My husband wanted a good burger but because I'm vegan, it needed to be a place with an option for me. After researching, I found Kuma's Corner. They have a vegan option. Convenient location. Zero proof drinks. There were some reviews about long wait times, non-toasted buns and the cost but the write up of the place itself gave me nostalgia vibes for a place called Cobra Burger in Richmond, VA so I had to try my luck. I really wanted to love this place, as I've not found anything like Cobra Burger here in Indy. When we arrived, around 6:45p on a Thursday, the patio had a good amount of people, but inside was pretty empty apart from the bar. We sat at a two top in the bar area. The music was at a pretty low volume, especially considering the amount of reviews that said otherwise. Our server was also bartender, so it initially took her a couple of minutes to come over, which is understandable. She took our order for drinks and then after bringing them back for the food. She was nice and provided good service although juggling tables and the bar, plus she was also pregnant. It took a very long time for us to get our food (close to an hour), despite three guys working the line in the kitchen, banging out burger after burger. The food arrived, hot and correct. Both my husband and I were disappointed that the reviews were right and the burger buns were not toasted. Non-toasted burger buns actually make the burgers harder to eat and less enjoyable. My burger was decent for a non-handmade vegan option; for the price my expectation is amor sophisticated/handmade creative one, but I am thankful that they had a vegan option at all. My husband thought his burger was just okay and that he's had better ones around Indy, so we probably won't be dining here again. For the size of the burger, they should bring you ample napkins without having to ask because it is very messy trying to eat them. For two burgers with fries, one small mac & cheese, and three beers (one regular and two nonalcoholic) before tip the bill was over $80. Now, if the food was top-tier fantastic, I would say fine but being that it was more middle of the road it's a bit pricey.
I came here on a whim and I'm glad I did! Kuma's corner kind of feels like a rock concert venue turned restaurant on the inside, with lots of memorabilia in there. There's a bit of grunge aesthetic too. I opted for the patio seating on the nice day that I visited. Service worked pretty quickly and friendly. I got a mocktail to start that was cranberry, orange, and pineapple juice. It was pretty yummy. I was far more impressed by the foooood! My partner and I split a burger and Mac and cheese. The size small was $9 and was honestly huge. It was definitely enough food for two. The burger we got was also a good size, and came with a lot of shoestring onion on top. The burger was $18 but it's a 10 oz patty which is practically a better deal than most other burgers out there. I'll be back again sometime for sure!
This had been on my places to try list for a while, and I was a little disappointed. The atmosphere was very good and the service made up where the food let me down. My burger wasn't cooked how I asked. But now looking back on it, the music being so loud I bet my waiter couldn't distinguish me saying medium well from medium rare but I can't even blame her. The bun was also very dry and didn't complement the burger very well. It was also just too much. But if you like a hefty burger this is your spot. The fries and fried pickles made it a lot better for me, and fortunately I didn't have a long wait before being seated or served my food
Excellent menu, big portions, filling, cooked well and solid take on its Chicago roots. Outdoor patio in summer is on point.
If you're looking for a good drink and a good(spicy) burger, look no further! Their margaritas are incredible!!! So delicious, made my day brighter. We had the Brujeria burger, it was big, spicy, and so flavorful!!! We also got buffalo chicken tenders and fries, they were pretty good. I expected them to be a bit spicier, even so, they had decent flavor. It's a pretty cool place, I love their artwork, it's a bit loud, but I'd go back and hang out in their patio. Service was very slow, a table was sat down and given water, they waited close to 13 minutes before they decided to leave. It was a bit of a struggle to get our servers attention for more water, a to go box, and the check. I'm not sure if it was due to a lack of employees or if it was slow. Either way, their food is pretty good.
The best spicy margarita in town hands down! I love bringing my kindle or a book to the bar and ordering a burger and/or french fries and a drink or two. The food is always great, and the environment at the bar is welcoming. The music is different from what I typically listen to, but is a nice change of pace and enjoyable. I have a gluten allergy and just do a burger with no bun when I want a burger and fries. The horseradish mayo with fries is incredible, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.
A friend who's local to Indy recommend recommended this spot. He told me about the vibe. I was not found on the atmosphere of Kumas Corner. It has a Gothic theme. They were blasting, heavy metal music, which gives me a headache. So I placed my order for takeout. I had the Y.O.B. burger + The housemaid chips were delicious. The service was good as well.
Came in for dinner on a Saturday about 530 and had an ok experience. (Note- I used to live in Chicago and went to the Chicago location monthly, so I do love their food.) This "biker bar" feel is great for Fountain Square neighborhood. Pros -Selection- They have a great selection of fun burgers, all named after a metal band/song. (Fun theme) - Speed- From time ordered until we had our food, was about 15 minutes, and considering how busy, not bad. - Atmosphere- The atmosphere is great here and fun teeming with music, artwork, and graffiti in bathroom. Flavor- Food has great flavor and for $20, plenty of food! Cons - Food- While quick, Burger was a bit overcooked and fries were underdone (a bit soggy?), and buns was a bit tough and stale. (They could also use coleslaw(?) as a side, as it would go perfect with many of their sandwiches.) - Service- While quick, our waiter was just eh. Definitely a must-try for burger-lovers, rock music fans, or someone wanting something new!
I've been meaning to go to Kuma's Corner ever since I moved to Indy back in 2021 and today was finally the day. I had heard here that they gave smaller portions during lunch so I went during lunch-- not sure if I was supposed to ask for the lunch menu but ended up just getting the (at least what I think was) normal sized burger. I got the Plaguebringer which was quite good. Fries were excellent too. Server friendly. Overall good experience, loved the atmosphere and the rock music. Would certainly go again if I was in Fountain Square & hankering for a burger.
Love me some Kuma's. Went years ago to the Chicago locations. First time here in Indy. Food is fresh & delicious as always. Their house made sauces are second to none. The service is always on point. Staff are super nice. The atmosphere is the best: Heavy Metal!
Kuma's Corner has been on my list of places to try for the last couple of years. I heard you always have to wait which is why I hadn't been. I did notice that they allow you to get in line now so that's what I did, which actually worked out perfectly. When I arrived we were able to be seated right away. I really hadn't done much research so didn't know what to expect other than they have good burgers. What I didn't know is it is very heavy metal themed. Everyone is very tattooed and wearing kind of goth clothing and they were playing hard rock music which isn't really my thing but I think the people who were there probably knew it and it's their thing. The burgers appear to be named after Heavy Metal "things", not quite sure what but I'm guessing, maybe like Heavy Metal groups or something. So to the food, they have a variety of burgers (again themed) but they offer different toppings not just your usual burgers which is nice. The fries are amazing as well. It is located in Fountain Square, so parking can be a challenge. We took an uber so didn't worry about it but if you didn't just beware of that.
If you're heading to Kuma's Corner, be prepared for loud rock and metal music, it's part of the full experience! I ordered the famous Kuma burger with fries and added a side of mac & cheese. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The burger lived up to the hype, but the real standout for me was the mac & cheese, so good that it's now a must order every time I go! Service was great too, friendly, quick, and attentive. Definitely a spot to check out if you love bold flavors and a lively atmosphere!

