out a comforting, familiar dining experience. They also had plenty of screens to watch sports. You can come with your family or friends to watch the game. Really enjoy the friendly atmosphere and catching music.

Cozy, old school neighborhood pizza joint + sports bar. When I dined here over the holidays, I also saw several other parties that were somewhat nicely dressed for their holiday parties. There is both parking in the back as well as street parking. What we ordered for the table: 1. Carbonara pasta - creamy and tasty 2. Chicken Alfredo - a classic dish 3. Bbq pizza - while I personally considered the bbq sauce on the sweeter side, this was a solid pizza with a generous amount of chicken Portions are fairly generous - our entire bill came out to just $50. Although we didn't partake in happy hour, I would love to be back to try it - love the fact that hh is every day from 3pm to close.

Coming here for dinner in Pasadena and it is such a great spot to celebrate I love the Ambiance inside which is low light and they have space for big parties and somebody had a 80th birthday and I really love the vibes. . The service was great and they were friendly with recommending some different choices that I was thinking about. . PIZZA . I also went with their artichoke chicken and broccoli Pizza which I really loved and came with white sauce. . I also got their Mexicali Pizza which has street corn on it and it was very Saucy but it was a little bit too much creamy to the pizza. . PASTA . I also got their lobster ravioli with shrimp and a pink sauce and some cheese and that was amazing I love the fresh mushrooms and corn in the sauce with the pasta. . LATE NIGHT HAPPY HOUR . They do have late night happy hour as well daily and they had such good drinks and appetizers but only in the bar area. . PARKING . Parking was quite easy it was around the streets in the neighborhood. . OVERALL . If you're looking for some good pizza and pasta in the Pasadena area this is the one I recommend. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.

It was a great place for some casual, mildly literary drinking on a Thursday night. The bar was in an alley, and I was happy to find free, easy street parking right outside the alley entrance. The alley was well lit enough that it didn't feel sketchy, though if I were inclined to beat someone up, this would probably be a convenient place to do it. The space was slightly below ground, down a flight of stairs from the alley. It felt like an Irish pub/sports bar with a tap list of California beers in addition to Coors Light and Guinness. Service was friendly and reasonably fast. I had a Made West Hazy IPA and a Pizza Port Amber, both of which I've had and enjoyed several times in several places over the years. I also ate some fries that were lying around, probably but not certainly by someone I at least sort of know. They weren't bad. I live kind of far from Pasadena and T. Boyle's isn't a destination bar, but I'd come back for another round or two after Vroman's. It's a comfortable spot with good draft beer, where you can relax and have some conversations.

Although their restaurant is pretty big, the hostess did mention that they only had 3 waiters working so a lot of sections were closed off. We were seated within 10 minutes of waiting. We browsed the happy hour menu and ordered pretty quickly after sitting down. Our food all came out one by one. It was pretty decent for the price. We ordered 3 appetizers and the total came out to be ~$35. Appetizers: Poke Nachos (7.4/10): There's a good amount of tuna fish layered on top of the nachos. I really liked the wonton chips they use for this dish since it's a lot lighter than a regular tortilla chip. There's three different types of sauce that they drizzle on top for the nachos. There's a good amount of sweetness and spice between all the sauces. I just wish there were more fish and avocados. Chicken Tenders and Fries (7/10): This one is just your average chicken tenders with fries. It came with 5 tenders and a small basket of fries. The dipping sauces included ranch and honey mustard. This wasn't the same honey mustard I was used to and it had a sour taste to it. The chicken was crispy and had good seasoning in the batter. The fries weren't that good. It was soggy and didn't have any crisp to it. Chicken Nachos (6/10): This one was a heavy on the stomach dish. There's two different types of salsa, cheese, beans, and then a scoop of guac and sour cream in the middle. They used a tortilla chip instead of wonton chips for this dish. Everything felt like a mouthful.

Service has been friendly, but it is lightly staffed and pretty slow, so it's not a good place if you are in a hurry. They don't keep an eye on the patio, so if you sit out there, it's best to go inside and let them know. She ended up grabbing a lime herself from the garnish tray--which I understand isn't ideal--but the response we got was completely out of line. The male bartender became immediately hostile and started aggressively cursing at my friend. When I calmly asked the female bartender if this was normal behavior, he inserted himself into the conversation and said, "she put her fucking hand in the fucking jar," in a very confrontational tone. I tried to de-escalate the situation and respectfully explained that there was no reason to speak to us that way, but he continued the hostility and ultimately told us to "get the fuck out." At that point, I paid for our drinks and we left. What made this especially disappointing is that this has never been our experience here before. We've always enjoyed this bar and have had positive interactions with the regular staff. If this had been my first visit, I would not come back. I understand that what my friend did wasn't appropriate, but it absolutely did not justify being yelled at and cursed out. I hope management addresses this, because this kind of behavior is not reflective of the bar I've come to know.