A delicious burger spot with plenty of unique burger concoctions! They also offer grilled chicken, fried chicken, or veggie patty substitutes for all of their burger options. The fries are house made and simply incredible and come with a house made ketchup. Plenty of local beers on tap and seating inside and outside! Don't let the grungy decor and heavy metal music deter you, the food is all great and the staff is very friendly!! read more
Galentine's Day was metal. My friends and I enjoyed our delicious burgers and the rocker vibe at this Fountain Square gem I had the Iron Maiden and it was tasty. The avocado was fresh and the chipotle mayo blended well with the cherry peppers!! The Heartwork was packed with flavor. Again, the produce was fresh as my friends enjoyed the tomato with the taco tortilla crumble. They enjoyed the vegan patty and filled them up. The burger of the month was WILD, but embraced the hearty southern vibe. The wasabi peas and the carrots complimented the burger well. The Black Sabbath had a wonderful chili bean spread on top of the burger. The burger was blackened and had a nice bite. Why a point off? - Unnecessary amount of fries. Tasty, but wasteful. Kuma's food absolutely blew me away. So creative! Everyone at my table was raving about our meals. Even the ketchup that comes with your fries is elevated over a typical burger experience. Burgers can be pretty pricy like $18, but the amount and quality of food is worth it to me. Kuma's has a parking lot across the street, and street parking is free throughout Fountain Square. I sat on the patio and had fantastic service from Dana. I was happy to sit outside since I've heard from past patrons that the inside can be noisy although that is part of the appeal for some Kuma's fans. Kuma's also opened their large windows to the indoor space since it was nice weather. I will definitely be back! read more
Today was girls day and we went to Kumas Corner for lunch. The cheese curds were so good! Such a light breading on them. Not greasy at all. My daughter had a house salad with grilled chicken on top. It was so big. I had a cheeseburger slider and fries. Pierce asked if I wanted any pink. I said not at all. It was perfectly cooked! They have mayo with garlic. So good for dipping fries. Our waiter, Pierce, was on it! Very attentive. We were even greeted by the Manager, Kat. She was on it as well! Had Death Water.... So good! We will be back! read more
If you are looking for the best Burgers in Indy then you have to go to Kuma's Corner. It was so hard to narrow down what I wanted because everything sounds amazing. This is a heavy metal themed restaurant and it is reflected with the artwork, menu, and music. If heavy metal is not you thing I would still encourage you to go for the amazing food. They do have outdoor seating as well for you to enjoy the atmosphere of Fountain Square while you enjoy your meal. The staff were all super friendly as well. This was my second time and I will definitely be back. read more

More places need to only play metal music! This place is SO fun, the interior is full of awesome music visuals, graffiti, punk underground concert flyers, and my favorite - a large oil painting of a woman riding a bear. The food is amazing, and I appreciate they have beyond vegetarian burger patty's, I can order anything on the menu now because of that! read more

We've been talking about going here since it came to Indy but living on the Northside makes it a trek. We finally took the time last weekend to check it out. When we got there we were sad to see a lot of people waiting. We still went up to the host and were pleased to find out they had immediate seating for couples, the wait was just for larger groups. Our server was really great. Good timing, personable. Since we'd never been we decided to try a couple things and take home leftovers. I tried the Slayer and got some Mac and cheese with prosciutto and peas. Both had great flavor, I took home well over half and was able to feed myself lunch and dinner the next day. Husband got the Mastadon and Mac and cheese with bacon and more bacon. He loved his as well. I also tried their Bloody Mary, great flavor and spice. Before we went I was a little nervous about the atmosphere because I heard they played loud death metal which is not my thing. They were playing songs exclusively by Dethklok, the burger of the month was based on Metalocalypse. We love that show so I actually enjoyed it, and I think I would still like the atmosphere if they played any other metal. We're looking forward to going back! read more

Hope you like amazing hamburgers and heavy metal music! This was my first time at Kuma's. The food and service was amazing. We were taken care of from the moment we walked in. We went online and got on the wait list before we came, so we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. Our server was great. He had suggestions and was very informed on the menu. We started the meal with two apps. The fried pickles and cheese curds. They were probably some of the best cheese curds I've had. The Led Zeppelin burger was cooked perfect. The flame grill and their seasoning was awesome. If you want a huge burger, Kuma's is the place to go. For me the food was enough to counter for the loud metal music. If you aren't prepared for it, it could be a bit off putting. It was a great time and our friends from out of town loved it! Hope to be back next time we are in Fountain Square read more
I happened to be in fountain square at lunch time on Sunday and saw Kumas. This is a place I had heard of on many sites as having really good burgers. I ealked in and we were immediately seated at a small table. The restaurant isnt very large so I was glad I decided by sheer luck to eat here on Sunday as it was very busy so at times when you would expect it to be busy I am sure it may be a wait to get in. The decor is bar with a large dose of heavy metal. I love hard rock and thought it was both cool and unique to aee this as a theme. The last and only other place I have ever seen with that theme was the bar at Three Floyds in Muenster. There is a nice dose of nonstop hard rock and a complete wallpapering of the bathroom with concert bills. Service was great and we had a review off the extensive beer menu. I like a place that specializes in lots of choices. I wanted the local Centerpoint El Gato but unfortunately they were out. They did have a good Three Floyds on tap but i felt it would be too heavy so I went with the waitresses recommendation if another local beer from Westfield Our lightest beer. It was a good german beer. Note you can find the current beer tap list on Untapped app. Now for the burgers, I didn't think twice about getting a burger as I had head so many good things about them. I chose the Iron Maiden burger. There was no mark of the beast in this huge 10 oz delicious sandwich. I wisely chose the chips as those aren't as filling as fries. The chips were pretty good. The burger tasted fresh and was adequately juicy. I ordered it medium well and didn't see any pink. It was hard to even get this into my mouth it was so big that i ate it at an angle. The toppings were each a great addition. I love avocados and these added a nice richness to the burger which was not greasy at all. The onion had a great taste and no bitterness. The peppers aded enough heat. I didn't notice the cheese in the burger as it was so large. The pretzel bun seemed cold though not heated and part broke while eating the sandwich. I was slightly disappointed in the bun but otherwise a top tier burger. Thoughts overall cool place, super expensive for Indy but probably not Chicagoland area. Service great food excellent. Many have asked if you can bring kids here well the music is loud metal but if you go I think Sunday afternoon would be the best time. I saw several families eating and it looked like they had incredible mac and cheese. read more

Kuma's has been on my list for a long time, but since I'm rarely in the area, I never had a chance to check it out. That is until last week, when a friend invited me to join them for dinner. I was so excited to finally make it there, and I was drooling all day looking at their menu. I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint! They've got a great drink selection, and I started off with a bottle of Ciderboys Strawberry Magic. I went for the Plague Bringer with house-made chips and loved it. The patty was cooked perfectly and super juicy, and the toppings complemented each other nicely. Be warned though, you will get messy. The burgers are huge (picture doesn't do it justice) and the toppings are generous; you could definitely get two meals out of one burger. The only downside was that I spent too much time having fun at the bar to take the rest of my burger home! I'll definitely be back next time I find myself in Fountain Square. read more
Been to Kuma's many times and their burgers are fantastic! To be honest I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them. On top of that their jalapeño poppers are a must get every time you come in, no questions asked. The ambience is nice, but it can certainty be off putting to some and to them I say just get takeout and your problem is solved. The only negative I really have is that you get charged extra for sauces and that personally always annoys me, but other than that you can't go wrong stopping in here! Great service all around waitresses were both very attentive. To begin with I heard Kuma's has the best burgers in Indianapolis so I had to give it a try. I'm really picky so I build my own burger with a side of Mac & Cheese. I definitely did not expect the burger to be huge I barely finished it. Burger was good but not great,though the Mac & Cheese was delicious Moreover I recommend and trying this place out. read more
Been wanting to try Kuma's for some time now, especially after seeing what seemed like epic burgers as well as hearing a lot of other burger aficionados post endlessly whenever the subject of "Best Burger" comes up online. As noted (and I'm sure it's their "brand") the music is really loud, however, I expected that after hearing and reading about it in other reviews online as well as hearing about that from friends who have eaten there. We sat outside and that was 100% better as we were able to talk with no problem. We ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer and they were good, they give you a very generous portion. My friend and I had two beers each and I ordered the "Skid Row" burger: "Applewood Smoked Bacon, Bleu Cheese Crumbles & Mushrooms" I love mushrooms, so imagine the horror when the burger came out with canned mushrooms on it! Wow! The last time I saw canned mushrooms on something in a restaurant was when I ordered a pizza in a third-world country (expected.) The pleasant side was that there was a ton of blue cheese on it. We were asked how we wanted the burger cooked: ie. "Pink or no pink" I take that as medium or well, so I said pink, alas the burger had no pink. I still ate it, and it was not bad, I'm just being a bit hyper-critical per se. I got a side of mac and cheese which was a ridiculous portion, again it was okay. My friend ordered chips however they served them with fries because they were out of chips, *sorry*. My half of the bill with gratuity was $47.00 We both agreed the food was okay but nothing we would be missing anytime soon. read more
We went to Kuma's Corner on a warm, busy Friday night. A little bit of a wait, but there is enough in Fountain Square to kill the time. They had outdoor seating and big open windows. The place has great metal/rock music vibes. Good beer selection and they also have cocktails and canned wines. We split the Goatsnake burger with fries which was recommended by our fabulous server, Shawna. The burger was huge, but delicious. Would love to go back and try more of their burgers. read more

Not only are the burgers Instagram worthy, they're also really tasty. They definitely don't skimp on portions or flavor. And the service is always on point too. I know the heavy metal music is kinda part of the vibe, but it's a little loud for me. No big deal though because I try to get seated out on their patio, which is not only less loud but also great for people watching. read more

I've been to Kuma's a handful of times. It's great, but I just don't think I'm the target clientele. The metal music is loud -- I'm not a metal fan and I like to chat with my table mates (which is hard to do inside due to the loud music; outside is fine). The burgers are huge and charbroiled (if I eat red meat, I prefer slimmer, non-Smokey burgers; they do allow you to swap beef for other proteins, but when I actually go to a burger place, I get beef). I realize my feedback is all due to my personal preference; my husband is fine with the music and loves the charbroiled beef. While those aren't my preference, I will definitely return to Kuma's solely on the reason of service. The service here is incomparable to most places in Indy. Multiple servers checked in on us and took drinks orders. This alone will keep us coming back again and again! read more
Came to Kuma's for lunch and left super full and happy. Huge portions, great service, and delicious burgers. Not a burger fan? You can get chicken instead. Kuma's is family friendly and parking was easy. I would suggest coming for lunch as it is very popular and fills up fast. read more

A great combination of rock and burgers! Their burger of the month is a vegan burger (with an edible flower) and as a vegetarian that was super exciting! They also have the option to substitute a vegan patty for any burger! Great selection of beer, and I've heard great things about their cocktails. Their mac n cheese is also great! It definitely is on the pricy side, and we got some surprise up charges, but still recommend. Very nice service, just be prepared to wait as it is a slower service place. read more
A heavy metal burger bar, what more could one need? Kuma's Corner is in fountain square across the street from revolution. It's quite the place, I really like it I've been a few times and have never had a bad experience the burgers are hearty and always have something creative put on them, and are named after a heavy metal band. They also have monthly burger specials as well. This time around I decided to go because they were carrying a beer from central state, called polyjuice potion and I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and I couldn't resist going to try it. I can check that beer off my list, which I'm happy I did! It's a refreshing sour. You shouldn't drink on an empty stomach in the name of responsible adult decisions so i also had the bbq chicken fries and they were so delicious with savory bbq chicken, onions and cheese. Great burger place! The meat is FRESH! And trust me you will know this with the first bite! We later commented how fresh their burgers tasted and were told they get their meat local within 72 hours of processing. Now that's farm to table. They have many burger creations to choose from but honestly I think just a standard American style would stand in its own. The fried pickles...best evahhhh!!! Fresh cut fries were good too. Spicy margarita hit the spot. read more

Fried pickles 4.5/5 such a good double crunch to these pickles and the breading has a good seasoning to it. Goat Burger 4.8/5 this one was amazing. The flavors worked so well together and the patty was thiccc and juicy. I loved the goat cheese and Cholula lemon vinaigrette flavor combo. My only beef (get it?) was that the bun was cold. Not sure if that's intentional but it made me a little sad. Fries 4/5 the showstopper was the spicy ketchup served with the fries. I prefer my fries on the crispier side but these were not bad. Iron Maiden 4/5 This juicy burger is pretty classic with a little bite from the jalapeño. The patty is also perfect on this one, and the bun was also cold. Drinks 5/5 Ordered a cream soda and it was very delicious and magical as cream soda is. The milk stout on tap was creamy and sweet too. They have a huge selection of beers, will definitely be back to explore more drinks. read more

For my last day living in Fountain Square, where else could we go than the recently reborn Kuma's Corner?? This is my personal favorite food destination in all of Indianapolis. Coming here, you should expect 3 things: a heavy metal loud atmosphere, huge portions, and the most friendly and helpful staff you'll find in the whole city. This time was no different: they played amazing classics like Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Avenged sevenfold at max volume, the staff was friendly and talkative, making you feel at home in a possibly foreign environment, and the portions of delicious food were large and delicious. We started with the jalapeño poppers, which we should've realized would've taken real estate in our main course appetites, but we couldn't help it!! They were spicy, creamy, and the raspberry jam sauce that came with it perfectly balanced the flavors of the poppers alone. Usually, poppers come with cheese, but these coming with a berry sauce and being larger portions truly blew out any expectation I previously had with Jalapeño poppers! My wife got the goat snake burger, which had goat cheese, fried onions, a corn salsa, cilantro, and a poblano chili relish. This burger is masterfully crafted, hitting the sweet, bitter, spicy, and savory flavor nodes in a way that makes you savor every bite you take. It is not only refreshing, but also salty and filling with the dairy and fried aspects of the burger. My personal favorite, but I had to try the burger of the month!! If you love cheese and pizza flavors, this burger is for you! It came with 2 slices of provolone, Cheeto crusted mozzarella sticks, pizza sauce, and a sort of Chimichurri sauce, along with the normal burger toppings. Obviously with the dairy and heavy meat combo, this burger will fill you up QUICKLY. But, this sandwich will undoubtedly serve to satisfy anyone looking for a burger both robust in flavor, and substance. Overall, Kuma's never fails to satisfy, and will always be a place a recommend to anyone looking to fill up on the best food Indy has to offer!! read more
Kuma's is always a delight and I am so happy to see them open after closing for COVID and enduring a tragic kitchen fire. Be prepared to listen to some hard rock music when dining inside or enjoying the patio- they like to blare it at this place (which I find quite fun) I am a huge advocate for trying new things- but I can't seem to stray away from the Goatsnake burger because it's just that damn good. Portions are massive and I definitely think it's reasonable to either come STARVING or to split a meal if you're not :) A fountain square must-try! read more

Been wanting to go for quite awhile and found ourselves on that side of town. Slid in right after it opened. Wife got the Kuma burger and I got the Mastadon. Both burgers were absolutely delicious. My son chowed down on the fries and the chips. Plenty of good beer on tap as well. My one knock was are fries was way over cooked and not very good. We looked around at other tables and they had these perfect fries but ours were dark brown and hard. It happens and fries aren't the reason we went. Like I said delicious burgers and good atmosphere. read more

A friend and I recently visited Kuma's Corner, a burger joint in Fountain Square with a heavy metal aura. From the moment we entered the establishment, we were impressed by the abstract artwork, heavy metal music, and creative menu that made the dining experience extremely memorable compared to competitors. The restaurant is based in Chicago but has since expanded to other cities including Denver and Indianapolis. Kuma's is relatively close to the center of Fountain Square and holds a customer parking lot across the street from its main entrance. This offers visitors convenience in an area with limited parking options. However, I was previously unable to dine at Kuma's due to a long wait so arrive early on weekends to secure a table. Kuma's menu is packed full of creative burgers and a wide selection of craft beer. For example, burgers such as the "Black Sabbath" or the "Led Zeppelin" pay homage to the restaurant's ambiance. I settled upon the "Slayer," a bunless burger with chili, sausage, vegetables, fries, and cheese. This selection was both delicious and unique. Prices are in the midrange tier with the average burger running about $18. While not for everyone, Kuma's provides an original dining experience that is truly outside the box. Really delicious burger and chips! The beer they have is unique and a big variety. I loved how the services was honestly and helpful. I did find it hard to eat; the burger was as big as my face and very sticky from the maple syrup. Loved that there was a whole area for parking, makes going downtown less if a headache. Also at no fault to the restaurant there was condensation from the av vents dripping on to my head. Made the visit memorable as it was easy to laugh at what was happening. read more
Walking into this place you will hear loud metal music and see a metalheads vibe with the red lighting behind the bar and amazing art on the walls. They have a long list of beers to try mostly in cans but they do have some on tap. The food menu is eclectic with the signature burgers. I ordered the Led Zeppelin which included a flame grilled burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, pulled pork and pickles. Ordered it with fried that are hand cut and crispy. Overall the food was delicious and very filling, you might not be able to eat it all. My boyfriend ordered the famous Kuma, which includes bacon, cheddar, a fried egg, lettuce, tomato and onion. Talk about gourmet burger. This place has it. Started with mac and cheese added with bacon and jalopeño. It was flavorful and filling. I had the metallica burger and just added a sunny side up and my mouth had to open really wide for it to really not spill the contents. Bleu cheese, the egg, the buffalo sauce, just hit it right for me in combo. Wifey had the heartwork burger (vegan patty). This was a good one as the flavor was enjoyable, couldn't really tell if no real meat was used. Parking was hard to find here but we later found out that they have a huge parking lot across the street. But we couldn't see any signs as there was no lights. If you haven't been to Kuma's, you're missing out! It's one of the cities best burger/Mac and cheese joints located in the Fountain Square district south of downtown Indy. The theme is Metal and even if you aren't a metal fan you'll die for their service and food. Personally I love heavy rock and metal so it's fun to see the metal decor and hear the great tunes. Once you walk in you are met with smiles and great service. All of the burgers have metal band names and tonight I ordered the YOB. They have a full bar with an extensive draft list which I always take advantage of. They have dine-in, outdoor seating, and take out options available. There social media and website are easy to access and show the full menu. The food was served fast, hot, and delicious, as always. The pricing is a little higher than most burger shops but the quality makes it worth it. read more

What can I expect from their beer menu? I can't locate one online. I'm hoping for a couple ipa's and a variety of other beers.

I had a friend tell me they were a 21 and over place like my brothers keeper, are they 21 and over only?
Not at all. All are welcome, they even have high chairs for the little ones
Is the music played super loud? Would an autistic individual with sensory issues be comfortable at this establishment with noise?
Kuma's is very loud. They would definitely be uncomfortable with sensory issues.
Where's the brunch menu?
I really don't think the menu changes. I could be wrong but even if it does, I can't imagine it changing much.
